“ Brand: Argos / Type: Photo frame „
We seem to have a large number of unused photo frames in our house at any one time, however when we received some Argos vouchers as a wedding gift, we spotted this slightly different looking frame which we thought would be ideal to put some wedding and honeymoon photos in. The frame is currently priced at £19.98 on the Argos website, which is what we paid for it at the time and a reasonable price for the quality.
The frame is rectangular and measures 91.5cm high, 21.5cm wide and 1.5cm deep. This makes it a nice feature on a wall with it being long and thin. We have ours in the bedroom above a chest of drawers and it brings a focus to what was previously a blank wall. The frame holds 8 photos, and rather than all being positioned in line with one another, the glass bits are positioned towards the edge of the frame either to the left or right of centre in alternating positions. This makes it a slightly more interesting way to display your photos.
The frame is oak coloured, and looks really good quality rather than being cheap and nasty. We have a couple of different wood finishes in the bedroom, but this doesn't stand out as being different as it seems to blend in quite well with our colour scheme being a fairly neutral colour. The grain of the wood is horizontal and makes the wood look authentic and natural.
The frame has hooks built in to the top and bottom, to help you hang it and keep it in a secure position, and the fact the hooks are attached makes it easy to hang this frame. To put the pictures in the frame the back of the frame comes off in one piece, and this allows you to slot the pictures into the grooves for each bit of glass. As there are grooves to help guide the pictures into place, I've never had any problems with photos slipping or moving.
To clean the frame I use a feather duster, and I can't say I've noticed the frame attracting any more dust than other furniture. I think this frame is a lovely way to display photos, and is well worth the price as it's a good quality frame.
