      internet booking for best prices

There are a range of hotels in Siam Reap close to where the famous and awe inspiring Angkhor Wat is positioned. As you approach the city from the airport there are a range of 'samey' hotels geered mainly towards Korean travellers. I recommend you head for a hotel in the centre of town where there is more variety and more charisma. The finest of all hotels is the de la Paix. Expensive but fantastic design. If it is above your price range then go for lunch or dinner at least. The Prince D'angkor is a good midrange hotel where there are deals to be had through internet booking. A large swimming pool and delicious breakfast buffet as well as comfortable and clean rooms, is enough to provide the tired and hot traveller the comforts they need after a day at the temples. Hostels are more basic and real value for money - be sure to tip generously for the fine service you will receive in any of the hotels you choose to stay.
