A highly capable PDA that triumphs above many newer windows versions. For many years Palm has produced some capable PDAs including the Tungsten series. This one was the best after the T and T2 of earlier years. Packed with the usual Palm functionality, it only misses out on the whole word recognition software. The sliding screen with virtual Graffiti area is great. So to is the rotating screen (portrait and landscape) function.
This is the sort of product with WiFi, better internet connectivity, and windows type hand writing recognition could take on the likes of Blackberry and iPhone. The market is packed with keyboard devices and new touch screen gadgets. But executives will find the Palm a trouble free way of keeping up with work out of the office.
The palm offers functional computing at a fraction of the price of a laptop or the OQO for that matter. The Palm may occasionally crash but is easily reset, with that being the major problem it is an excellent tool for the travelling exec. For the money this is better than mobile office or similar products for mobiles. A real must buy if you can find one.
