My hair is completely out of control so I have to blow dry and straighten it whenever I have washed it. This means that it is quite damaged and it can also get quite dry. I am always splashing out and conditioners that might help to keep my hair in a better condition and my latest purchase was the All Soft Heavy Cream Conditioner by Redken. What does the product do? The product is an intensive conditioner which promises to nourish and condition the hair. It has been specifically designed for hair that is dry and damaged and it claims that it will leave your hair stronger, healthily and full of life. Using natural ingredients such as Avocado Oil and Proteins, the conditioner should leave your hair feeling soft, looking sleek and shining with health. How do you use the product? After shampooing, you need to towel dry the hair and massage a generous amount into the hair from the roots to the tips. You are directed to leave the product in the hair for between 5 and 15 minutes and then rinse the product and thoroughly. You must then dry and style your hair in the usual way. The conditioner can either be used daily or as a weekly treatment. Packaging and Price The product comes contained with a golden pot which has a black screw top lid. The name and additional information is written on the pot in white writing and the packaging looks classy and expensive. The conditioner will cost you around £20 for 250ml of the product. It can be bought from department stores such as Boots and Debenhams, and also from a variety of online websites. Application and Performance The product has a really delicious smell that is similar to the other Redken products that I have used. It has a touch of coconut and smells really fresh and lovely. It has a thick consistency which coats the hair really well and it makes you feel like it's doing a really good job. You don't need to use a lot of the product in order to get the desired effect which is a relief when you consider the price. It smells lovely which it's on the hair so you have a relaxing few minutes as you wait for it to get to work. When the time is up, the conditioner is easily removed from my hair. I can brush it easily as I am drying too. After my hair is dry, you can see the difference that the product has made straight away. It feels really soft so the product must be moisturising. My hair is free from tangles, my frizziness is reduced and my split ends are less obvious. My hair looks in a good condition, it is shining and is bouncy and healthy. It seems stronger and I am having less hair falling out as I brush it through. It smells gorgeous too and it continues to smell lovely for a while after use. It doesn't make my hair greasy so I can still leave for hair for two days before washing it. Conclusion All in all, I would happily recommend this product to anyone with dry hair. It leaves my hair looking healthy, feeling soft and smelling gorgeous. The conditioner is expensive but it's worth every penny in my opinion and it's made my hair look much healthier.
