I had been wanting some new headphones for ages as I am always on my iPod listening to my music but my earphones were getting a bit dodgy and the sound wasn't even. I had wanted these but they are quite expensive, however I managed to get a great deal at Dixons and so it was decided, I was buying these. These come in camo, orange, black, blue and white but white was the colour I wanted as it is more neutral and goes better with a lot of things.
These headphones are one size only and they are just your standard headphone size. They have a cable with a length of 1.12m and they weigh 150g which is very light. They come with a 1 year manufacturer guarantee and are made with super soft cushioning. These have a section for adjusting to your head to fit over your ears that you can slide up and down and on each ear it has black writing that says Superdry with the logo and over the head, the band has a sort of mesh like fabric which is nice.
These headphones are great, they come packaging in a cardboard box and once taken out are literally ready to plug in and use. Now, when first plugging these in, they will work right away, these come with a remote control and microphone so they can be used for Skype etc. These have a 20-29 Khz frequency response and these are easily adjustable when on your head. I found they sat comfortably on my head once adjusted with a quick pull and then I could sit back and listen to my music easily.
One thing I was quick to point out on these is that the sound wasn't as great as I'd hoped for. Maybe because I have been so used to using earphones that going to headphones was quite a jump for me again. The sound was very tinny but the strange thing is on my phone it sounded different and when touching and pushing in the orange button, the sound was great and I could hear the bass and audio evenly but on my iPod the sound filtered through perfectly, whether this is an unnoticed fault, I don't know but it is very annoying.
The cable is fine on these, it is long enough to move around with and seems to be just the right length. The headphones are also good though for using for speaking on Skype, they seem to be very clear and are comfortable just sitting on my head. One thing I have noticed upon further reading is that these are only compatible on PC and Mac and on iPhone, Apple, mp3 players, HTC and Blackberry devices, my phone is a Nokia so that explains why they don't sound good on my phone, still not great.
I haven't really had any problems with these headphones but if you put the volume up they are very loud and not in my ears but if you take them off the sound coming out of these is huge. Especially, if you are on a bus and you have the volume up these would be loud enough for everyone too hear, I wish they were a bit quieter so that I could listen at a decent volume without them having a louder exterior sound. This is another problem that I have sadly found so I don't use them outside as much.
All in all as far as headphones go these are good, you can plug them into your mp3 player easily they plug in fine and work right away with a good quality sound, not the best but it is fine. They are ok for using on things like Skype as the microphone seems to work just fine as is the audio good. I think though these are more for image than for actual sound quality as Superdry don't specialise in this field and I think if I were to know this, I wouldn't have bought them as I am a bit let down by them.
