I have been with Mad about bargains for about 3 years. Its a great site that helps you get great bargains and money off offers. I get regular emails telling me about these such bargains. The site is origional in the fact that it seem like you are being treated like an individual not one of many! My favourite search is for supermarket offers, you have to be patient to go through all the offers but you can search for individual items. This is great if you are in a credit crunch situation like me! There are top tips all the time, these are the best offers at the time but in my experience you have to be quick if you want to get the offer. You can also ask a question for example "does anyone know of any offers on at Alton Towers at the moment?" and the general public will answer. All in all a great service and personnally it has saved me ££££'s over the years....Well done Jeanie.
Like many people I am always on the look-out for bargains particularly when I am purchasing products that can cause a substantial amount of money. I have used a lot of price comparison websites over the years and in the process have saved myself a small fortune in the process. I am always looking for money saving sites and constantly adding useful ones to the favourite places on my computer tool bar. (for future reference). I was browsing the web the other day looking for similar sites when I came across the website www.madaboutbargains.co.uk.
The website was setup by a housewife and her family to allow bargain hunters to share their information with other like-minded people who in turn would post any deals they themselves had found. They receive revenue to run this site basically by people clicking through their links onto the various retailers featured.
This website is quite basic really when you first log on and are greeted with the homepage which is a vibrant turquoise colour. It is quite busy with several boxes both to the left and right which display prominently any special offers they have on at that particular time. As stated previously the website is for bargain-hunters to share information about special offers and deals that they have personally found. As a result the potential buyer should review the information given and then decide for themselves if the listed item is in fact a bargain or not. There is a list of well known retailers down the right hand side. If you click on one of their links it opens up in a new browser window and highlights the special offers available for these companies. There are a lot of retailer offers here so I would advise taking a look to see if there is in fact a special offer relating to something you wish to purchase.
There is a toolbar along the top of the site which is split up into different sections:
Top Tips, classic tips, your tips, off your trolley, coupon crazy, search, Q&A, financial products and a contact us section. All areas link to special offers whether it be getting the best offers that week from supermarkets, coupons offering discounts on various products. Money off and price reductions including redemption codes which can be used against a purchase from various retailers. The Q&A section is from members of the public who are looking for a particular deal can post a question via the website and other members who have found a match for their question can inform them of any deals that they have found relating to this enquiry. There is also a financial best buys section which lists the best deals to be had on credit cards, loans and current accounts.
You can also register your email address on the site and it will keep you informed regarding any special offers and bargains which are updated daily. I was quite impressed with this site and all of the deals that I looked at were in date which is refreshing as some similar sites list coupons and voucher codes which are out of date. In addition it gives you the expiry date of all offers. Overall I would recommend this site and will definitely be referring to it particularly if I am going to make bigger household purchases. Worth a look you might just find an offer which will save you £££££££s.
