I came acreoss the carex cola cubes the other week whilst doing my shopping and the kids love it. So I though I would see what other smells they have this one jumped out on me for the colour and I thought strawberry laces I have to have this. I bought this for £1. When I got it home I was dieing to give if ago. Mmm smells delicious this is a great hit with my girl cousins. It's great to get them mucky kids to wash there hands. One of the best £1 I have spent. You will always find a anti bacteria hand wash in my kitchen and bathroom now it's carex cola in kitchen and carex strawberry laces in the bathroom. I no longer have to check the kids have washed there hands as they normally can't wait. A few times I have had to say I think you have washed them enought now.
Strawberry laces remind me of one thing ... school discos, of awkwardly standing on the opposite side of the room to boys & drinking coca cola through strawberry laces! I love the Carex brand and I do normally have one particular Carex that I always buy, but when I saw these in my local Tesco memories came flooding back and I had to stock up! I am a slight 'anti bacterial' fanatic ... I like my soap & cleaners to be able to kill whatever germs my messy flat throws at them without being damaging to my hands. My hands are quite dry throughout the year, and become even drier when I'm cleaning my flat or cooking (which needs constant hand washing!) so the Carex brand really helps to keep my hands feel lovely & really soft while killing all germs. The smell is really lovely, sweet & long lasting smell. The soap smells just like the real strawberry laces rather than an artificial attempt to recreate a smell! Now although I don't have children, my boyfriend and I are both 25 and had the same nostalgic reaction to using this soap. So not only is it 'Family friendly' its 'Grown up's who having quite grown up' friendly too!
One thing that you will always find in my kitchen and bathroom is a bottle of antibacterial hand wash. I will normally just purchase the original variety but couldn't resist trying the new cussons carex strawberry laces fragrance hand wash when I spotted it recently. I purchase the hand wash from Asda where it was offer for just 90p for a 250ml bottle which I thought was excellent value for a branded hand wash. The hand wash comes packaged in a clear plastic bottle with a pump action dispenser. I love that the plastic is clear as it allows you to see the bright pink hand wash inside which looks really funky on my kitchen sink. On the front and back of the bottle there is stick on labels which detail all of the product information including ingredients listings and directs for use. It also states that it has been dermatologically tested for skin kindness and contains added moisturisers. The directions for use state to use two pumps of the hand wash with warm water and to wash your hands for at least 15 seconds. I have been following these instructions and have been very impressed with the results. I get a lovely lather and the fragrance is lovely and does remind me of the strawberry lace sweets as it is sweet and fruity smelling. The fragrance does linger on my skin for a while after use but is not too overpowering, my hands are also left feeling cleansed, fresh and soft. Obviously you cannot see the antibacterial action working but it states that this hand wash kills 99.9% of bacteria which I think is pretty impressive and just what you need in a kitchen when handling food. Overall I have been really impressed with this carex hand wash it makes a lovely change to the usual boring hand washes and leaves my skin feeling clean and soft as well as killing off those nasty germs. A little also goes a long way making excellent value especially if you can find it on special offer.
I bought this hand wash on a recent trip to the supermarket for two reasons. Firstly, the colour pink appealed to my girly side and second of all because the 'strawberry laces' appealed to my inner child. About the product The product promises to get your hands squeaky clean and fresh. The product is an antibacterial hand wash which claims that it will remove dirt and germs from the hands. It also contains moisturisers so that your hands are left feeling soft and smooth. It promises to protect your family's hands and to appeal to your senses with a delicious sweet strawberry scent. Packaging and Price The product come contained within a clear plastic bottle and there is a picture of a strawberry and some strawberry laces on the front. It has a white pump dispenser in order to dispense the product. The product is available for around £1.50 and it can be bought from stores such as Superdrug and Boots, large supermarkets and also from a range of online websites. Application and Performance The product is a gorgeous hot pink shade which is cute on display in my bathroom. The product has an aroma which suits the product down to the ground. It smells just like strawberry laces and it is fruity, sugary and sweet. This product would really appeal to children and would probably encourage them to start washing their hands more often which is never a good thing. The dispenser is easy to push down on and plenty of the product is really with each pump. I wet my hands with water before applying the product. It has the consistency that you would expect from a hand wash and it glides easily across the hands as you massage it into the skin without pulling or dragging. It foams and bubbles nicely making you feel like its doing a good job of cleansing the hands. The product smells delicious throughout this process. Due to my job, I am always getting covered in paint and pen and this hand wash removes it all easily with minimum rubbing. The product is easily rinsed off when you have finished and the formula is gentle, causing no irritations. My hands don't feel especially soft after use but they definitely don't feel tight or dry either. My hands feel fresh and clean, and the lovely scent lingers on the hands too. Conclusion All in all, this is a fun hand wash which leaves the hands squeaky fresh and clean. It has a fun fragrance and cute colour which means this will appeal to both children and adults. It is gentle on the hands, cleanses well and doesn't dry out the skin. I really like this product and would recommend it.
After buying the cola bottle handwash I thought that I would be quite adventurous when I bought my next handwash, so decided to go for a "strawberry laces" flavoured handwash instead. my nieces are a massive fan of strawberry laces and are always asking me to buy it for them so I knew they would be happy about this handwash. What does the product do? Like every other hand wash this product is designed to clean hands and get rid of bacteria and dirt leaving hands feeling fresh. The main thing that catches people's attention with this product is the flavour as it is very unusual and different to what they usually expect. My personal opinion Just like the cola bottle flavoured hand wash I was happy every time I used this. The smell was sweet but not overbearing it is as if you are actually holding strawberry laces. Just as I expected my nieces were major fans of this handwash and made any excuse just to wash their hands. It is safe to say that this product is a firm favourite with kids so if you have any I would highly recommend buying it as it will encourage them to wash their hands. Overall I really liked using this product and it certainly brightened up my plain bathroom, I would recommend it especially to those who have young kids that are quite reluctant to wash their hands.
Today I'd like to review the Strawberry Laces hand wash by Carex. Shopper's appeal I discovered this hand wash at Tesco whilst doing my usual shopping! The colour of the hand wash immediately appealed to me - I just love pink products and buy them whenever possible. When I saw that the scent of the hand wash is called "Strawberry Laces" I was won over! I don't think I have used a Carex product before, so from the view of a dedicated product tester this was very exciting. ;) The packaging This hand wash comes in a slightly square-shaped, see-through plastic bottle with rounded edges. The blue Carex-logo can be seen in the middle with two waterdrop-like creatures looming above it, one saying "family favourite fragrance" in a white speech bubble. A pink swirl that looks like it is coming from behind the Carex-logo is shaped like strawberry laces-candy and the scent's name is stated in pink letters with a little strawberry next to it. On the back of the bottle there is light blue label with all the product information you could desire. ;) The product is described as a "fun antibacterial hand wash that the whole family will love to use". The product is supposed to be "effective yet gentle in helping to prevent the spread of germs". The germ-killing formula of the hand wash is said to be working within seconds. It contains added moisturisers, supports the skin's natural antibacterial defences and was deramtologically tested for skin kindness. The product's ingredients are listed as well. The bottle can be recycled and contains 250ml. My experiences I loved this hand wash from the first minute on! The scent is incredibly pleasant and really does smell like the famous strawberry laces candy and has a lovely pink colour. I used to love eating those strawberry laces when I was younger so the scent of this product awakens pleasant childhood memories. In general I really like candy-like scents, so this product is perfect for me! I felt like the promises made on the back of the bottle were kept. My hands always felt and looked clean after washing them with this product. It is indeed very gentle to the skin and doesn't dehydrate at all, so I do think it is indeed suitable for the whole family. I tend to wash my hands a lot, sometimes more than neccessary, and still they felt great! The bottle lasted me quite a while. I live by myself and use this at pretty much every trip to the bathroom and after a month it still wasn't empty yet! If you have allergies or very sensitive skin, you should of course check the list of ingredients before buying this product! The ingredients Aqua, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Sodium Chloride, Glycerin, Polyquaternium-7, Parfum, Sodium Benzoate, Lactic Acid, tetrasodium Glutamate, Diacetate, Benzotriazolyl Dodecyl p-Cresol, CI 17200. The price At the moment you can get this lovely handwash for just £0.85 at Tesco. Conclusion I love this hand wash! It cleanses perfectly and smells fabulous. I suppose you have to be fond of candy-scented products to enjoy it, but if that's a thing for you, have a go!! :)
So I am into the final review of these Carex hand washes. Now it was abit of an unexpected review to be honest because whilst dooyoo got me into these hand washes, I thought I was done. I had review the cola ones after purchase, I had reviewed the chocolate orange after purchase and honestly, I did not think much of the Strawberry Laces. I did not purchase them. My wife arrived home the other day, having purchased the Strawberry Laces. Bugger I thought! Something that I was not keen on, was not in my house. So lets just go over what we have. Carex have produce three scents to add to their hand wash. These are mentioned above. The idea is good as it encourages kids to wash their hands and in turn it kills 99% of bacteria. They come in a 250ml pump action plastic bottle Strawberry Laces: Incase you are not picking up on it, these is not my favourite. Unscrew the top and take a whiff and you do not really get the smell of the sweets. You can get a small whiff of Strawberry but that its. Nothing like the sweets. The liquid is a nice strawberry red colour which is clear in look. Once applied to the hand with some warm water you start to scrub. Result? An ok Strawberry smelling liquid but just does not do it for me. The smell that is. I am sure it kills the bacteria, but if you really want Strawberry Laces then its not worth investing in. Try the cola or the chocolate orange version. The cost of these vary across the various supermarkets. Its £1.80 in Tesco or £0.92 in Sainsburys. Hold out if you can because I see these on offer alot of the time for approximately £1.
I've seen a lot of reviews on here for the Carex flavoured hand washes and so when I needed to replace my hand soap I decided to try one of them. The cola bottles flavour didn't really appeal to me so I went for the Strawberry Laces one. I bought it in Boots for £1.85 for 250ml - this is maybe a little bit more than I'd usually pay, but I fancied it! The soap is in a pump and the pump dispenses exactly the right amount for washing my hands. It lathers up well and rinses off without any residue or sticky feeling (which I was a bit worried about because of the very sweet smell). It's not a moisturising hand wash, but it's not drying either - I will tend to use some hand moisturiser as well if I'm washing my hands a lot. The smell of this hand wash is really great. It smells exactly like Strawberry Laces. Whenever I wash my hands the smell fills up my sink area and I can usually smell it on my hands for a while after (but it's not too strong). The downside to this is that the men in your life might not want to smell like strawberry! The upside is that I'm sure any children in your life probably will want to! I think this is a nice idea if you have children of a toilet-training age that you might want to further encourage them to wash their hands after going to the toilet - it certainly adds something a little more fun to it. I also put mine in a fun soap dispenser (a Poodle shaped one from Octopus/Pylon) which is also a must for reminding little ones to wash their hands. The claims on the bottle are that it kills 99.9% of bacteria - I have no proof of this, but my hands feel clean and Carex is a brand I trust for keeping me hygienic. I give this product 5/5 - can't knock anything off from my personal opinion. If there was one tiny thing I'd add it's that they should introduce a 'refill' bottle without the pump to save on wasteful packaging - if you keep buying their products (or have your own dispenser like me) you don't need the pump and it's just extra unnecessary plastic. Other than that a great, fun soap!
Product: Carex Strawberry Laces Hand Wash Price: 85p From: Tesco I often buy hand wash to use at my sinks rather than a bar of soap, I find the liquid from the pump dispenser a lot more easier to use whilst on the go and a lot more hygienic too. I was in my local Tesco store one afternoon doing a weekly shop when I came across the new Carex Strawberry Laces Hand Wash. It was on special offer for only 85p so I decided to give it a try. The hand wash comes in a clear plastic bottle with the product title, logo and description printed on a sticker at the front of the bottle whilst all other relevant information is printed on a sticker at the back of the bottle. The bottle as a push down dispenser on the top of the bottle and the liquid inside is a pink colour. Carex states that the handwash kills 99.9% of bacteria and supports the skins natural antibacterial defences. The handwash cleans my hands thoroughly and leaves them smelling sweet and fresh. I can really smell the strawberry laces on my hands after washing them and it's the exact same smell as the sweet strawberry laces you buy from sweet shops. Yummy! The downside for me is that this product leaves my hands feeling extremely dry and a little bit scaly, especially on the back of my hands. I do have sensitive skin but I have used other Carex hand wash and they have been completely fine so I figure that it must be an ingredient in this that does not agree with my skin. I love the smell of the product and how clean my hands feel after using this, but I wouldn't buy it again as it seems to be the culprit for causing the dry skin on my hands. Product Rating: 3/5 Ingredients: Aqua,Sodium Laureth Sulfate ,Cocamidopropyl Betaine ,Sodium Chloride ,Glycerin ,Polyquaternium-7 ,Parfum ,Sodium Benzoate ,Lactic Acid ,Tetrasodium Glutamate Diacetate ,Benzotriazolyl Dodecyl p-Cresol ,CI 17200
I've had this handwash in my cupboard for ages and had totally forgotten all about it. I seem to remember buying it from Tesco when it was on offer, so I'm not quite sure how much I paid for it but you can bet it was less than £1. I don't normally buy Cussons as it's normally a bit expensive, well for me it is anyway, so this for me was a treat. Well I got it out of the cupboard and finally gave it a try, and was instantly taken back to my childhood, the smell is that of those strawberry shoe laces you could buy. Yes I know you can still buy them today, but let's face it, they've played around with them that much that they're just not the same. The smell is a sweet but strong strawberry flavour, so much so that you could almost eat it, not that I'd advise that, and it lingers on your hands for quite a while, which I find quite pleasing. A little press of the pump action dispenser produces just enough light pink liquid to wash your hands without the need for repeated pumping. If you want more bubbles then please pump away to your hearts content, but I found that a small amount was quite sufficient to wash my hands. It doesn't seem to dry your hands either which is a good thing. The bottle is exactly like that shown in the picture, nothing fancy, it does the job it's designed to do without taking up too much room on your sink, or wherever you decide to place it. This would be a great handwash for kids, as it's pink and smells great, it's not flowery, but then again I'm a big kid at heart so for me it's great too.
I like this brand of hand wash, I am not loyal to any brand of washes and usually just buy which one takes my fancy at the time or one which is on special offer. I don't mind a shops own brand and just tend to buy one which I think may be suitable for my family and myself. I did like the name of this hand wash and that is one of the main reasons I bought it. It comes in a transparent plastic bottle which has a pump dispenser. It is very easy to press the dispenser and the liquid wash does dispense nicely onto the hands without it dripping all over the sink etc. It is a fairly rich liquid and a nice rich consistency, it is gel like and is a pink colour. It has a nice fragrance to it and one I can best describe as being quite fruity with a sweet smell to it. I do like the smell of this hand wash and find it a refreshing kind of smell which is really pleasant. You don't need a lot of the wash to lather really well, just a couple of pumps is well enough to create a good lather and foam. It feels really soft and creamy while washing the hands and it has a nice texture to it. It is also very easy to rinse fro the hands too in no time at all. I like the feel of the creamy texture in between my fingers. It cleans the skin well too and removes any dirt on the skin, removes chocolate and any sticky foods. It even washes my hubby's hands well when he comes home from work with any grime or oil on his hands from work. The first thing he ever does when he arrives home is to immediately wash his hands and this soap has removed all traces of dirt from a working man's hands. If it didn't remove the dirt he would tell me and not use it again but he's never complained it doesn't wash his hands well enough. It leaves the hands feeling soft and not dry. I find it hasn't irritated my sensitive skin and my little grandchildren have used this liquid soap and they too have had no irritations on their more softer, delicate skins. The fragrance also remains on the skin for a while after washing the hands. So the smell does have some staying power. It claims to kill 99.9% of germs in seconds of washing the hands. We can never be sure if a hand soap kills this amount of germs in a few seconds and we just have to have trust in the brand which states it does. So can never be sure but at least it will kill most germs. My hands do feel fairly soft after using this soap because it contains added moisturisers. I find my skin doesn't feel tight or too dry. I have very dry skin and this soap hasn't made my skin feel any drier compared to any other branded soap I use. I do always use a hand lotion or cream after washing my hands, and I have found my skin to feel smooth and soft after applying my hand cream. When I haven't had time to apply a cream, I have found my skin is dry but no drier than if I hadn't washed them using this soap, so all good. A little does go a very long way and you don't need to use too much of the liquid to clean the hands thoroughly. Too much isn't necessary with this one. Using too much would be a waste of money and also a waste of the soap in my opinion. The hands are not going to be any cleaner using more liquid and there will be far too many bubbles which doesn't mean the more you use the cleaner your hands are going to be. I bought it some time ago on special offer for only a £1 for a 250ml bottle. I think it is usually priced around the £1.80 mark. I think bought on offer it is excellent value for the price and well worth the money I paid. I do think it is even good value for the usual price too and I would certainly buy it at the full asking price. The quality is really good and a well worth purchase for hand washing and suitable for all the family to use. The bottle can also be recycled after use too. I highly do recommend this liquid soap, it is a good buy and a nice family soap. It is suitable for both men and women to use and not just a feminine wash like you may think with it being a pink colour. It is affordable and will last quite a while. Looks pretty in my bathroom too. I think if you are lucky enough to have a en-suite in your bedroom this one would look nice and look rather posh lol. A lovely gentle liquid hand soap which I will most definitely buy again in the future because it removes dirt well from hands and leaves skin feeling soft and smooth. Also on Ciao under my username pinky50. I give this one 5 stars. Thank you for reading my review and I hope it has been of some help.
===The Product=== Cusson's Carex Family Favourite Fragrance. Strawberry Laces Hand Wash. Kills 99.9% of bacteria. Clear plastic pump action bottle with image of red laces and two blue germs.White pump top with blue around the neck. The hand wash is a clear bright Barbie/cerise pink colour. 250 mls. 'Fun antibacterial hand wash that the whole family will love to use.'Effective and gentle and prevents the spread of germs. An advanced formula that works in seconds to kill harmful bacteria. With added moisturisers. Supports the skin's natural antibacterial defences. Dermatologically tested for skin kindness. Use to pumps with warm water and wash hands for at least 15 seconds. Use within 18 months. Avoid contact wit stone surfaces and stainless steel. ===Cost=== Full price £1.80 at Tesco. ===My Opinion=== Being quite health and germ conscious I always try and have antibacterial hand wash in both the bathroom and kitchen to try and keep infections at bay. I tend to shop online with Tesco and would mostly buy their own antibacterial hand wash when it is available, but often it is not on the list of products so then I do looking for something similar. This product I feel is quite expensive at £1.80 but I was able to buy it at half price which was more reasonable, although it is half the size of the Tesco bottle I normally buy (a good marketing ploy by Tesco I often feel - to not have their own brand products available to so you are forced to buy the more expensive brands). Anyway this Carex product, as well as their conventional hand washes, comes in two bright colours and fragrances - you can have this one which is bright pink and smelling of strawberries or the bright orange one which is fragranced with chocolate orange. The two vivid colours and aromas are aimed at all the family but are probably more targeted towards children to encourage them to wash their hands. The colour is lovely and the wash has a sweet strawberry smell. I a not sure about smelling like the strawberry laces sweets as I have never tried them but it is a lovely strawberry sweetie smell. The bottle says to be completely effective you need to wash your hands for at least 15 seconds. I am sure children would love these novelty colours and smells - and it may save some nagging regarding the hand washing business. For us, I found the smell quite sweet and appealing - the hand wash worked well to clean my hands. Luckily the smell did not linger on my hands afterwards either. The product is supposed to have added moisturisers but personally I did not find it especially moisturising - but neither was it drying - for me no better or worse than many other hand washes I have tried. It is a nice thickish consistency and I would be happy to buy it again if it was on offer. Now I would like to try the chocolate orange version but I feel my son would detest it - hence I tried this strawberry one first. ===Star Rating=== 4 stars - a bit expensive. ===Would I Recommend?=== Yes. ===Website=== www.carex.co.uk ===Ingredients=== Aqua, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Sodium Chloride, Glycerin, Polyquaternium-7, Parfum, Sodium Benzoate, Lactic Acid, Tetrasodium Glutamate Diacetate, Benzotriazolyl Dodecyl p-Cresol, CI 17200.
After seeing a review for the carex strawberry laces hand wash on DooYoo I just had to buy it being a huge lover of strawberry laces and also with a house full of grubby boys we go through a lot of hand wash. I had no trouble finding the hand wash and bought it on offer for 90p at my local Tesco. It usually retails at about £1.50 and I'm sure its sold in most supermarkets too. Its pink in colour with a pump dispenser on the top. It has a picture of the carex mascots on the front and a picture of some strawberry laces. It also claims to kill 99.9% of bacteria. I bought this to take on holiday as I don't like taking already opened things due to leakage and it served us well. I packed it in the suitcase and it was still in one piece when we got there and suffered no leakage on the journey there. Both me and the boys liked using it and it did smell like strawberry laces. My older son also commented on how nice it smelt. I found the smell stayed on my hands for an hour or so after using it and It also claims to kill 99.9% of bacteria which is great when handling food in the kitchen and changing dirty nappies. My hands felt clean and fairly soft after using it and its not harsh either. I did find it to be very watery though and I lost a lot of it to the sink when rubbing it into my hands. This isn't so great when little ones are using it as it seems to get everywhere and I found a lot more on the sink the other hand washes we have used. Another flaw I found with the hand wash is the fact there is no lock on the pump. When packing up to come home both me and DH tried to lock the pump to no avail so had to wrap it in foil to stop it leaking in the bag on journey home (which it did do but thankfully the foil caught it all). All in all the hand wash served us well on holiday and left us with nice smelling, clean hands but the fact it is quite watery and has no lock on the pump is not so great so looses 2 stars for those reasons
=Carex Strawberry Laces Hand Wash= I tend to stick to a few brands of handwash, Original Source, Palmolive and Carex are he main ranges I use. When I saw this Strawberry laces hand Wash, I knew I had to try it. =Price and Availability= I brought mine from Tesco and paid 90p for the hand wash, =Packaging= The hand wash is in a clear plastic bottle, and has the push down dispenser on the top. The brandlogo and the product name is displayed on the front of the bottle, on the back of the bottle is the information such as as ingredients, directions for use and the warnings. It also tells us the shelf life is 18 months. The hand wash is a bright pinkish / red colour. =99.9% of germs= On the packaging Carex claims that the hand wash kills 99.9% of germs on the hands and it has added moisturing benefits =Here Goes= It was love at first sight and experience, I just gave it one pump and it dispensed a good amount of liquid which was plentiful for washing my hands. It had a good amount of lather and it smelled of strawberry bootlaces, you could close your eyes and think you had strawberry laces in your hand.. =Was it a lingering smell?= No, after about 15 minutes the strawberry smell had gone, but I will say my hands did feel soft as though I had lightly applied hand cream to them, =Didn't last long= The bottle lasted about 2 weeks, but I have never seen my daughter find so many excuses to wash her hands, so that I won't complain about, =Would I buy again= I would love this all the time, but I think the pennies would have something to say about that, so this is one for a treat, I have a couple of bottles of it in the shed spare, so they are ready for our next holiday. =Overall= Fun product which takes care of a serious matter of hand washing,
I read a lot of reviews about Carex's chocolate orange and strawberry laces hand washes at the beginning of the year and was really pleased when my sister bought me one of each to try for myself. I would probably have gone for the chocolate orange scented hand wash first, but when we ran out of the hand wash we were already using my other half put the strawberry laces hand wash in the bathroom. ~ Price and availability ~ I do my weekly food shop in Morrisons and I can't say I have ever seen this hand wash in Morrisons although I must admit I have never looked for it. From the reviews I read I thought it might just be a release for over the Christmas period, but it seems it is still selling throughout the year and is currently for sale in Tesco at just £0.90 reduced from £1.80 for a 250ml bottle, which I think is great value. ~ Packaging ~ It comes in a clear plastic bottle. You can see the bright pink hand wash inside of the bottle. There is a blue oval shape on the front of the bottle with, 'Carex' in white lettering. A swish of red laces is below the blue oval and then underneath are the words, 'Strawberry laces' in pink lettering. A pump dispenses the product from the bottle. ~ Scent ~ I was really excited to try this hand wash out. I had specific expectations of what this product would smell like. Strawberry laces have quite a distinctive, slightly artificial scent, but I was disappointed to find that this hand wash didn't smell as I had expected it to. It has a very pleasant scent and it has a slightly artificial strawberry scent, but it is not just like the smell of strawberry laces. It is pleasant and it does linger on your skin for a little while after use. It is a lovely scent, but wasn't just like the sweets as I was expecting. ~ In use ~ As a hand wash I think this is a really nice product. It smells lovely and it doesn't feel drying at all. It kills 99.9% of bacteria and it claims to have added moisturisers. I wouldn't say it feels particularly moisturising, but it doesn't feel as drying as I would expect from a product claiming to kill 99.9% of bacteria. It is quite thick for a hand wash, but not too thick and it is easy enough to rinse off, but I find a little goes a long way and you don't need more than one pump to clean both hands. The 250ml bottle lasted us about 5 weeks, which isn't too bad. I don't feel that we used it more regularly just because of the scent. I found that as we got towards the very end of the bottle it was quite difficult to get the last of the hand wash out of the bottom, but otherwise I have enjoyed using this hand wash. ~ Conclusion ~ I really like the scent of this hand wash although I was expecting a scent more reminiscent of strawberry laces. The scent lingers on your skin for a little while after washing your hands, which is a nice bonus. It doesn't feel drying on my skin although it claims to kill 99.9% of bacteria. I think it is a great hand wash for the price and I would definitely consider buying it again. I think it is great value at just £0.90, but I have only given it 4 stars out of 5 as it does not smell like strawberry laces as I expected it would.
