      Great Value For Money

Myself, my partner and my son stayed at The Premier Inn, Coventry, Binley/A46 for one night during August 2010.
I booked a family room, via The Premier Inn website at a cost of £58 per room. The website was easy to navigate and the booking process was swift.
(There are deals available for those wishing to stay more than two night eg £29 per room, per night booked in advance).

We chose the Premier Inn as a stop over point en route from Legoland as it is very close to the motorway. An additional selling point was the on site TGI Fridays - we envisaged a late arrival and knew we would be able to seek out a late evening meal.
Unfortunately our TGI Friday experience was not favourable and I would advise strongly against eating here (see my earlier review).

The Premier Inn has ample free parking, cars can be parked outside your room (if you can be bothered to move your car once you have found out your room number!).
The Inn is not a new build and appears quite dated on entering the small reception area. The receptionist however more than made up for that, very friendly and polite and in hindsight, I think she was trying to warn us off TGI Fridays - saying that it could get a little rowdy and if we wanted to eat in more tranquil surroundings, we should try the pub round the corner (I think it was called The Cocked Hat - two for one meals apparently!).

Once my son had been given his 'goody bag' (a Premier Inn bag containing colouring book, crayons etc) we were directed to our room.
We actually had a key - as opposed to a key card.
The room was very clean and functional, with a large double bed and sofa. The sofa had been made up into a single bed for my son. The room was decorated in the purple and white colour scheme we have come to associate with The Premier Inn Chain. The en-suite bathroom was sizeable, once again slightly dated but very clean.

Our room had a tv (old style - not flat screen), showing a limited range of satellite channels and tea & coffee making facilities (these could be replenished at reception).
TGI Friday had also strategically placed their menus.
For those choosing breakfast, this is served in TGI's. We cancelled our reservation after eating there - once again the receptionist was extremely helpful.

We had a great nights sleep, the beds were very comfortable and despite being so close to the road, very little traffic noise was evident.
Unfortunately my son became poorly at around 4am, so I didn't get much sleep after that.
In the morning I went to reception to explain about the soiled sheets - it was the same receptionist, just how many hours does she work??!!
She was very sympathetic, offering us a late check out and another goody bag! She also offered biscuits but I didn't think that was appropriate under the circumstances!

Overall, our stay was comfortable, marred only by my sons nocturnal activities.
I would definitely stay here again and found customer service second to none.
