Johnny and Rosie are soo fashionable, their products are always so cool, except the prices arent so good. If it was cheaper then wouldnt it persuade more people (who dont have money growing on the trees in their back gardens) to buy it. I would happily spend up to a tenner for a necklace, but no way would I splash out what 'Johnny loves Rosie' charge, even if I could afford it. Why does the stuff have to be so expensive, it's probably the same quality as some of the less expensive stuff you can buy in the highstreet, and i bet the syles are quite similar too!! But they are funky though!!!!!

This jewelly is usually kinda fashionable and very much hyped in magazines, but I believe the hype is unjustified. For one thing most of it could be homemade with a little bit of patience (and a big saving) and secondly you can pick half of it up in the accessory department of Topshop, H&M or even New Look for a fraction of the price. For example, they were selling a piece of leather thong for £6.20!!! It's just a bit of leather that you could pick up from you haberdashery for about a pound ... they hadn't even done anything innovative with it ... maybe just dyed it a few interesting colours (but that doesn't sell me). No, if you want fashionable, quirky jewellery don't get it from here, you are paying for the name, and the love story of Johnny and Rosie. You see the company started by Johnny buying rosie little good luck charms etc and they decided to market this (the legend goes supposedly but is that just a marketting ploy?)

You know how everyone started wearing huge fabric flowers in their hair (well, women, I didn't notice the trend take off so well with men :-) - Johny Loves Rosie can be credited with starting this. They sell all sorts of accessories but are best known for those large blooms. Now, of course, you can't go into an accessories shop without finding funky flowers and glittering chopsticks to decorate your head should you so wish (and I often do). They tend to be far cheaper than JLR's but generally of a lesser quality. Sometimes you get what you pay for, I suppose, but I'm still not prepared to splash out 20 quid for what is, basically, something to keep the hair out of your eyes. They are lovely, I do lust after them, but I will make do with my rip-off copies for now...
