“ Brand: Flash / Type: All Purpose Cleaner / Category: Cleaning & Disinfectant „
Flash Multi Surface Lavender & Camomile Fragrance - ranging from £1 to £2 at the major supermarkets This product is available in other fragrances also. This product has been described as an all purpose cleaner for hard surfaces. It can be sprayed easily though the standard style on, off nozzle and will cover a surface easily. The Spray is easy to direct. The product can also be used as a spot spray for stubborn stains, and can be left to soak for the best cleaning action. The fragrance of this product is nice and fresh - the camomile seems to tone down the lavender a little, and softens the scent. The spry itself is a purple colour, and is a see through bottle so you know exactly how much is left. I personally do not use this in the kitchen or bathroom as it is not antibacterial (I bought several on offer without actually realising). As a cleaner it is wonderful - it does break through grease and grime (I used it on the BBQ before burning all the rest of the muck off). It is a great product for general cleaning around the house but because of the lack of antibacterial power I have to say it lasted ages - there are only so many times I can clean my skirting. It really is a great product for getting rid of muck and spills but I personally feel like I've done a longer lasting job if the product I've used has an anti bacterial aspect to it. It's a great cleaner, but I would rather have one with anti bacterial in it so I wouldn't really recommend and it's only three stars for me.
Flash Multi Purpose Cleaning Spray Lavender & Camomile. I used to always buy Flash Multi purpose lavender & camomile because I liked the scent so much, not being a lover of lavender usually I was surprised to like this but hey ho! Packaging ~ Flash comes packaged in a slightly opaque white bottle through with you can see the purple coloured liquid. The product information is on a label on the front and back. A trigger action sprayer is the lid. Usage ~ Being a multi purpose spray is can be used anywhere. You simply need to spray onto the surface and not too much is needed and wipe over with a cloth, there is no need to rinse away and it cleans as well as freshens. My thoughts ~ I will admit that until quite recently I was a bit of a brand snob when it came to cleaning products but simply because any non-branded products I had tried had been rubbish. I still am really but will buy Tesco Daisy products. I always used to opt for Flash Lavender & Camomile as it was a very effective cleaning spray, not only that but it also smelt lovely too. I know it is a multi purpose spray but I generally only ever used it in the kitchen and sometimes on the banisters and wood work on the stairs. I loved the way this spray made cleaning worktops really effortless and left everything sparkling clean, I also loved the way my kitchen would smell after using it. As I have said I don't usually like Lavender scents but this was very clean smelling. When they changed the formula to Flash with Febreeze I stopped using it as I no longer like the scent. Now the scent of Febreeze really comes through quite strongly and I have to admit to this not being a scent I am particulary fond of. I was quite disappointed by this but now I do buy the Lemon Flash and this is fine. Flash Lavender & Camomile can be found on offer priced at around a £1 quite a lot of the time in various supermarkets, it's usual price is around £2.50.
I bought a bottle of Flash multi surface cleaner from Home Bargains For just under £1 for a 500mls bottle. I hadn't tried this product before but do like the flash with Bleach but thought this might be slightly milder. I have to admit the colour did attract me as it is a transparent bottle and the purple liquid was visible. I do generally use Cilit bang as a multi surface cleaner as I have been so impressed with the results but still like to try other products. The bottle has a trigger handle and a small nozzle so is quite accurate shot. The bottle has a lift up catch which my son is easily able to operate so I do have to make sure this is safely stored away. The instructions are pretty straight forward and explain that spray the surface so that it is completely covered and then wipe over with a damp cloth. I does also advise to leave stains for two minutes if stubborn stain. While it is a multi surface cleaner it does advise to test on small area when cleaning paint work. When I first used it the smell was a little disappointed. It claims on the bottle to be lavender and chamomile but it was more of a sweet chemical smell. I used this on work surfaces, cleaning the bathroom and the bathroom floor. I did find this extremely easy to use and took very little time. It also did mean when I was cleaning the bathroom floor it didn't take long to dry. I did feel I needed to scrub the bath more than usual. My son has been given some bath crayons for his birthday and despite wiping away before I empty the bath I do find the bath has the odd crayon make on. This seemed be a job a little too tough for this product. I found that the surfaces did clean but found that my taps did not shine in the way that the do with clit bang .I did find that it worked well on the kitchen bin I was happy with the results on my floor. While the smell is quite strong it had completely vanished within an hour. This Cleaner does do the job but not well enough for me to repurchase instead of my favoured Cilit bang. I am not recommending this as I do think there are better products out there for the same price.
Cleaning products that come in spray bottles are so useful, there is far less chance that there will be any substantial spillage for starters, the nozzle can be aimed directly at the spot that you are trying to clean and the amount of cleaner that you use is monitored. I have long been a fan of Flash and I used to like the Flash powder that you used to be able to buy but unless I have been walking about with my eyes closed I haven't seen any in the shops for ages. The normal RRP for the 500ml bottle of Flash is around £1.55p, now I would hesitate to pay that amount, I can always seem to find it on offer in one or other of the stores. I aim to pay little more than £1 for my 500ml bottle. Usually I buy the Flash lemon multi-purpose spray, I love the smell. The lemon spray looks fresh, it smells super and although the smell doesn't last long it does make you feel that you have done a good job. Well, to tell you the truth the choice wasn't mine the other day, the Flash spray was on offer in Wilkinson's and it was priced at 99p - but not a bottle of lemon Flash to be seen. The wire basket was chock a block with the Flash lavender and chamomile multi-purpose cleaner. I had to investigate the situation a bit further because the lavender and chamomile Flash spray is in my opinion a `murky lavender` colour and one that I am not at all smitten with. The bottle of lavender Flash multi-purpose cleaner entered my trolley and the deal was done, for 99p who was I to argue ? The Flash liquid comes in a plastic bottle that can be recycled, the bottle has a trigger top and the nozzle can be turned on and off by rotating the end of the nozzle. The bottle is well shaped, easy to hold and because it is only slim you can store it in the cupboard or under the basin out of sight. Once a week I give my bathroom a darn good shift ( that was an expression that my Mum used to use !), in other words I use a far stronger cleaner to make sure that all of the dirt, grime and scum are sent packing. In between I use the Flash spray mainly because it is quick and handy, it only takes a few seconds to use and it leaves the bathroom feeling fresh and clean. When I used the lavender and chamomile Flash spray for the first time I instantly knew we were going to need a bonding session. Earlier in the review I mentioned that in my opinion the liquid has a murky colour, well I feel that it has an unusual smell attached to it too ! I was expecting a gentle fragrance that would make me feel tranquil as I rubbed the cloth around the china and in fact what I could smell was something akin to a `musty chemical` odour with a touch of lavender thrown in for good measure. That is not to say that the Flash spray is not effective because it is, the liquid quickly removes light tide marks and small unwanted stains. The Flash lavender and chamomile spray is just not for me, I have decided that I am definitely a `lemon` woman. I expect that there will be many who favour the lavender and chamomile spray but this one won't be wending it's way into my Wilkinson's trolley again.
I got this bottle of Flash because there was a 50% extra free label on it and I always like to get as much for my money as I can. It's lavender and camomile fields fragranced and is suitable for all the rooms that need cleaning because it is a One For All spray. It sprays easy out of the bottle and comes out in quite a wide spray so I can cover the area I want to clean quickly and easily. It has a beautiful fresh smell that makes the whole room smell wicked and I was happy that the smell of the lavender isn't too strong because I think that can get overpowering sometimes. You just spray it on and wipe it off with either a dry or wet cloth but if you have a stain somewhere you can leave it on for 3 minutes and it will get rid of it. This spray leaves areas with a nice shine but doesn't make it sticky or anything like can happen with some cleaners. I used it to help my mum clean the kitchen and it was brill because it took all the hard work out of it and left the surfaces sparkling clean. This Flash is even good on greasy areas because I did the cooker after I'd used the frying pan and it got rid of all the greasy mess straight away. I used it on the kitchen sink as well and that came up proper clean even though my dad is always pouring tea into the sink and getting it stained with them horrible brown stains. I used it in the bathroom as well and it got the skirting boards and sink and toilet up clean with hardly and scrubbing and left the room smelling fresh and dead clean. I liked how shiny it made the bathroom sink and how easy it got rid of the make up and toothpaste marks that are always left in there. I'll definitely buy this again because it's a wicked smell and made cleaning the house quick and easy.
This is absolutely one of my favourite cleaning products, it usually costs around £1.50 for a 500ml bottle, which is pretty standard compared to other alternative products. I just love the smell of this product, the combination of lavendar and camomile is gorgeous, it's a smell that always makes me feel really relaxed - it must be the camomile! It's the type of smell, that unlike many cleaning products you like your kitchen to smell of after you have finished cleaning. The product itself is of course lavendar coloured, it is suitable for use on most non-porous surfaces and as a multi-surface product you can use it anywhere in the house. I often use it in the bathroom if I'm just cleaning quickly and it is just as effective as using a specialised bathroom cleaning product. I usually do use this product in the kitchen though and I find that it cleans even through fairly tough stains like those on the hob quite easily and leaves all surfaces shiny and smear free, which is important as I hate to clean up mess and then have to then clean up the smeary marks made by cleaning With a fantastic smell, great colour, effective cleaning and a reasonable price whats there not to like about this?
This product is very easy to get hold off- I have seen it in every supermarket I have been in and some if the discount stores although this may be a local thing. The one I bought was a 500l bottle for around £1.25 although you can get it in bigger bottles- which I have now purchased. It comes in a spray bottle with a green coloured sprayer and a clear plastic bottle with a lavender (surprise!) colour liquid inside. Firstly the smell is divine, not one I can describe as such just to say its a lovely home smell, clean but not a chemical type smell, as if you have not cleaned at all. However then you look at your surfaces etc and are amazed, my black worktops in the kitchen come up a dream, it works well on all sorts of sticky messes (picture a toddler and his fingers!!). It also works well on upvc window frames etc, removes the grime and it takes them longer to get mucky. I do now have the floor cleaner and just dilute some and fill a spray bottle as it works out cheaper and what it does to the floor is nothing short of a miracle. I have black floor tiles and they are always needing to be cleaned normally within half an hour of them being mopped but not with this it seems to keep them cleaner for longer. It not only cuts through the grime and grease but brings a lovely sheen to them without making them slippy at all. Another quick thing it works so so well on garden furniture too.
I decided to buy this product because having cats means there is a lot of harmful products around and unfortunately they are like kids and you can't watch them every second of the day. So it had to be something that dries quickly. For a 500ml bottle this costs about £1.59 in most supermarkets. I actually got mine on offer for £0.99 and love it. The bottle - well it 's just like all other spray bottles of flash, white plastic with a green lid/trigger spray top. It has a white label on the front with the original Flash logo and Multi Surface underneath. On the back the label is blue and white, it gives you instructions on how to use product, ingredients and how to contact the company. The liquid in the bottle is purple and it's very clear through the plastic so easy not to mix it up with other flash products. The Ingredients - Aqua C9-11 Pareth-3 Sodium Cumenesulfonate Sodium Carbonate Sodium Diethylenetriamine Pentamethylene Phosphonate PARFUM Sodium Palm Kernelate Sodium Dodecylbenzenesulfonate Sodium Citrate Acrylic acid diquat copolymer Dipropylene Glycol Lauramine Oxide Benzisothiazolinone Butoxydiglycol Sodium Hydroxide Colorant Colorant Butylphenyl Methylpropional It doesn't show all these ingredients on the back but does have the website on the label so you can go and look at all ingredients - www.info-pg.com. This site also shows a lot of other items as well. It's actually quite a nice smell for a cleaner, it does have a hint of lavender but not over-powering. But the main smell does smell like most other flash products, but does make your surfaces smell fresh and clean. It states on the back to spray surface until thoroughly covered then wipe of with a dry or damp cloth and for more soiled areas to leave on for 2 minutes. I actually rather leaving it on surface for a couple of minutes before wiping anyway whether surface has tougher soils or just crumbs just to give it time to work. It is easy to use but I do tend to use a lot when spraying the surfaces. I would advise not to use too much because if there's too much it can make the worktops feel almost slimy and take ages to dry. With the right amount the worktops dry quickly and do leave them feeling very clean. Definately a good product and would recommend using it for all areas. Even in your bathroom.
I first started using Flash Multi Surface Spray after the birth of my first child. I'm sure most of you know how much mess children makes and I wanted a product that would clean grimy mess, smell nice, contain anti bacterial agent and be safe to use on my baby's highchair. After trying several products that I wasn't happy with I came across this product and fell in love instantly. This product claims to kill 99.99% of bacteria which is very usefull with small children around. It's fantastic at cleaning all surfaces even stubborn stains and it leaves the surface gleaming every time. It is very easy to use as it comes with a pump trigger and a little goes a very long way. It has a very nice smell especially the lavender and camomile which is my personal favourite, it's not over powering but you can clearly smell the fresh, clean scent in the air after you ahve used it. I use it on all my kitchen worktops, taps, shower screen and cooker and it does a fantastic job at cleaning them all. It truly deserves the title multi surface as it can clean almost anything. It is competatively priced for the cleaning spray market and as so little does so much it goes a long, long way. So pick this up and get scrubbing, your surfaces will never be so clean!
Wow What can I say about this product apart from it being a MUST in any home! ive always used various products around my home, I had seen the Flash Lavender and Camomile in stores before but A neighbour put me off lavender products as she said they smell like old biscuits but the lovely purple colour draws you towards it (purple is my fav colour) lol. I seen it on offer one day and i decided well it's worth a try if i dont like it then nothing lost as it was on offer, I have never looked back at all those other over powering smelly cleaing products! not only is it a lovely colour it smells lush! Flash is a superb cleaning product and very easy to use spray on the area needed and wipe with a damp or dry cloth and also can be used with cold water, It has the Active flashguard barrier which is a prevention of tough stains and always brill results , The smell is very refreshing which masks the horrible smell from some leading brands which doesnt fade too quick the smell lasts for a while, if you have sensitive or damaged skin they advise you not to have prolonged contact with the product but if it was me i'd just buy rubber gloves as this cleaning material is fantastic!, it is safe enough to use on any surface in any room although if it has a painted surface it is advised to try it on a hidden area first incase it takes the paintwork off. it comes in 500ml spray bottles and refill bottles, It was voted Product of the year in 2008 Winner in the household cleaning category, which alone sounds promising without having reviews on it. It's made by a company called Proctor & Gamble who is a well known company who also make other well known products like, Febreze, Fairy, Duracell batteries, Pampers, Kandoo, Gillette even Boss and lacoste fragrances only to mention a few well known products, I would recommend flash lavender and camomile to anyone and everyone that knows me know I have an addiction to buying it! i have 2 bottle in my house at the moment I dont only use it for cleaning, After ive hoovered my home I have a bottle thats been diluted with water and once I've finished hoovering I go around the house and spray ALL my carpets curtains etc with it it makes the house smell so fresh! esp as I have a dog in my home it gets rid of doggy smells I stay in a block of flats and once i've sprayed my house with it anyone who comes into the block can smell it as soon as they walk through the door at the bottom it even left the block smelling lovely and I'm 3rd floor up! lol in my opinion I would recommend this amazing product to ANYONE it is a must in everyones house
I picked a bottle of this up a while ago as it was on special offer at the time and I have never looked back. It has the usual great cleaning action of Flash with the added bonus of not smelling to chemically. My hubby used to hate using the kitchen after it had just been cleaned as other cleaning products would smell so strong that they would make him gag. This has a pleasent Lavender & Camomile fragrance without being overpowering it disguises the chemical smells you normally get from cleaning products. Flash have also recently introduced their 'Flashguard' ingredients which are supposed to help stop grime sticking after you have used it to make cleaning next time easier. I can't say that I have noticed a vast difference in stuff sticking to my tiles and work surfaces but then I have always found Flash products to be good at removing grime anyway. It comes in a trigger spray bottle and is normally a 500ml bottle, at Tesco this costs £1.58. The liquid is a lavender colour.
