      Very helpful

      A great bit of fun

==Lego Star Wars Battle Trooper 8084==

Jack is only 3 ½ but he really is Lego obsessed! This Christmas all he wanted from Santa was tons and tons of the Star Wars Lego as this, at the moment, seems to be his favourite type. Of course from about September he was telling everyone and anyone who would listen that this was what he wanted and therefore we ended up with a house full of stuff on Christmas Day.

This Lego Star Wars Battle Trooper was one of the smaller items from the Star Wars range and usually retails for around the 8 to £10 mark. The age range of this piece is from 6 years to 12 years of age. This basically means that a 6 year old could follow the instructions and put the item together by themselves. So seeing as Jack isn't nearly 6 it meant that I had to put it together (Himself being at work I had to do ALL the Lego items!).

Jack is cleaver though and can assemble the small Lego figures that come with the set. This Battle Trooper set contains 4 different figures (An Imperial Officer, an AT-AT Driver and two Snowtroopers - I am getting used to all the names now having bought Jack the entire Star Wars film set on VHS (£2 from the charity shop!) we have been watching nothing else!).

The Battle station and Imperial Speeder Bike come in 74 pieces and were relatively easy to put together. The instructions that come with any Lego set are very clear and easy to follow making the whole task rather therapeutic (even after a few too many Sherry's!). Jack did help with passing and putting on a few of the bricks which did of course slow the whole building process down which meant it took around 30 fun minutes rather than me rushing through the whole thing myself.

The set is a good one and even one its own would represent a really good little item to have and one that can simulate a great Star Wars game. The fact that there are 4 figures with it makes it far better than a lot of the other smaller sets and seeing as these little men come with accessories such as helmets and guns makes it all the more interesting.

The way they have made these Star Wars figures is really good and they are easily recognisable from the characters from the film itself. As with all Lego items I feel the set is made to a high quality and the pieces will last well (if I don't suck them up the Dyson too many times!)

The Battle Station is equipt with a rotating flick missile firing gun and this is great fun even if it is not the sturdiest of items when Jacks chubby fingers are firing it. Again this extra detail make the item have great playability.

In my opinion, this little piece of Lego not only represents good value for money but also good playability too. It is an affordable item which would make a great small gift for any fan of either Lego or Star Wars. It is easy to assemble and has a lot to offer considering its size and price.

I really cannot fault this item of Lego Star Wars and for that reason I am awarding a top score of 5 out of 5 stars and giving it an exceptionally high recommendation.

Many thanks for taking the time to read.

I do hope that this has been of some help/interest to you.
