Disgusted with this company, turned down a booking for 26 people incase they got busy !!!! you would think in these present times, they would bite your hand off for business..........
As part of the hungry horse chain of restaurants, Kirkcaldy`s Chapel home farm is a good place to take the family for a meal. It has a play area for the kids which is free if you are eating there, as well as the indoor play area there is also a very nice park outside the building should you get good weather.
The food served is always of very high standards and I can honestly say I have never had a bad meal or even a poor meal in my years of eating there. At busy times the service can become dreadfully slow but if you avoid the really busy times such as lunch time Thursday and Friday and Sunday afternoons then you will get good service to go with your good food.
The prices are very reasonable though not cheap, we have a three course meal for two adults and a main course and a sweet for two kids with drinks and always get change out of £40 which is very decent in my opinion!
You can also book Christmas parties and birthday parties at the restaurant and if you book a kids party they get exclusive use of the play area during their 90 minutes party time.
I would recommend that anyone in the Kirkcaldy are give the Chapel home farm a try, it is near the road out of Kirkcaldy that leads to the Forth bridges and Edinburgh and it is well sign posted throughout the top end of Kirkcaldy.
