I have recently begun to use the Pureology products at my salon and they have been excellent. Pureology is a product range which is organic and vegan friendly. The shampoos have dual benefits which provides care for your colours' vibrancy and care for your hairs' needs, such as damage or dryness. They are also Sulphate free which means the shampoos are gentle on your hair whilst helping to protect against colour fade. One of the things which I think makes Pureology special and that my clients absolutely love, is the fact that they have a "Pureology Promise." They offer you a money back guarantee! If you have been only using your Pureology shampoo for 4 weeks and you are not satisfied that it has protected your colour or improved the condition of your hair you can send the rest of the product back with its original packaging to the address below: Pureology Consumer Affairs PO Box 2007 Westfield, NJ 07091-2007 You need to make sure that you have purchased your Pureology product from a authorised stockist of Pureology to qualify for a refund, along with your original receipts containing the purchase date. Win - Win! The Pureology Shampoo is to treat dry, coloured hair. It is in a lavender coloured bottle with a darker purple lid. I would say the packaging is quite simple looking. There is the Pureology logo on the front along with the name of the shampoo and brief description of what type of hair the shampoo is for. The key ingredients are: Coconut, Corn, Sugar, Peppermint, Sage and Rosemary . They are also, of course, Salt and Sulphate free! As the shampoo consistency is quite thick and rich, when you are using the shampoo I would use a 10p sized amount for fine to medium hair and for longer thicker hair, a 50p sized amount. You will waste your shampoo if you use too much, so therefore it is better to use two smaller amounts to cleanse your hair rather than putting a lot on in one go to try get it clean. It is not quicker! Rinse out well both times and then apply your conditioner as normal. Don't be alarmed if the shampoo does not lather up as much as High-street branded shampoo this is normal. It is due to the shampoo been sulphate free and is kinder to the hair. The shampoo smells luxurious and you can tell it is a high-end product. When you are using it you can really smell the Peppermint, Sage and Rosemary. I think the combination of these fragrances add an aromatherapy quality to the product. Pureology Hydrate Shampoo 250ml is available from authorised stockists for around £12.00. There is also Pureology Hydrate Conditioner to use after the Pureology Hydrate Shampoo. It is in the same coloured packaging and is priced at around £15.00.
