An over-the-counter verruca treatment that doesn't work for everyone.

      INTRODUCTION

After years of swimming and participating in Tai Chi classes barefoot, the inevitable happened and I started getting verrucas on the balls of both feet. Only one at a time, mind, but they kept coming back! After getting fed up with waiting ages for an appointment to have them 'frozen' at the doctor's surgery (a successful treatment but painful and very inconvenient), I decided to take matters into my own hands and try Bazuka.

      PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Bazuka have a range of products that promise to "Bazuka that verruca" and I've tried several, including this extra-strength variant. Whilst the 'regular' strength Bazuka (colour coded blue packaging) contains 12% salicylic acid, the extra-strength product contains more than double, at 26%. Salicylic acid is the active ingredient that, it is claimed, will remove the tissue infected with the verruca virus.

The product is gel comes in a white plastic tube with a yellow screw-top lid. At first use, the tube is pierced by removing a small plastic collar and screwing the cap down so that the small point within the cap pierces the tube. The affected area is washed and dried, and then a small drop of the product is dabbed on the verucca. It is important not to get product on the surrounding healthy tissue as the salicylic acid is an irritant. After a few moments the gel dries to form a white cap which is then left over the verruca for 24 hours when the cap is peeled off and the application process is repeated. The verucca must also be filed regularly to remove the affected skin growth as the acid kills it off.

This is a pharmacy-only product and costs around £5 from Boots and other pharmacies I've visited. There are extensive warnings about usage of this product, and it's lack of suitablility for people with diabetes and other conditions, so, as with any medicine, please read the patient information leaflet carefully before use!

      USER EXPERIENCE

The patient information leaflet warns that verrucas may need to be treated for up to twelve weeks before they're finally killed off, so I was prepared for the long haul. I followed the patient information leaflet procedure carefully and applied the product as directed. The skin around the verruca was sore after the first application, but I bore it no mind as I knew the product contained a potential irritant. However, the soreness continued, and I found I couldn't use the product for more than two weeks before the surrounding tissue (which I had taken care to protect from the gel) got extremely sore and inflamed, with no apparent reduction in the size of the verruca. I stopped treatment. After the skin had healed and, still determined to get rid of my dratted verruca, I tried the regular strength Bazuka variant, but had the same result.

After these brief periods of treatment my verruca was no better, so, fed up with the expense and discomfort of the treatments, I decided to leave it be.

It was a podiatrist who eventually put me onto a treatment that worked: a small piece of duct tape applied over the verruca apparently starves it of oxygen and eventually kills it! I tried her suggestion, and it worked beautifully! It took a lot of persistance - I had to reapply a little square of duct tape over the verruca every night for three or four months - but it worked. No inflammation, no hassle, and a cheap, easy solution.

      CONCLUSION

Reading through other reviews of this product I see many people have had success with Bazuka Extra-Strength, but it didn't work for me. Perhaps because I have sensitive skin, perhaps because I have an allergy to one or more of the ingredients. My only advice would be if you start having a reaction like mine, stop using the product and seek professional advice!

I haven't had verrucas for several years now, and fingers' crossed, I'll never get them again. But if I do, I won't be buying this product.

      Advantages

      Disadvantages

Works a treat on verrucas and warts.

I've suffered a few verrucas over the last few years. Mainly picked up from swimming pools and football/gym showers where I spend a lot of my time, they are a bit of a hassle to deal with unless you have Bazuka gel handy! Bazuka gel can be used for verrucas and warts, however I've never been a wart sufferer. The tube costs around a fiver and should last you a very long time unless you are a serial sufferer!

Bazuka gel is to be used once daily applied directly on the verruca. You have to wait for a few minutes to dry but once it has it creates a solid barrier around the verruca. This takes away the need to use plasters, and prevents germs getting near the verruca as well as no further risk of spreading veruccas should go anywhere with one. The Bazuka cream is waterproof, however I wouldn't recommend submersing it for long as chlorine is a pool does tend to wash it away.

The cream is so easy to use and once on you can forget about your verruca for the day. The cream is always successful at ridding your feet of the verrucas quickly with minimal fuss, no need for a trip to the doctors!

The Bazuka cream works as it contains the ingredient salicylic acid which works to kill the virus causing the verruca. It softens the hard skin growth which then makes it easier to remove using an emory board or pumice stone, or if you are like me you just pick it like crazy when it appears dead and gone (wouldn't recommend this technique!)

Would recommend this as the one and only treatment for veruccas or warts. It's hassle free use and its ability to rid of the growths is unrivalled to anything you can buy over the counter from a pharmacy. A 5 star product.

      Verruca gel

      ***

An earlier review, of freeze treatment, recounted the tale my verruca woes. After reading some of the comments made on said review and a visit to the doctor, I decided to give verruca gel another go.

Bazuka was a gel I had previously tried, though truth be told, the tube was a couple of years old. So this time I opted to purchase a brand new tube of the extra strength stuff for just under £5 in Boots, and to follow the instructions provided to a tee.

Along with the gel tube, an emery board and instruction booklet are provided. Do ensure that there is actually a tub of gel in the box, before you walk out of the store, as I managed to buy a box with just the instructions and emery board inside, luckily I was given a refund the next day and proceeded to buy a box which did have the gel inside.

The gel was contained in a small tube, with a pointy nozzle in order that only pea sized amounts can be squeezed out onto the verruca. The nozzle has a screw on lid, which gets more and more difficult to remove after days of use of the gel, as it hardens around the nozzle and inside of the lid, so it is best to keep some tissue or wet wipes at hand to clean the nozzle after each use. Sometimes this is difficult as the gel involuntarily keeps coming out.

My foot has one big verruca and two little ones, referred to as the brother and sister by my doctor. My foot has been home to the verruca family for the past three years at the very least, possibly longer. Having tried various treatments, my last resort was the doctor, who brought in a can of freeze and froze all three verrucas over and over again, however she stated that freeze treatment is not the best treatment as each verruca would have to be frozen at least a thousand times before they fall off, she then advised to start the bazuka treatment, keep at it each day and cover it with duct tape every time.

The gel itself is a clear colour, not particularly thick but not as liquid as water. It is cool when applied, but does not hurt. The gel takes a long time to dry, so you do not want to be walking around once the gel has been applied, otherwise it just gets squished, therefore the best time for application is at night. The gel turns an off whitish colour, and by the following morning is white. The instructions say to pick off the gel the next day when it is hard, and to keep doing this each day. This part can hurt sometimes. The goal is to eventually get deeper under the skin and either pull out or have the verruca fall out. The emery board is to be used once every week on the treated verrucas. It scrapes away the hardened skin on the verruca and also makes it a bit easier when picking off the verruca. This part does not hurt.

As I did not have duct tape, I used plasters as suggested by some reviewers on my freeze treatment review. I also tried using sellotape, unfortunately my foot got too sweaty and the sellotape just slid off after a while.

After around four weeks the baby brother and sister had come off completely. The bigger verruca took about eleven to twelve weeks to be removed. I felt happy and free, or rather my foot did. This happiness did not last long, as the area where big verruca had set up camp started to grow black spots again. Soon after, baby brother and sister began to make a faint appearance. Their souls lingering on.

Another round of bazuka was in need. This time after around a week they disappeared, and another week later they reappeared.

Sadly bazuka has not helped clear my verruca problem, though this may not be entirely bazuka's fault, it seems clear that there is something wrong with my foot and another trip to the doctor's is a necessity. I will therefore award three stars to Bazuka.

      Disadvantages

      Bazuka gel

      Bazuka that verruca

Touch wood I have not had a verruca for a while now but when I was swimming regularly I caught one now and again and they are really unpleasant. So, what exactly is a verruca? Well according to an article I read, "A plantar wart (also known as "Verruca plantaris") is a wart caused by the human papillomavirus occurring on the sole or toes of the foot. The verrucas I used to get were quite small but they were quite deep into the foot so when I walked on them they were really quite painful. I could feel like I was walking on a little stone or something but if you moved your foot in a funny way it almost pulled at the verruca and made it hurt and bleed a little bit.

The treatment I used was bazuka gel as thats really the only treatment I was aware of. They obviously did their marketing quite well as all I can remember from their television advertisements was bazuka that verucca so when the time came to look for a treatment to get rid of the verrucas the first one I went to was Bazuka.

Bazuka gel contains salicylic acid which softens the hard skin growth so it's easier to remove and it also helps kill the virus that causes verrucas so fingers crossed they will not come back as much and to be honest I haven't suffered with one for a while so it must be working.

This gel is very easy to use. Basically you just squeeze the gel out of the tube and apply it over the verrucas, you don't need very much to coat it and then you just leave it to dry. It forms a sort of little barrier that you can see and this is waterproof as well. I like to apply it overnight so I can just put socks on and don't have to worry about it. I can't quite remember how long I had to treat my last verruca but I do know it was within the recommended treatment stage as I did not need to seek further medical advice as it cleared up nicely. The verruca sort of soften and eventually I was able to pick it out, it was rather disgusting, it left a little hole in the bottom of my foot where it had been.

5g of this gel costs £6.99 and is a treatment I recommend.

One of my grandchildren had a verruca on his foot. It was quite sore to walk on and it meant he could not go swimming with the rest of the school and he loves swimming. My daughter asked me to have a look and see if I could get something for him up the chemist when I was going up the town so I remembered Bazuka from when my own kids were younger and thought I would get some of that.

The packet I bought is a bright yellow cardboard box so it really sticks out well on the shelf in the shop. It cost me £6.99 in Boots and I checked the packaging to make sure it was suitable for children as well as adults. The packaging says this in an Extra Strength gel and it has the active ingredient called Salicylic Acid.

When I got back to my daughter's she opened the packaging and there was a small tube inside which is white in colour and has a yellow lid and looks a bit like a tube of super glue. What you have to do is wash the area first and make sure it is properly dry and then apply a thin coating of the gel which should be one or two drops of it, over the surface of the verruca and allow it to dry before treading on it. You need to do this every night and you don't need to stick anything over the top as it is water-resistant. My daughter kept doing this for about 5 days and then the whole thing seemed to peel itself off the skin and the verruca seemed to come away with it.

I don't understand how it works but it seemed to do the job and the verruca didn't come back again and he is now able to join in with the swimming again.

You can use this for warts too but I don't know anyone who has tried it on a wart before. It does tell you not to get it on any other part of the skin or it may become irritable so you have to be careful the drop goes where you want it to go. This is quite easy to do though as the nozzle of the tube is very thin and you can direct it easily.

I would recommend this gel for any verrucas you or your family may catch but here's hoping you never do.

        Advantages

        Disadvantages

        Recommended.

My daughter swims and, as a result, she is prone to picking up verrucas on a fairly frequent basis. As a result, we always have a supply of Bazuka Extra Strength Gel in the house so that we can start treatment as soon as one of the ugly blighters rears their ugly little head. I have to admit that I usually go for Bazuka Gel because it is the most easily available and because it's the one that always comes to mind because of the catchphrase "Bazuka that Verruka!". I usually pick up a 5g tube of the gel from Boots for around £7.00 - which isn't particularly cheap if you just have a one off verruca, but if there is a recurring problem then the cost isn't so bad.

The gel comes in a small metal tube which is sealed for safety reasons. It comes in a box which also encloses a patient information leaflet and a mini emery board. The patient information leaflet is comprehensive and includes instructions, warnings, side effects etc and the instruction are clear and very easy to follow.

Using the gel is easy. If necessary, you need to file down the verruca with the enclosed emery board.....but you only need to do this is the verruca is very hard. I usually find with my daughter that we don't need to use the emery board and just go straight to the gel application. Using the gel applicator, I apply just a tiny amount to the verruca's head (about a pin head is enough) and then spread it around the verrucas' area. My daughter tells me that the initial sensation is quite refreshing more than anything else. A crust then forms over the verruca which has to stay in place for the next 5 - 7 days. After 5 - 7 days, you need to peel off the crust - and then reapply the gel to the verruca - and let it re-scab again. I usually find that two applications is enough to do the trick.

The side effects appear to be pretty minimal. My daughter complains that occasionally the skin around the verruca can feel a little bit sore, but she rates this soreness as about 2 / 10 - and so really not bad at all.

I do find that Bazuka Extra Strength Gel does work as long as the verruca is is targeted very soon after it appears. I find that the longer it has to take hold, the longer it takes to tackle it. So, as long as the verruca is hit with the Bazuka within a few days, then the effectiveness of this gel is very good and so I recommend it.

          Advantages

          Disadvantages

          Good for the smaller ones.

Aren't verucca's disgusting? Why do they even need to exist? Just to torment people and make feet look ugly. I remember at school when people used to have to wear verucca socks, what a horrible way to be singled out!!

Veruccas are warts that mostly grow on the feet. They do not look like warts, they are not often raised. They appear to be flat areas of harder dry skin which can sometimes have concentric cricles. They appear to go deep into the skin and are very uncomfortable to walk in. The come in a variety of sizes.

One of the most popular over the counter methods to cure veruccas is a gel. The most popular and named brand is bazuka, probably due to it's slogan- bazoka that verucca. You can buy Bazoka from supermarkets and pharmacists. It should set you back just over £5. Bazoka comes in a cardboard box. Inside the box is a small metal tube. The tube has a screw on and off lid, which you can reverse and break the seal the first time you use it. In the tube is a clear gel. It is important that you apply it only to the verucca and not the skin around the verucca, to avoid damaging this. As soon as you put it on it starts to dry and become white. Make sure you let it dry completely before walking on it or putting your shoes on, otherwise you will rub some of it off.

To make bazoka work you need to apply it quite frequently over a long period of time. You have to be persistant, which is where I struggled. Once you build up a few layers you can peal it off. The idea is that it kills the skin immediately connected to it. The problem was my verucca was too big. Bazoka minimised it, but I eventually had to get it frozen off. Bazoka did help, and I think if my verucca was any smaller then this would have got rid of it.

As always with any medical products please read the instructions carefully and do not take my word for anything as I am not a medical expert.

          Advantages

          Disadvantages

          .

I've been lucky enough to not get that many Verruca's, but got a pesky one a couple of months back after going swimming quite a bit. This treatment is for Corns, Warts, Calluses and Verrucas. It works by softening the hard skin and tackling the growth and also kills the virus.

This comes in a small tube in a small box. It is available behind the counter of my local Asda, and sold in Chemists and that as well. Inside the box as well as the tube there is a small Emery Board that you use to rough the skin up a bit more and allow the Gel to get into the roughened up parts and penetrate the skin therefore soaking in and dealing with the virus within the skin.

You clean the area you are looking to apply this to, rub the Emery Board over it, and then put a blob of the gel onto the bit. The tube has a tiny little nozzle so a little bit comes out and more importantly it aims it to the bit you want to apply to. The Gel dries quite quick and seems to leave a white film behind which is alright as no one would see it in my Sock anyway. You follow this procedue once a day for a week. Depending on how bad the Virus is then you could be using this Gel for up to 12 weeks, but I find a week does just fine for any that i've had.

I find that after the first couple of days the nasty bit right in the middle of the verruca seems to be shrunk and on it's way out and the rest of the week seems to target the scabby outside part.

The tube costs around £5 and although it isn't a large tube it will do a good few applications, I would say about 3 weeks of 1 application a day.

This is a good treatment that does the job.

          Advantages

          Disadvantages

          Worth a try

I have been fortunate enough never to have sufferred from having any warts however a friend has and they reckon that this product is no good at removing them, however I have had a verruca on a couople of occasions as I do a lot of swimming and pools and the shower are at the gym are a fertile place for spreading such infections and even though I wear poolside flip flops as much as possible avoiding infection is not easy.

This extra strength gel is about £8 so you would expect excellent results and when it comes to getting rid of a verruca it actually proved rather effective. You will not get over night results with this gel, you do have to treat the verruca for quite a few nights, along with the gel you also get a small emery board as well. This is a bit cheap and personally I bought my own to use after a couople of days. Before use you should soak your feet in warm water to soften up the skin and then ensure that your skin is dry, you then apply a thin layer of the gel to the infected area. If it gets on your normal skin you will feel a burning sensation but it is not really that painful. As the gel dries it will turn white to form a covering over the verruca.

You use the emery board the next day to remove the existing dried gel before applying a second coat, this also helps to roughen up the skin and allow the gel to get to work. The last verrica I had was not an especially deep one and it took about two weeks to remove it. Basically it slowly burns the verruca out and rids your foot of the infection, you do have to make it a regular routine as if you miss a few days it will certainly mean starting over. It is painful for a couple of days after it is removed because of the sensitive exposed skin but a padded plaster usually solves this problem.

Overall for a verruca this works but the feedback I got regarding warts is not so positive however that was only one users opinion, then again so is my on the verruca process, overall however it is worth giving this a try.

          Advantages

          Disadvantages

A product which takes time to work

Whenever I go swimming the biggest problem is verrucas because they are the most common issue in my view when you are there.

I have never really suffered from them in many years but my nieces and nephews are forever finding fault and finding them on there feet.

Some people are unsure what a verruca is and how to spot them but I used to get told it was like looking at a tiny cauliflower and it is a virus but when people walk on there feet and have this white sort of mark there and it hurts when they walk then usually it is a verruca.

I went with a friend to find the bazuka product I had used it a few years before and had great success and to be fair the pack is not that hard to notice with the bright yellow display and you have this rather small amount of product which is meant to remove the verruca. I was very unhappy to pay such a large price which was over £5 at the time and I did feel slightly ripped off.

To apply this item you are meant to place a small amount onto the verruca and I say this because I have used it before but for people who have not instructions are there for a reason and would advise people to read them if they are unsure what to do.

I usually applied it to my nephews foot by making them have a wash first then dab the area so it is completely dry and then add a very small amount of the gel. You do get this white mark you have to remove and I found that the verruca although still there was not getting any bigger or causing much discomfort.

After several days of reapplying this product it did eventually disappeared when we used the pumice stone which helps remove the excess skin but we did have a few minor issues and one of those was the white dry residue left behind at times was difficult to remove and it might hurt the foot but it was not anything major which caused any other effects.

I think the item is useful but it does not work overnight as some might have you think and it does need daily treatment but it does work in the end just a shame the price is so high.

It should also be noted that this product can be used on corns as well which I have never had or known anyone to suffer from so cannot speculate how well this might perform.

            Advantages

            Disadvantages

            Useful if used correctly

We have bought Bazuka Extra Strength Gel in the past as our child came home with a nasty verruca which we thought was probably something passed on when visiting the swimming baths for lessons. With verrucas being unslightly, infectious and generally not very nice we trundled off to the chemist to seek help. We needed to Bazuka that verruca!

What we came back with was a small tube of Bazuka Extra Strength Gel. I have to say we have used the product on more than one occasion with mixed results. Its a simple product to use but it does need to be re applied as directed to give the best results. Its not a miracle product and if you fail to follow the directions and repeat the applications, the verruca just won't budge.

            **********************************************************
The yellow pack that the tube comes in is a stand out small box with a large cardboard top panel. The top panel holds some printed info and says what the product is all about. There is a logo to one side and the Bazuka name is clear to see and stands out easily. There is no way you could miss the box on the shelves as its very loud looking.

Once you get the product out of the box, what you get a simple small white tube of the Bazuka gel. The tube is teeny and I was a little miffed that I had spent over £6 on such a teeny amount of the product. You need to break the seal to be able to use the gel which is easy and quick to do. Once ready to apply the gel I would advise that you check the instructions for use if its the first time you have used this.

            **********************************************************
We found the Bazuka Extra Strength Gel only had to be applied to the verruca once per day. We found it easy to apply the gel where needed but were directed to pre soak the area where the verruca was for a number of minutes prior to application of the product. The skin need to be carefully dried and then it was ready for a light coating of the gel.

We followed the procedure as directed with the Bazuka Extra Strength Gel and for the following week we had to peel back the white coating that formed when the gel had dried and repeat the whole process. This wasn't nice but was part of the treatment. Over time the verruca did become a little sore and our child complained that it was tender around the area where it was.

There is a small emery board provided with the product and sometimes you do need to use it to file the area around the verruca prior to re applying the gel. Again our child objected and didn't like this but was able to let the treatment continue until the verruca was dealt with. I have to say that the treatment continued for a long time and it wasn't a quick fix at all.

As I recall it took at least a month of using the Bazuka Extra Strength Gel to see any real results from it. We initially hoped it would go away quickly but it did not. As far as recommending the product goes, I would say it does work and so I would have to recommend it. However do be aware that its not a quick fix and will take time to deal with the verruca. As far as rating the product, I feel it ought to get 4 stars. It does work, but the treatment must be continued with daily, to get good results from it.

              Advantages

              Disadvantages

Does "exactly what it says on the tin". A great product for those that can persevere!!

Bazuka Extra Strength is a great product for treating warts and verrucas.

You can buy the product from any good pharmacy or if you are one of those people (like me) who finds it a little embarrassing buying this stuff over the counter, I suggest buying online (www.pharmacy2u.co.uk is a great website for this)

The gel is really simple to use; you simply apply the gel once a day, allow it to dry and then the next day you pick the gel off removing layers of wart or verruca underneath. It sounds painful, but the gel deadens the infected skin and peeling it off is not overly painful. This soon becomes a daily routine and over the course of 3 or 4 weeks the verruca or wart is gone (although it can take longer in more extreme cases)

The gel cannot be used to treat genital or anal warts and should not be used around eyes or mouth!!

The only word of warning I would give with this product (as with all products of this nature) is that you MUST continue using it until the verruca or wart is COMPLETELY cured. I used this gel previously but stopped using it before my verruca had completely gone and it simply came back again. Even if it means buying more than one tube (pharmacy2u.co.uk sells triple packs for great value!!) it is well worth making sure the treatment is completed.

bazuka that verruca review, personally i find that bazuka range is not strong enough on stubborn or established warts, the gel contains acid and can be a bit mucky applyng to the foot. Organic marigold tinc is recommended in the foot industry and is a painfree application and doesnt stain , works fast zara recommended this to me from the manky feet blog. Bazuka worked on my 4 year old but it was a fresh verruca!

              Advantages

              Disadvantages

              use vinegar

Having a verucca is not a great deal of fun. Not only do they look ridiculous and unsightly, they can itch, hurt and cause great distress for sufferers. Some people shift theirs in days, whereas others wait years before they finally get rid of them. I had the misfortune to have mine for a year or so before acting on it, hoping that it would just go away. It didn't go away, it got bigger and spread, resulting in a pair of of verrucae right next to each other.

I tried most remedies and nothing seemed to work, so I thought I would give this a shot. It comes in a little tube and you simply take the lid off and wipe a layer of gel over the verruca. It self dried within a minute and hardens. The idea then is to leave it to 'eat into the virus' and peel off the gel a few days down the line.

Now I did all this exactly as instructed. I used the little emery board as well to sand off some of the gel and dead skin, this helps to aid recovery. After several applications and a few weeks down the line, it had done nothing to shift it. I stuck with it, but sadly did not get good results. I think this gel might work better on newer verrucas, that can be caught in the early stages. Mine was so deeply rooted, the gel lacked the power to kill off the virus.

The pack cost about six pounds if I recall. I have read of it working for other people, but not for me unfortunately. I should mention that I did stumble upon something that worked. Wipe white vinegar over the verruca, cover with duct tape and leave for a day or two. Take the tape off then use sandpaper to rub away the skin. This method stung, but shifted my verrucae and genuinely worked better than over the counter remedy.

So sorry, Bazuka, you have been beaten by a thirty pence bottle of vinegar. The secret's out!

                Advantages

                Disadvantages

Worth every penny and 10 stars!

Thanks to my younger brother I have had a verruca for years. He had verruca's for a long time and never bothered to treat them. In the end he got his cut out by the doctor and I was left with mine. I didn't quite have the guts to get mine cut out, so I kept trying different products on the market.

Over about 3 years I tried everything and nothing worked. The verruca got bigger and bigger and started to get very painful. In the end I got fed up and asked a pharmacist. They suggested trying Bazuka Extra Strength. I had already tried the Buzuka and knew that hadn't worked and the extra strength one was about £8 from the pharmacy, which I thought was quite expensive when I had already spent a fortune, but thought I may as well give it one last try.

Bazuka extra strength is no over-night cure and is not quick. It is a long, frustrating and, in my case, painfulo process. I am however, pleased to say that it did in fact work for me.

Bazuka extra strength comes in a small yellow cardboard box. Inside you will find a small tube of thin gel, instructions and a small emery board, if you have a large or deep verruca, you will need more emery boards.

To use Bazuka extra strength you must bath your foot (or feet if you have more than one verucca) in warm water to soften the skin. Then you can apply a thin coat to the verruca/s. You must be very careful not to touch the gel with the normal skin as it can burn. You then need to keep your feet still whilst the gel dries. You will know when it has dried because it turns white.

For the second application and every one after that you will need to peel back the dried gel and file it away. I found that I couldn't do this for at least a week, but then after that time I was able to peel most of it away and then file down any bits that were left. Then you go through all the steps again. You need to repeat this everyday until the verruca drops off.

When I used this it took me about 3 weeks to get rid of a very deep, large verruca that had been there for years. I had more than one, but the others were much smaller, so I only treated one at a time and started with the biggest one. Mine didn't fall off but when I pulled it back one night the verruca came out with the dried gel. It made me feel a bit sick and isn't very pleasant, but it did work and I was very relived as anyone who has had a verruca will know they are painful and nasty.

After my verruca came out of my foot, the area around it and the area where the verruca had been were quite painful for about a week and I had to wear a plaster when I had shoes on. After that my foot was fine and it hasn't returned.

I had quite a lot of verrucas and am still treating a couplf of them now. I did myself a break, because you do need to do it everyday, which can be a bit of a pain. I am still using the first tube I brought and there is loads left, I just hope I don't the rest!

I have reccomended this product to everyone. It is fantastic and is the only thing that worked. My biggest verruca was about the size of a twenty pence piece, which is quite big. Nothing else worked and I am so glad I found this product. I would never use anything else again and highly reccomend it.
