Thinking of going to Dublin, well I can recomend the Sunnybank Hotel most definately....it's more of a pub than a hotel....in Dublin this is quite important as ya will find all the other pubs way way to busy....and thats during the week hard ta get a sitting position...and the weekends well what can I say...you may find yourself standing outside with a drink in your hand....The accomodation its self is clean comfortable ensuite facilities...serves meals in the lounge area, it also has a chinese restaurant selling good quality food at reasonable prices...This hotel is situated near the botanic gardens, only a short bus ride away from the city centre....ideal position really, and if ya walk up the small lane at the left hand side of the hotel you will come to a pub called the Gravediggers...this pub has'nt changed since the day it was opened...long long time ago...quite unique...like going back in time...and a great pint of guiness....The rates for a room is reasonable too I got it for £25 Irish pounds per night b&b which is excellent.....and ya get a lock in every night drink till ya drop....on this note i must add it caters for families too.....only kids are not allowed in the bar area's after 7pm...They put on live entertainment at the weekend, and have in promptu singsongs during the week.....Big screen tv in the lounge area....as well as tv's in the rooms of course think they had satelite but alas i was never sober enough ta watch tv.....
