“ Brand: Dettol / Type: Household Cleaner / Category: Cleaning & Disinfectant „
After having a really good experience using other Dettol products recently when I saw this Multi-Purpose, Anti-Bacterial Cleaner I couldn't wait to try it out. Dettol is from a brand that I trust and I liked the idea of a product that would buff up the house I'm staying in at the moment and it coming in a trigger action bottle! The Packaging: Dark blue but still see through plastic bottle that contains 500ml of product and like I have just mentioned it comes with a trigger action dispenser to the top of it and on that it has a piece of plastic so that you can turn it 'on/off' so safe....it is. On the front label I am told that it is Best Ever Clean, Dettol Anti-Bacterial Multi-Action Cleaner and that it kills 99.9% of bacteria, that it is an all in 1 product and that it cuts through grease, removes soap scum, leaves a visible shine and possesses an Atlantic Fresh fragrance. On the label on the back of the bottle other information listed includes being told a bit more about the product and how to use it, warnings are listed, the size is stated (as I've told you already) and contact details for Reckitt Benchiser are given (the manufacturer of the product). It's a nice bottle, easy to handle due to a curved shape to the top of it and it's all informative enough of course. A Bit About The Product According To The Information Given On The Back Of The Bottle: Powers through kitchen grease Tough on bathroom soap scum and limescale Leaves a visible shine Kills 99.9% of bacteria, such as E.Coli Leaves a fresh fragrance Me Using It: Well all you do with this is simply spray where you want to clean and then you wipe it away. On more stubborn stains and grease etc you can spray this and leave it on as long as you desire then go back and wipe if you feel the need to do so. This is once again a terrific product from Dettol. Easy to spray because it sprays out wet and evenly, it has no colour and is none greasy. It does have a fresh sort of blue/sea fresh fragrance to it and it's lovely and not too heavy or faked or anything like that. I have used this all over my mates home. Used it in the kitchen to wipe down surfaces after cooking, buffed up a dirty cooker hob, wiped down tiles and the fronts of cupboards and it really does make cleaning a breeze. It tackles dirt and scum with ease and it hates grease and busts through that too! It does leave a lovely fresh scent too, leaves no residue or taste behind it (meaning on worktops when they have been cleaned with this lol) and does leave a clean look and feel, instilling confidence and leaving a nice and subtle shine on things. This is great to wipe down a toilet with and really does combat soap scum marks around sinks and toilets too. I have wiped bins with this and just really found it a nifty product to use pretty much anywhere I want to. On harder to tackle grease, dirt and grime I simply spray the area and go back to it and again I've had no issues with this at all. The only place I won't use it is near fabrics just in case it makes them run and on mirrors and glass as it isn't really designed for that. All round though an excellent cleaning product that fulfils it's promises and leaves a wonderful lasting clean and fresh scent in the home that I wholeheartedly approve of and will purchase this time and time again in the future without hesitation! I paid £1.52 in Asda for this product though it is readily available in most good supermarkets and expect to pay about £2.00 a bottle for it if it's not on offer!
When I look for my next cleaning product for whatever task is at hand I always look for the trusted sword symbol that comes with Dettol products, you can simply never go wrong with Dettol and the Dettol multi action all in one Atlantic fresh is another great product from Dettol. This is an all in one cleaner that will tackle all types of cleaning jobs and do all of them very well whilst protecting against germs and smelling lovely, the people at Dettol tell us it cuts through grease (which it does), removes soap scum (which it does), leaves a visible shine (which it does) and kills 99.9% of known germs and bacteria (which I have no reason to doubt)! A 500ml bottle lasts me about 5 weeks and costs between £1.55 and £1.78 depending on which store you purchase it from, the scent is a strong but pleasant one and it dies down quickly after using to leave just a very clean and fresh aroma as well as the clean and shiny look. In my opinion this is a great multi surface cleaner which I have used on many items and all with great success, I have wiped down greasy finger prints that my grand kids have left on my paintwork, cleaned the bath and sinks with it, wiped down worktops and even used it to clean hubby`s mucky shoes after he had been in the garden and it worked a treat on everything. There are cheaper cleaners out there but for the extra 30p or so this is the one to have, it is a great household cleaner and it leaves a very reassuring fresh smell too.
I am a bit of a germ-a-phobic, I blame my job, so Dettol is a name I know and trust. When Dettol bring out a product sooner or later it will find it's way into our utility room. Dettol Multi Action All in 1 Atlantic Fresh is a must for kitchen cleaning, particularly as handwashing is not as thorough as it need to be for infection control in the home. With the various strains of flu and other types of infection doing the rounds, germs are spread by through touch in many cases. Cleaning with Dettol Multi Action All in 1 Atlantic Fresh kills almost 100% of bacteria on the surfaces we touch in the kitchen. This product leaves all hard surfaces sparkling clean and your whole kitchen smelling welcoming and fresh. You can always have confidence in the Dettol brand. When my sister's house was struck by this years dreaded lurgy, she went through the kitchen like a dose of salts using this product coupled with other Dettol products for the bathroom and sickroom. I firmly believe that this prevented the spread to other members of he family living in the house at the same time.
I am a self confessed fan of the multi purpose Stardrops but on the odd occasion i have had a bottle of the dettol all in one spray and i think that it reminds me of my childhood and i find it a comfortating thing to use, strange though that sounds and thankfully the scent has improved and its no longer limited to pine!. The all in one bottle comes in a plastic bottle usually 500ml volume and can be bought in most supermarkets, it cost aprrox £2.50 although i have found that it is on offer quite often in supermarkets. The main selling point of the all in one and in fact most dettol products is that it kills 99.9% of bacteria such as E. Coli, although not the swine flu virus as i overheard one shopper asking. It also comes with a choice of scents including my favorite pink grapefruit, apple and many others, i have to say that i can smell it for a few hours after using it so if you do not like products with a lingering smell then it's prehaps not for you. I find it best to use in my kitchen or bathroom as it makes light work of kitchen mess and brings my stainless steel hob up beautifully, and leaves a fab shine on my bathroom suite. There is quite a few places where you can not use it such as marble, stone, natural wood, enamel and brass. It also recommends that it is not used on eating utensils, plates or glass. If you wanted to use it on more surfaces then the multi surface is a better choice as this can used on surfaces that you eat off.
I'm far from a cleaning lover but when I do get down to cleaning I put alot of effort into and love everything smelling chemically fresh - sort of lol. I've always liked Dettol after being introduced to it when I was younger - no matter what product I seen my mum using I was always impressed with the clean and refreshing smell it had. When I seen Dettol All In 1 Multi-Action Cleaner I decided to try it and give my kitchen a good clean. This comes in a see through plastic bottle with a gun trigger spray at the top so quite a convenient product to use. The spray can be stopped just by turning the nozzle at the front of the lid - this is good in case any young children do manage to get hold of it as it prevents them from spraying and causing any damage. This can bought in a few different fragrances and this one I have is Atlantic Fresh - each fragrance holds a different coloured liquid inside. You can see the liquid inside which is a lovely blue colour. The bottle is quite busy and full of information about this product. It apparently kills 99.9% of bacteria - well this is what I needed in a kitchen to keep it hygienic and clean. The All in 1 aspect means it can; Cut through grease Remove soap scum Leave a visible shine Atlantic fresh fragrance Although I bought it to use in my kitchen it does say on the back of the bottle you can use it in the bathroom as well. It is not suitable for all surfaces however and on the back of the bottle you are provided with a list of surfaces it is not suitable to use on. I first used this the other day on my hob, I had cooked stew the night before and it had bubbled over quite a bit leaving some unruly stains which I could see were quite tough and thick. I sprayed the blue liquid over liberally and left it for a minute at the most. I wiped my sponge over and was immediately impressed by the fact that it did pick up and wipe away these tough stewy stains. Not only did it wipe away these nasty stains instantly but it did leave a fresh scent - nothing to overpowering or strong - instead a refreshing just cleaned fragrance which wouldn't offend anybody. I have used this to clean my whole kitchen and I'm confident that it leaves everything cleansed - on top of that my kitchen smells beautifully fresh .. it is not your typical over the top nose twitching chemical smell it is very refreshing and clean. The liquid soaks up well into sponges and cloths that I use and leaves no stains or drips anywhere but it does leave my kitchen looking shiny and sparkling clean. The fragrance lingers for a good while too which is brilliant especially if you have guests coming over - it is a very welcoming scent and would smell a treat to any visitor walking through your door. Overall I'm very impressed with this product - not only does it tackle my stains on my kitchen worktops and hob but it leaves a fresh fragrance too which I think is lovely. I have used it in my bathroom - and it has, with a good scrub, wiped away some tough dirt. It has made some cleaning easier as some stains can be quite difficult to get rid of - this does the hardwork for you within a minute I'd say and really lifts and loosens them for you to wipe away so effortlessly.
l suspect that like most older people I have learned to trust 'the sword' which represents all dettol products & have always trusted them. I don't tend to buy many cleaning products as I use a polti steamer on a regular basis. obviously though there are many occasions when it isn't practical to use a heavy steamer, wait for it to heat up & use electricity etc which is when I reach for my dettol all-in-one. price ~ £1.59 for a 500 ml bottle which will last me about 6-7 weeks? packaging ~ It's a cleverly designed trigger bottle which is comfortable to hold as it contours the hand and the squeeze action is easy to control so you don't waste the product. theere are clear instructions on how to use, where it's suitable to use, where it's not advisable to use plus precautions etc it also provides a website for advice/ comments - very reassuring when manufactureres do this even though I've never heard of anyone using these? the product ~ easy to use good consistency - not too watery or too thick the smell is a bit strong but at least folk know when you've been cleaning! I've also used the 'green apple' but really don't like the smell of that. product claims ~ cuts grease removes soap scum leaves a visible shine kills 99.9% of bacteria ~ does it work? ~ in my opinion - yes! I used it to clean worktops, sinks & washing-up bowl & other minor jobs in the kitchen I tried it on the really ground-in grease on the tiles behind the cooker & it worked a treat - it even tackled the grease on the cooker hood - so well pleased it could deal with heavy jobs! I then used it in the bathroom to clean the washbasin, shower, bath, loo etc - great results once again I also used a little for the paintwork & it continued to do its job my worst job is cleaning up leftover pets' food - dettol tackled this well summary ~ not the cheapest on the market worked well on everything I tried strong smell would use again would recommend to others
I am definitely not one of those people who love cleaning although I do like it when the house is clean. I just don't want to have to spend a long time getting it into a pristine state! This is why I am always attracted to cleaning products that state they are multi-action implying that they will do all the things I need them to! One such product which I bought recently is the Dettol Multi Action All in 1 Atlantic Fresh. I really bought it for use in the kitchen but it says on the container that you can use it in the bathroom too which I am going to try. It comes in a plastic bottle with a spray. It's very easy to use and the spray can be turned off when you are not using it which is helpful if your little ones are likely to mistake it for a toy! They will find it quite difficult to turn the nozzle to on. It claims quite a lot of different things on the label and in particular that it is the best ever clean and that it kills 99.9% of bacteria. That sounds pretty good to me although there's no way I can prove it in my kitchen! It is made by Dettol though so I suspect this claim is true. It has a very fresh fragrance which I really like. It's not too strong but definitely does provide that just cleaned smell - fantastic for when my mother in law is coming to visit! This product claims to cut grease, remove soap scum and leave a visible shine. Well, I have two very problematic areas in my kitchen which, probably like most people, are the hob and the sink. Both are white so all dirt and stains visibly show up all the time. So first let's talk about how it works on my hob. I sprayed it quite liberally and just allowed it to soak up all the spills for a few minutes. I then used a damp sponge to mop it all up and I was really impressed by how easily all the spills and stains lifted. I really didn't need to put any effort in at all it was that easy. It even seems to be starting to have an impact on some of the ingrained stains although I expect it will take a while to really remove them. My hob is also shining nicely with that just cleaned look. I'm really pleased! Next on to the sink then! I targeted the scum left by the water level as well as giving a good spray all over. Again I left all this to settle for a couple of minutes and then used the sponge again. This worked just as well with the scum marks coming away very easily and the rest of the sink looking pretty clean. I'll definitely be using this on a regular basis! I do use it on all the worktops as well and feel confident now that these are both safe and clean. Overall it's done a great job in the kitchen without any scrubbing and elbow grease from me. Unfortunately it's not suitable for all surfaces including marble, stone surfaces and natural wood. You should read the entire list before reading because you never know what damage it could do on the wrong surface. There are all the usual warnings about keeping out of the reach of children and avoiding eye contact which you obviously would try to avoid with any cleaning product. It's fairly reasonably priced too as it is on sale in Sainsburys for only £1.98 for a 500 ml spray bottle. I think that's good value as one of these can easily last a couple of months. I really do recommend it!
Cuts kitchen grease and removes soap scum / Leaves a visible shine and a fresh clean fragrance.
