Flash Spray with Bleach
I remember in my first home buying Flash in a little rectangular box and using it too wash floors and paintwork. These days Flash is a must have addition to my cleaning cupboard and it can be bought in many different fragrances and dilutions for a whole range of uses. Currently, in my store and in use under the sink I have 2 fragrances of large bottles of general purpose cleaner and the Flash with Bleach Spray. It is the Flash with Bleach Spray that I am reviewing here.
The flash spray is provided in a 500ml trigger spray plastic bottle, the trigger has the twist style on off square dial that has raised dots to help the visually impaired and the container features the Flash logo clearly on the front along with the text Flash with Bleach.
The rear label has the big X to remind the user that it could be an irritant and the usual advice to keep away from children, eyes etc. There is also a ! warning advising that as it contains chlorine bleach it requires rinsing immediately from metal, rubber and vinyl and that it should be used with care on pitted surfaces such as fridges with damage, aluminium and so on. The label also claims that the product "cleans tough soils and stains, fantastic cleaning on surfaces and cooker tops, sinks, work surfaces, ceramic tiles, and surfaces made of porcelain enamel." The container is recyclable too.
The product is fairly thick and has a reassuring clean bleach smell, however the bleach aroma is not too overpowering. It foams up and cleans thoroughly wiping easily away. All in all an easy product to use, I tend to spray it onto the part of the worktop or cupboard door etc that I want to clean and spread it around with a cloth or some kitchen paper prior to wiping it off in a sweeping motion with a damp cloth to rinse away.
I particularly like to use the spray on surfaces and cutting boards as well as knives after I have been preparing raw meat or more recently canine medicines and I have every confidence in the product that it will kill germs and leave the items clean and fresh.
I find the Flash with bleach excellent value for money as I only need a quick spray to cover quite a large area.
I find it is an ideal product for cleaning the tiles behind the cooker and it brings them up to a nice shine. I also occasionally use it to clean around the bottom of the door where the dogs come in and out and again it leaves the paintwork looking fresh and gives me the confidence that any nasty germs have been eradicated.
Not that I can think of.
Busy homes... I like to use Ecover General Purpose Cleaner, but there are times when only a bleach product will do, I also tend to have an antibacterial spray such as Dettol in the cupboard as well, but frequently I reach for the Flash with Bleach first. You may argue that diluting bleach myself would be a cheaper option and whilst that is quite true, I think this represents excellent value for money as only a little is required and I don't have the inconvenience of the worry of splashing undiluted bleach onto clothing etc. I ti s already there at just the right consistency and strength.
Price & Availability:
Widely available from supermarkets and other outlets that stock Procter & Gamble products. I think usual price is around £1.30 for the 500ml handy trigger size, but I tend to buy a couple when it is on offer somewhere at £1.00 or less.
I can highly recommend Flash with Bleach to anyone looking for a product that gives quick and easy results where a bleach product is required.
Thank you for reading my review and I hope it is useful?
I decided to beat the January blues by blitzing my place and had a good shop around for some branded cleaning essentials at good prices. I found this 500ml bottle at Home Bargains for just £1 and have to say it was well worth it.
I am not a great fan of bleach products but find that it not only cleans well and gets rid of a good deal of bacteria but also leaves that 'I've spent all day cleaning' smell in case I have unexpected visitors! The bottle I bought is as shown and the trigger action means you can be as generous or as mean as you like when it come to dispensing. The 'gun' works well although I do notice that it can dribble a little so I would advise putting it somewhere safe in case it drips onto carpets etc.
I use this primarily in the bathroom where it cleans my loo, bath and washbasin very effectively and quickly. I also use it on my tiles in the bathroom and kitchen and it even cleans the grouting a little. The foam is fairly thick so it needs to be rinsed off thoroughly otherwise it will leave smears but I think it is well worth the hassle. It is also good for cleaning worktops and smooth surfaces but beware - do not use it on fabrics or textured surfaces as I did by mistake - it lifts the colour so there is nothing you can do to rectify the damage. Flash DO give cautions on the reverse so I cannot blame the product and this will teach me to read labels before I use cleaning stuff.
Alongside written directions for usage Proctor and Gamble also give diagrams, provide cautions, a list of ingredients, how effective the product is, disposal advice and handy website address plus phone-line in case of queries. I do not have any pets or children so I keep this under my kitchen sink remembering to close the nozzle shut in case of accidents.
The liquid smells primarily of bleach to me but apparently it contains eucalyptus too but the smell is not too intense (not as strong as Domestos for instance) and I feel as though I have given my place a really good clean. It should last me quite a while so I reckon this Flash product was a good buy and will be buying again because it works well for my purposes.
I am not a fan of cleaning the bathroom so I try out different products in the hope that one day I will find the one that makes bathroom cleaning quick and simple. My most recent purchase is a 500ml trigger spray bottle of Flash with Bleach.
I am not sure what attracted me to this bottle as there is nothing particularly attention grabbing about the packaging so it must have been the excellent price tag of 99p.
I don't particularly look for products that are bathroom or kitchen specific so Flash fits the criteria of being multi purpose as it has the picture of a bath and a cooker on the front. I am also told that Flash with Bleach has a fresh Eucalyptus scent.
To use the spray is incredibly simple just twist the nozzle on the trigger to on and spray onto the surface you wish to clean. The spray comes out the bottle as foam which was a little surprising for me at first as I was expecting droplets like most trigger sprays.
For light soiling I just spray a couple of patches of foam on the surface to be cleaned and then wipe away. Flash with bleach definitely smells of bleach and I can not detect a fresh Eucalyptus sent. As I wipe the dirty bathroom surfaces I can see that the Flash lifts all surface dirt and leaves the window sills and shelves looking clean.
The Flash spray also makes light work of the soap and toothpaste residue that is lurking in the sink and a quick wipe over with a squirt of Flash on a cloth leaves the taps sparkling.
The next to be tackled is the bath and shower. As the shower is over the bath the tiles and bath can get quite grimy between each cleaning session. After giving the tiles the spray and wipe treatment I then apply lots of squirts of Flash around the tap area and the seal between the bath and tiles as this can get quite grimy. I can see that the foam gets in all the gaps that a traditional spray would not usually reach. As advised by the label I leave the spray to work for a minute before wiping the foam off and giving it all a rinse off with the shower head. All the soap and shower scum is easily removed and I am left with a shiny clean bathroom.
I have also used Flash in the kitchen and while it does a good job I am not as impressed with its kitchen cleaning powers as I am with its bathroom cleaning powers so I mostly use this in the bathroom.
As Flash with bleach actually contains bleach try to avoid spraying this on your skin and fabrics as I found out yesterday when I spotted the lovely bleaches patches on my t-shirt.
All things considered I feel Flash with bleach is an excellent multi purpose cleaner.
Cons: bleaches clothes, smells strongly of bleach.
Pros: excellent cleaning results, lasts a long time, multi purpose, good value.
I give it 4/5 stars. Losing half a star for bleaching my clothes and half a star for smelling strongly of bleach.
Thank you for reading.
Flash is a brand which has been around for a very long time. It is a brand I would call a reliable one and one which I find does clean very well. I have bought this product quite a few times and it is one which I find useful for cleaning around my home.
It comes in a plastic bottle which has the name very clearly on the front and so can easily be spotted on a shelf. It also has a trigger action nozzle which I find really easy to press to release the spray onto my surfaces.
It sprays a really even mist onto the surface and it doesn't shoot from the nozzle and hits the surface well. It is a fairly thick liquid which is white in colour and it has a slight hint of bleach fragrance to it but it isn't a very strong smell of the bleach like you may imagine, it is a subtle scent and also quite a pleasant one in my opinion. It also has a subtle eucalyptus scent to it which is a really nice fragrance and I think this scent and the bleach work extremely well together in my opinion and I like the smell of it quite a lot. I think it has just the correct amount of bleach aroma for a spray cleaner. It doesn't blow your head off when you spray it.
In terms of how this cleaner works for cleaning around the home it works extremely well. You don't need to spray a lot of it for it to clean well. A little does go a very long way. It is a nice one to clean my bathroom sink, I just give it a quick spray and then leave it for a few seconds and then wipe it with a damp cloth. My sink isn't very dirty because I don't have any young children living in my home so a few seconds is well enough to clean it well. When my little grandchildren have stayed over for the weekend and my sink is a little more dirty than usual I do find I have to leave the cleaner for a little longer to just attack the dirt more easily but it is only up to around a minute or so longer and the cleaner works its magic and removes the dirt well.
It works well for cleaning my bath and when I use it to clean the bath I do leave the spray on the surface for around 2 minutes or so just to make sure all of the marks are removed and no scum is left behind.. It works well used around my taps on both my bath and bathroom sink too.
It cleans the base of my shower really well and removes any residue left from shampoo, conditioners and body washing products. I have used it to clean my stainless steel sink in my kitchen too and I have found it hasn't ruined the steel at all and it has removed any stains on the base of my sink really well and I don't need to scrum it to remove the stains. This cleaner does all of the hard work for you and takes little effort to remove the dirt and grime. I have used it also to clean my kitchen work tops and it has removed the dirt really well.
It is a nice one to clean tiles too and removes any grease from them really well.
This cleaner is also really easy to rinse from the surface in no time at all. It doesn't leave any white residue on the surfaces after it has dried. The surfaces look really clean and when used on bathroom surfaces, the surfaces look shiny and not dull in appearance.
For a 500ml bottle I paid just £1 for it from Asda and I think for this price it is extremely good value for the money and well worth the price in my opinion. The quality is really good too.
I highly do recommend this cleaner for anyone looking to buying a cleaner which works well without having to scrum the surface being cleaned. I will keep on buying this cleaner in the future because it gives me all of the results which I expect from a branded cleaning spray.
I give this one 5 stars.
Thank you for reading my review and I hope it has been of some help.
Some people have a problem with bleach in cleaning products, I actually go out of my way to look for multi purpose cleaners which contain a bleach. I am strange like that, I really like the smell and I always feel that it's killing more germs than it would be if it didn't contain any bleach at all.
I buy 500ml sized plastic bottles of Flash Spray with Bleach from Home Bargains at only £1. These come in the gun/pump action spray and I use them primarily in the shower, the bathroom and the downstairs loo. This spray does a fantastic job at removing grease, limescale and soap marks from bathroom taps and it does a brilliant job at cleaning up tiles inside my shower as well as the inside (and outside) of baths and wash basins.
It kills up to 99.9% of gems and it really does give me peace of mind, whenever I use it. The smell is quite nice and probably not as 'bleachy' as you might think. There is a slight hint of bleach when you first use this spray but it is nicely masked by a fresh gentle aroma of something I can only describe as a weak fabric conditioner. I love that I don't have to keep on scrubbing away for ages with a cloth whenever I use this spray. It seems to lift marks and stains right off the surface and after rinsing, everything in my bathroom and shower room looks fresh and clean and really sparkling. I also use it on the inside of the shower door and once this is rinsed it leaves no marks or runs behind, which is another bonus.
It's so cheap and well worth the money and brings everything up lovely as well as smelling rather nice into the bargain.
I definitely recommend it.
I am a believer in sticking with products that work, and this certainly does. We may try other products, but always come back to this one!
It retails for around £2.00 - £2.50, but if you are lucky enough to catch it on offer can be as little as £1 per bottle on a multisave.
It comes in a sturdy plastic bottle, with a sturdy trigger system and an on off nozzle - you will struggle to make this one leak or drip on your hands while spraying. The bottle is clearly marked as harmful due to the bleach content, so make sure it is stored securely away from small children, don't spray on fabrics and remember to wash your hands after use! The spray has a bleach odour to it (obviously!) but it really does smell clean.
When the trigger is pulled, it produces a white foam spray rather than a liquid spray. This does not provide the cover that a liquid spray spray does, but with this product, a little really does go a long way - the foam can be wiped around on a cleaning cloth and still be very effective.
1 spray will clean about a 1 - 2 feet square depending on how dirty it is. It comes into its own when there is caked on dirt or grease as it will cut through more or less instantly, whereas a liquid spray may well need to or 3 applications. The surfaces dry without smear and really do look, feel and smell clean. The product is also very good with heavy cooked on dirt or grease. This time you will need to leave for a few minutes before you are simply able to wipe away. On really stubborn stains you may need to repeat, I can only remember doing this once or twice. This product keeps our gas cooker hob clean and shiny with no cooking marks really easily as well as the rest of the kitchen.
It is far more economical than most liquid sprays to due to the cleaning power and foam nature
Recommendation - absolutely yes. you can't go wrong with this product.
I have not seen a review of this product since I came back to Dooyoo, and to be honest, it was something that was sitting on the shelf that I did not really feel I take an interest in.
With such a massive range of cleaning products, which to be honest all pretty much do the same thing, its all about what is on offer at the time. Cillit Bang is my preferred choice when its on offer.
My wife and I needed a good cleaning product that is good for cleaning the bathroom. Sink and shower. We needed a good powerful cleaner that cuts through the water marks on the shower which builds up over time.
Flash with bleach was on offer in Morrisons, selling for £1 which when compared to Cillit Bang at £3, its a no brainer.
We were worried abit about the "bleach" part of the product. The last thing you want is a bathroom smelling of strong bleach.
It comes in a 500ml bottle with a pump action spray. You turn the nozzle from off to on. The contents is white in colour and the spray is very good. The distance it shoots is good and the coverage is excellent. The substance is not to thin but not to thick either. It hits the glass and does not run down instantly.
The front of the bottle states that it has 3 in 1: Hygiene, Tough Stain Removal, Fresh Scent.
When sprayed, you did get a small whiff off bleach but its not really noticeable. Having done the whole bathroom, I did not need to open any windows. The scent is not really there, it just covers the bleach smell.
I have found that cillit bang in the past has got into a small cut on my hand and in the past stung like hell. Flash with bleach did not do this.
Absolutely no issue. It cut through the glass lime scale without any problems. Left it on for a minute, then with a sponge, just simply did circular motions and found that I really noticed a difference in friiction. It was cutting through with ease. After drying, the glass was as clean as a whistle, and no smears.
It does the job. No doubt about that. I know that bleach can put people off, and we were wary of it. However there was nothing to worry about. The bottle design is better than cillit bang, and I think does the job just aswell.
Spaniel Hall is minging!
Baron Spanielmeister is back in residence and we have various delegates and dignitaries staying (that Henry Kissinger has some appalling habits). The weather is beautiful, but living where we do in the country means that when you open a door or window it's like lifting the lid on Pandora's Box and every conceivable beastie and creepy crawly invades in its thousands. Even just giving the boys a good brush in the garden means that the breeze will catch the dog hair and deposit it on the carpet.
Hosting a mini G8 is taking its toll, and I've been driven to the drastic measure of CLEANING! ARGH!
For yonks I've used a store brand spray cleaner with bleach, but recently I stocked up with the Flash equivalent as it was half price at just £1. I was really impressed with the cleaning power, often own brands are just as good but this cleaner was much better.
My cleaning routine for almost everything is a bottle of spray in one hand and a damp cloth in the other - and zap the lot! The bottle says "Fantastic cleaning on cooker tops, sinks, work surfaces, ceramic tiles (oooh, me Chalfonts) and surfaces made of porcelain enamel", but almost all surfaces get a blast regardless. Most of my furniture has had at least one previous owner, so I'm not too concerned, but if you have lovely varnished surfaces or metal of any kind do take care.
The spray mechanism (updated from the pic) is my favourite part - it's wider and chunkier than many sprays and is so powerful I can get a good three feet of straight spray. I do have a bit of fun with this and make my way round the house pretending to be Cagney and Lacey and "shooting" at the dirt! As we have lots of spiders there are often cobwebby corners and spider poo - the spray is great for reaching high up areas, then I wipe it with a long mop (I do make sure no spiders are at home 1st!). It's also great on indoor glass and window sills where all kinds of beasties hang out.
The instructions say that you should leave tough stains for a minute before wiping. The cleaner is very dense and bubbly, almost like a mousse, so after a minute it's still nice & frothy. This also means that for cleaning vertical surfaces like doors or walls it doesn't run off right away. This is great especially for the bath and shower as it sticks on long enough to get a good soak into the grime.
It is supposed to have a "Fresh Eucalyptus Scent" but I can only smell bleach, however it's not too overpowering - the house just smells clean, and not like the local swimming baths.
I know not everyone is a fan of bleach - the bottle gives you the usual irritant warnings and medical advice, plus advice on using together with other products (I learnt the hard way once and made a toxic cocktail of cleaning stuff in my mop bucket). I find it doesn't irritate my hands, but my skin is reptilian now anyway.
There is also the issue of bleach marks on your clothes so I be sure to wear my old duds as I will invariably spray myself or lean over a sprayed surface. I've also used this to get a couple of nasty stains off white clothes.
The bottle is recyclable, but I often hang onto mine and reuse when I need a good squirty spray.
This is a really good effective cleaning product, makes cleaning a lot easier and I'd recommend it.
Thank you for reading.
I usually just go for the cleaning product that is on offer while I do my weekly shop, and do not find myself loyal to any brand. As I am nesting I have been running around cleaning anything in sight. One of my favourites at the moment is this flash spray with bleach. Usually I really dislike the smell of bleach. Yes it is a fresh smell but there is something about it that usually makes me nauseous. I have found that this does smell strongly of bleach, but while this is strong it is not over bearing. There is a slight floral smell that lingers in the background, and that for me takes the edge of the bleach away while still smelling fresh.
I like that the cleaner comes out almost as a foam at first. With one spray a large amount of the bleach is dispensed, and because of the thick consistency it clings to any surface I use it on. After a few seconds it begins to dissolve, but still remains in the area I originally sprayed it on. With most areas I can spray and instantly wipe away with it being effective, but for tougher stains I find if I spray and leave it for a minute it tends to work better.
Cleaning power is great. I love that it can be used in the kitchen and bathroom, and even use it on other areas around the house to get rid of sticky hand prints on doors from my children. Of course it contains bleach so the usual precautions are in place such as staining and irritation to skin, but I have never suffered any of these problems. In the kitchen it is perfect for cleaning the sides, but it is also strong enough to work on tougher stains like splash back from cooking. The spray works almost instantly at cutting through grease in the kitchen, which makes wiping down each day very easy.
In the bathroom it can be used to bring tiles and the bathroom suit white again, making them clean and the whole bathroom smell fresh in the process. Even the grouting in my bathroom looks a lot fresher since I switched to using this instead of my usual bathroom spray. I tend to leave it to sit while I clean the rest of the bathroom as this is one of the areas I find needs a little longer for the bleach to settle. I do find that the scent really lasts after using it too which is always a plus side for me. Also because the scent has a floral twist it actually makes a room smell pleasant not industrial. I try not to let dirt build up, but with four young children my home is often put to the test with mess and stickiness. This works a dream at keeping the cleaning process short and I have found it to work well on a number of areas.
As it only takes a small spray for a large area I find that the bottle lasts well. I also find that unless the bottle is completely upside down the spray feature works well without slowing down when you are holding it at awkward angles. I love that it leaves no residue at all, and once wiped down with water all traces of the cleaning spray are removed. It cleans just as well as bleach on its own without the horrible smell.
I would highly recommend this flash spray to anyone looking for a tough household cleaner. It is often on sale and I managed to pick my bottle up for around a £1 which I think is excellent value. It is tough on mess and makes cleaning up very easy. It smells fresh and the scent lasts for a good while after use freshening up a room. It is multipurpose as it can be used in different areas of the home which is perfect for a quick and convenient tidy.
Flash spray with bleach
I like spray cleaning products because they are easier to use than the more conventional type of surface cleaners and I know ( or think I know!) that they leave surfaces hygienic ally clean.
I don't usually buy sprays containing bleach but this was on offer and cost £1 for a 500 ml bottle of the stuff. I believe it's usually about twice this price or maybe more, so this was good value. The spray is available in most supermarkets and so it's worth waiting until its on offer.
It apparently cleans tough stains and is suitable for use on hobs, sinks, ceramic tiles, and surfaces although it should not be used on painted or varnished surfaces. Care should be taken when close to upholstery or carpets in case the bleach discolours the fabric.
To use the spray the nozzle should be turned, and when not in use should be turned the other way to close it off. Surfaces need to be sprayed completely by pulling on the trigger spray mechanism, and then rinsed and wiped dry; if they are heavily soiled or there is dried on food, then the cleaner should be left for a while before wiping off.
It does spray easily and the range is quite big, in front and slightly to the side of the trigger. This is one of the problems I have with the spray, the fact that it isn't a very neat spraying action but rather quite random and there is a lot of the spray comes out with one pull of the trigger. This means that if I am standing any where near the spray and wearing dark clothes then invariably I will get sprayed and get little pink spots on my clothes for my trouble.
On the plus side it does clean kitchen surfaces very effectively and because it really does have quite a strong smell of bleach I feel that once cleaned with this sprayit really has killed as many of those nasty germs as possible and my benches and taps are clean.
Sprays with bleach are never my first choice for the reason stated above. Way too much margin of error and chance of spotted clothes for may liking. What I do like is the way this product makes my kitchen smell really clean. I do like to use it on the taps and the toilet handles although I make sure that they are wiped down so that there is no bleach on hands but I do like to know these bits are especially clean.
Recommended if you can be really careful with the spraying but I won't be rushing out to buy more.
Thanks for reading
Flash is amazing in its own right. Now they have made Flash with Bleach, as well as having your surfaces smelling clean you can bleach the bad bacteria away from your kitchen or bathroom.
You can use Flash with bleach on any surface ranging from porcelain to enamel from side boards to tiles. Flash will be having your house sparkling and gleaming in no time. You can use this little bottle of miracles to remove spills and even hard dirt such as dried up coffee, all you have to do it spray it on and leave it for 1-2 minutes then simply wipe away! Avoid using this product in scratched surfaces and clothes especially. You will get awful stains from getting bleach on your clothes. Bleach is a massive irritant on your skin so please use gloves when using this product. Be sure as well to open all windows, inhaling the gas from the bleach is no good for you at all.
Flash with bleach really does make your surfaces very very shiny, as well as doing this it eradicates harmful bacteria that you cannot see.
This spray comes out very frothy and you can see it working.
It's a lot more easier to use than scrubbing.
Comes in a wonderful bottle that is easy to use and fits perfectly into the hand.
The spray nozzle gives the right amount of spray and it does not spray all over the place, it is very neat.
Has a very clean fresh smell, Flash promotes this as being a eucalyptus fragrance, however all I can smell is bleach. As we all know, the smell of bleach is very overpowering.
Not so good bits.
Prominent bleach smell that is quite over powering.
No good for my skin personally, I have very sensitive skin and if any gets in my skin, it irritates and sometimes burns.
A very good product but it is not for me, because of my skin, however if your skin is not so sensitive this would be an all round perfect product. Flash with Bleach does exactly what it promises to do and delivers it so well.
Would I recommend?
Yes of course I would, I think using bleach is a great way to clean your house hygenically.
have tried various Flash cleaning products and not disliked one of them. After a trip to do my weekly shop in Asda I noticed this product: 'Flash spray with bleach" at only £1 for a 500ml bottle. At the time I couldn't really say no because I had noticed previously that the price was £2 so I thought whilst it was on offer I may as well give it a go!
I have a strange obsession with bleach, I think its amazing how well it cleans and leaves my worktops, bathroom and sink looking sparkly and almost brand new.
I must say I wasn't completely strunk on the appearance in comparison to some of the cleaning products I have purchased that seem to stand out much more, coming in brightly colour bottles. This particular cleaning product comes in a white bottle, which is easy to use because it's a trigger spray bottle. On the front of the bottle it has a picture of a cooker and bath and has the 'Flash' yellow logo on the front and states that it is with bleach. The lid is red and white. Like I said something that didn't really appeal to me, it seems a bit plain compared to the CIF Actifizz bottles and some of the other flash products I have used.
Is the product good?
Yes, is the simple answer. It is really good, it gets rid of stains that my standard cleaner doesn't and I do think that is because it contains bleach something my standard cleaner doesn't.
The bleach leaves my cleaner looking so clean compared to when I normally clean it. As usually recommended my cleaning products, I would suggest leaving the product on the area you are cleaning for a few minutes and then wiping it away so it can really activate and clean the area thoroughly.
The problem with using a bleach cleaning product for your day to day cleaning is that it obviously stains clothing, Something I know too well as it has ruined my favorite tshirt previously. So I am very careful not to use this all the time because of that, which is a shame as it does clean very well. When I do a thorough clean and wear some old clothes I do like to use this though because there is no chance of damaging my clothing and I then can get the wonderful shiny surfaces I get from this product. I wish bleach didn't ruin clothes because this would be an item I use a lot more if that was the case.
Another problem with bleach products is also the smell, sometimes this kind of product tries to distinguish the bleach smell but unfortunately it rarely works and I don't feel like they have tried to anyway with this product as I can't smell anything other than diluted bleach. To be honest though it isn't an incredibly bad issue because I use bleach all the time anyway when it comes to cleaning cloths and the toilet so it wouldn't put me off.
This product is fantastic and like I said if it wasn't for bleach ruining clothes I would use it every day! Instead I tend to use this product once a week but once I do I can see such a huge difference, which I guess, would probably be down to the bleach!
I love using bleach products when cleaning as they usually do the best job of getting off the grime and leaving the bathroom looking sparkling and very clean. Tesco have there own version of this which is what I usually use as my cleaner. This was on offer not long ago at £1 which seemed to be a good price so I put it in my basket. I had never used any flash products before because they are usually much more expensive than cheaper own brand products. I know flash is a very old product and I recall my parents using this when I was younger and living at home. I will now go into more detal on the product and explain why I think this is so good!
This usually retails at well over a pound. As I have mentioned before I got this for only £1. I RECIEVED a white 500ml bottle. The style of the bottle is much different to the one in the picture above, I have the newer branded version. The bottle is a spray bottle with a easy use trigger, it has to be one of the best triggers I have used for cleaning and I am very impressed with the ease of use. The packaging is very well done and good looking, it stands out very well on the shelf and is very recognisable.
Did it work?:
For me this works great, I mainly use it in the bathroom on the sinks, tiles and toilets. It is excellent at getting rid of stains and dirt. Even horrible old mouldy stains. The bleach breaks down most stains quickly, I find that if you leave it on it gets rid of more dirt and actually leaves the surface much more shiny. It is very easy to wipe away and doesn't foam up too much, you do not need a lot to clean a large surface. I like how easy it makes cleaning. I have also used this on the kitchen and it gets rid of dirt and grease from the hob and work surfaces very well. It is one of the best I have used, it also leaves a fresh and clean scent which makes you feel like the room/object is clean. It has stained a pair of trousers of mine though which was very annoying, so I would advise you don't wear good clothes when using this, bleach can be very irritating.
Would I recommend this to you?:
I would definately recommend this to you, it worked an absolute treat. It does everything you want it to do and more. The bottle lasted me a very long time and this impressed me a lot. In the future I will be using this as its worth paying more for. Better product. It's gets. Full 5 star rating from me, I can't pick many faults and its a great product. Thanks for reading my review! I hope it helped you out.
I am an OCD cleaner and I will spend many an hour a day wiping surfaces, mopping floors, dusting etc and because of this I have a wide variety of cleaning products most of which all do the same job but when I see something on offer I tend to buy it knowing that it wouldn't take me long to have the need to use it. One of my all time favourite products for cleaning is bleach I use it on a daily basis but there are times when I just don't have the time to use it as frequently as I can do. When I saw Flash Spray with Bleach I thought this was a convenient way of cleaning.
Flash Spray with Bleach is obviously made by the brand Flash which has a wide range cleaning products in all different varieties whether you want a spray, mop or a wipe Flash have it. For me I have quite a few Flash products and tend to find them pretty good and always seem to deliver good results. I managed to pick up a bottle from Wilkinsons for £1.00 which I thought was a pretty good buy and especially as I hadn't used it before.
Flash claim that their spray with bleach is able to cut through "tough soils and stains from hard surfaces". Now because I regularly clean there is never any build up of staining to any surface or grime but for me it is more that it will keep my surfaces especially my white ceramic tiles and white bathroom suites actually white. And of course sometimes when cooking sauces can splash and harden there is always need to use a cleaning product that can help cut through these little problems.
Flash Spray with Bleach comes in a white plastic trigger spray bottle which is not see through. It has an orange coloured label (matching the trigger spray) which has the Flash logo together with an image of a kitchen appliance and white bath obviously looking sparkling clean! On the back of the bottle there is information about the product together with how to use it and what it can be used on. Obviously when using bleach you need to be careful and the bottle features warnings on the back.
Flash Spray with Bleack comes out as a spray but definitely not a fine spray or mist and once it lands on the surface it is like a thin white foam which quickly dissolves on the surface leaving a clear liquid. Now the version I have is with the fresh eucalyptus scent but for me it is heavily scented with that typical bleach smell. There is no denying it that it does have an air of freshness to it, a lot fresher than a generic bleach which is obviously quite nice as the smell of bleach can be quite potent.
I tend to use the spray on my white bathroom suites as well as my kitchen surfaces especially after I have been preparing food as I am so conscious of preparing raw meat that I want every inch of my worktop surface wiped down. The spray as I said doesn't come out as a fine spray like I said above but it gives a decent amount of liquid onto the area you are wanting to clean as the spray isn't fine you can clearly see where it has landed on the surface.
Not only does it keep my porcelain enamel in my bathroom incredibly white but on those tough sauce stains on my cooker top, microwave and oven it manages to cut through the sauce stains with ease. I find that if you spray it on and leave for a few minutes you can generally wipe it and the sauce stain away in one stroke of the cloth making it quite an easy job. It doesn't leave a residue behind which is nice and seems to cope well on all the surfaces I have used it on with no problems at all.
I have to say that I do quite like the scent of this as although it has quite a distinctive bleach smell to it, it also has a slight hue of freshness of the eucalyptus which tones the bleach smell down a little which is quite nice. But regardless of the smell it has it does leave a very bleached clean smell where you have used it but it soon disappears after a while.
Overall, Flash Spray with Bleach manages to keep my surfaces clean and germ free which for me when I've got a 2 year old as well as numerous cats and dogs the germ freeness is a big thing for me and this manages to do it. Yes, the scent can be a little strong but it does exactly what it says on the bottle which for me is great and especially considering I paid £1 for a bottle it really is a versatile bargain. Definitely a recommendation if wanting something a little stronger than your all purpose cleaner. 4 stars from me, knocking one star off simply because you have to be incredibly careful when using it as bleach can stain.

Since moving to university, the flatmate and I have gone through all sorts of cleaning products, depending on what has been on offer or available at the time. Flash Spray with Bleach is one of those products. We are both very particular about the kitchen and bathroom being clean and smelling nice so usually, we have a whole box full of cleaning supplies in the flat.
At the minute, Flash Spray with Bleach can be found for somewhere between the £1 and £2 mark depending on where you buy it from. It can be bought in most supermarkets and other shops like Wilkinson etc.
Flash Spray with Bleach comes in a white plastic bottle, which is larger at the bottom where the liquid is stored and then thinner at the top because that is the handle. The handle has large grooves in it which makes it easier to hold in the hand. It has finger sized grooves which makes gripping it nice and comfortable. The top of the bottle is red and white, with a triggered dispenser which you can turn from off and spray. This is a nice safety feature considering that there is bleach in the product. The bottle has on it a sticker which states the product name and brand and pictures of sparkly clean kitchen and bathroom appliances.
Generally, I use this product in the bathroom as I don't like the idea of bleach around the kitchen, especially the smell of it. When cleaning the bathroom, I make sure all other items have been removed and then I can spray on the product. When the nozzle is turned to spray, a white foamy substance comes out and in quite a powerful spray. The spray is nicely directed so that liquid doesn't go everywhere. However, as soon as you do spray this there is a strong smell of bleach so if you can, open some windows and doors while you are cleaning.
After spraying the whole of my bath, shower and the tiles surrounding it, I leave the product on for about 5 minutes just to make sure that it works. Tiles especially can get a bit grimy so I like for this to work its way into that. The liquid here is quite thin though so a fair amount needs to be applied to tiles as it will run down the walls easily. After leaving this on for 5 minutes, I go back to wipe it all off with a sponge and then rinse it all down. My bath and shower were left really clean and shiny while the tiles did need a bit more work than just wiping off the liquid. Still though, after a quick scrub, they came up really nicely.
This product did a really good job and for a 500ml bottle, I think it is quite good value for money. I'm not sure that it does any extra than other, cheaper brands of cleaner but I was happy enough with it.
