I ordered one of these for my puppy. Lead time on the website said 6 weeks so I asked if I could get it any quicker and it arrived three weeks later in perfect condition and just in time for my new puppy Dexter. Dexter is now four months old and loves his bowl and I''ve just ordered a matching one for him.
I''ve been surprised at some of the bad reviews on here as I''ve now had 3 bowls for my cats from Chow Bella over the years, and all of them arrived in the stated time and all of them are absolutely lovely. I''ve recommended them to lots of friends and my cats love them too :-)
I ordered one for these bowls for my cocker spaniel Molly. It arrived yesterday and it''s absolutely beautiful and keeps her ears clean. The wait was 6 weeks but it was definitely worth it!
I ordered a purple and cream spaniel bowl in September. I kept emailing and texting her asking where is my bowl as she took the money out of the bank in September. In the end she said her mum was ill in hospital. That was fair enough. I was so disappointed that I had to keep emailing her and texting. Eventually I received the bowl. It was well packaged. To my disappointment there was a chip on the side of the bowl. What she done was paint over the chip. I emailed and text again. A week later she said she was ill and I would receive a replacement early January. It is now March and I am still waiting. I text her but no reply. If u are considering buying a bowl for ur pooch steer well clear from chowbella. She is a rip off and she is a dreadful business woman. Don't know how she is still in business.
I ordered late August in 2013! I emailed her 3-4 months earlier and asked if I could have the personalisation in gold on a deep purple coloued bowl, with crown imprints, she said this was fine and to put it in on the details on the order, I emailed to say it maybe a while before the order due to illness and she said that was fine. On ordering I put all that info on the order and said ANY PROBLEMS or any changes EMAIL OR CALL ME.
I waited 2 months, emailed... no reply... waited 3 months tried to call which is a mobile number only, no reply, I left 2 voice mail messages and emailed again... I had no replies! 13th December I finally received the bowl which was AWFUL! all the writing was stamped on in BLACK which was half smudged and stamped on over MORE SMUDGED crowns! The bottom had a big crack UNDER the glazing! No note rgarding the state of the bowl, it was merely sent as if it was acceptable! I text her photo's and asked if she was having a laugh?! She finally emailed me saying she is not able to do gold writing!!! Well why agree to it?! and the bowl wasnt purple it was light amethyst, I had asked for it to be darker than pictured on the website. She said she was already in the process of remaking me one!
Well it is now 18th FEBUARY and NO SIGN OF A REPLACEMENT! i HAVE EMAILED HER AGAIN TODAY AND THREATENED WITH TRADING STANDARDS IF SHE DOES NOT GIVE ME AN IMMEDIATE REFUND!
We will see what happens, avoid this company like the plague! WORST SERVICE EVER.

But the products do look nice on the website so we proceeded all the same and placed an order for bespoke pet bowls.
The problems started when we looked at the calender nearly two months later and began to wonder where our order was. OK, these things need to be made and fired and glazed etc. but there is a time period quoted and we had been waiting much longer. Chow Bella proved hard to contact, and even when after we spoke they did not keep their word about delivery. and eventually when I gave them an absolute deadline a few days later they rushed into action and the bowls arrived shortly afterwards - almost three months after the initial order.
But there was a problem, one of the bowls was clearly substandard. To their credit, the firm were the ones who pointed this out and said that a replacement would be on the way. This didn't come for another three months and more broken undertakings, and then only after I had threatened to take matters further if they didn't either come up with the goods or give a full refund immediately. And when the replacement came it was a different size to the original and so the set didn't match. But we gave up at this point!
