“ Brand: Maybelline / Type: Foundations / Powders / What it does: Refreshes, „
This is one of my favourite prices of make-up, and probably the one I tend to rely on the most.
Maybelline Everfresh foundation costs around 8 pounds in the shops however you don't need much and it will last you aged. The foundation itself is long lasting and evens your skin tones, it comes in many different colours however I use the colour 'Buff'. Maybelline Everfresh really does do what it says and constantly keeps your skin looking nice and fresh, I have been commented quite a lot recently on my Make-up by friends and family and I believe it is due to this product.
The bottle stands upside down, so this is handy for when you are getting to the bottom as it all slides down, meaning that you get every last bit out of it...GREAT! :), it has a twisted lid and not a cap so there is little chance that it can spill or leak.
I normally get my make-up from Superdrug as it tends to be a little cheaper than Boots and stocks the main colours and also has some great offers.
Overall a great Item to keep in your handbag or make-up box.
I am never happy with my makeup, that's why I am always looking for something new, what will give me healthy natural look. That's why I bought Ever Fresh makeup from Maybelline. I am not sure, I did the right thing, but if you don't try it, you never know.
Maybelinne Ever fresh makeup, has kind of dull look to me. Tube of this makeup has a silver look and another part is transparent , so you can see original color of makeup. They have many different shades from light to dark, I think each of us will have no trouble to find her own shade.
Applying this makeup is really easy, you just need to shake it a little and apply on your finger and then on your face. It really depends on you, if you want use fingers or a little cosmetic sponge for applying makeup. Sponge will be probably the best and your foundation will last longer.
One thing I really don't like about this makeup, the smell. I just can't stand when I apply makeup on my face and then can smell this chemical aroma. I know it is probably better for our skin, when it doesn't have any perfumes, but at least I will be glad, if it smell fresh or have no smell.
What i like is three facts of this makeup. It won't clog pores, it is oil free and has SPF 14 Sunscreen, so it will protect your skin all day long.
All the ingredient are listed on the back side of tube and you can find them in three languages.
I remember I bought this product in Germany and pay for it about 7 euros for 38 ml tube, what last me for a long time. But I think you can't find this product any more, because it was
If this product will be bring back, I am not sure I would buy it again, since there are so many new and better products out there. I would rather try something new, with better smell and maybe different shades.
Thanks for reading
When I was shopping for some make up that I could use for travelling, when my best make up was packed for holidays, I came across Maybelline's EverFresh for a discount price in Ethel Austin. Maybelline's Wonderfinish is in my top three favourite ever foundations, and I had relatively good results with their Dream Mousse foundation (it looked great on and applied well but dried out m skin) and also have had many different Maybelline products all of which I have been happy with. Due to this I thought that the chances are that this foundation would be at the very least okay.
On top of this EverFresh is supposed to be a long lasting foundation and with a long haul flight being the first time I would wear this product I liked the idea that it should last well and I still might be able to look somewhere close to human after a long flight and a lack of sleep the night before.
I would love to tell you HOW EverFresh works, but Maybelline can be somewhat vague as to the hows. It apparently has an "advanced 'fresh-extend' formula with fresh coat pigments that resist fading". Now, to me that sounds like a load of words, with no real explanation as to how. I want to know what these fresh coat pigments are and how they work but but the only results the internet yield on these mystery pigments, are the description of Maybelline Everfresh! I guess they are good at keeping their secrets at least but I do like to know how things work, as I find them more believable that way 
Anyway, regardless of how it works, or what makes these pigments any different to any others, it DOES work. I found that toward the end of my 11 hour flight, when I took my make up to the bathroom to freshen up, I didn't need to do any touch ups to my foundation as it was still there, un faded and it hadn't smudged or gone patchy.
The foundation is liquid in a squeezy plastic bottle and is very easy to apply and it blends easily. I found that it gives really good coverage to any flaws on the skin and evens out the skin tone excellently whilst hiding imperfections.
It has a lightweight formula, and the foundation never feels like it is there on your skin, like some can, and definitely doesn't feel or look caked on. Apparently this foundation "takes care of your skin" although wearing any foundation is never going to be any sort of substitution of a good skin care regime in my opinion. Maybelline say it conatins a "unique blend of botanicals and antioxidants", again very vague. What exactly does it contain? How is it helping my skin? Maybelline are keeping their card's close to their chests so I guess we'll never know. I will say that whilst this product doesn't seem to have improved my skin at all, it definitely didn't have a negative effect on it, it didn't clog up pores and cause break outs, nor did it dry out the skin. The two things Maybelline will tell us it contains are vitamins C and E.
Vitamin C can help people with sensitive skin and skin allergies and there are also some studies that suggest it is good for anti ageing properties. Vitamin E is great for the skin with numerous benefits including; protecting the skin from harmful elements, reducing fine lines and wrinkles, treating sunburn, treatment of skin diseases, treatment of scars and actually helping fight against skin cancer. Whether this foundation has a high enough amount of these vitamins in to make a difference I don't know, I didn't notice an improvement in the skin from using it, but the inclusion of these things is at least a bonus.
It also has a SPF 14, which is better than nothing but could do with being a little higher really. On top of all this it is oil free.
The foundation is said to be smudge free and I can definitely agree with this claim after it not transferring onto myself, or my boyfriend's clothing, or the airline pillows provided on the flight. It stayed put where it was supposed to be and never became smudged or patchy.
Where the product falls down, for some people at least, is there are only six shades in the range; Ivory, Buff, Nude, Natural Beige, San and Tan. There are no shades for particularly darker skin tones, all the ones available are quite light shades. If there is a shade that suits your skin though this is a good foundation.
This foundation retails at £6.49 and only a little is required for good coverage so it should last well.
All in all I was happy with this, yet another success from Maybelline. I continue to use this when I don't have my other foundations available to use at my boyfriends house and I am always more than happy with the results.
It's not quite as good as my top three foundations but it's not far behind!
Lightweight foundation that gives you a flawless look all day!
