I am a massive fan of all the John Freida Frizz Ease range and this is my favourite product in the range. I'm not a big hair product user but this one for me, coupled with the hair serum from the range, is an essential item. I have been using this product now for more than 10 years and have never found anything that compares. I have long dark hair that has a slight kink to it (not a curl) and a frizz to it, especially when subjected to moisture (rain/humidity/shower etc)
The conditioner comes in a top down, tube style silver bottle that is smart and effective, no spillages etc and you get every last drop out of the bottle. It is only available, as far as I am aware in one size which is 250ml and costs around £5 a bottle (I usually buy it in Boots) although you can pick up cheaper when on offer. The conditioner is white with a thick creamy consistency, it has nice smell which stays in your hair even after drying. The smell is difficult to describe but is pleasant and fresh.
I use the conditioner every second day, sometimes after using the matching shampoo and sometimes not, either way it works effectively. I find it best to smooth it onto the ends of my hair and leave it for a few seconds before working it through all the bottom of my hair. It rinses easily in a few minutes and doesn't leave any build up on my hair. It can be used on the roots but my preference is not too as I am prone to greasy hair. Once towelled dry I find my hair very easy to comb and much easier to blow dry than if I use any other conditioner. My hair always has a glossy shine and looks in good condition and less frizz than normal which I think is due to this product
This is a product I would highly recommend to anyone who has frizzy, curly or generally troublesome hair. It is a must for me.
I have what you might call 'problem hair'; it is long and naturally curly, and has a tendency to be dry and go mad doing its own thing! Because of this, I have tried quite a number of different conditioners that claim to make your hair less dry and more manageable, but this is far and away the best one I have used. This product has fairly nice packaging, but the lid is a bit of a pain! The 'tin' itself (its metal and more like a deodrant can than a shampoo bottle) is silver, and does look quite 'sophisticated' (if its possible for a conditioner bottle to do so!), and contains 250ml of the product. The lid, however, is quite strange; you twist it round and this lifts up the top so you can pump the conditioner out. This sounds fine, but it has to be down to twist it back, which can be quite tricky to accomplish with wet hands and conditioner in one of them, and also means that sometimes you end up dispensing more of the product than you really need, as you forget to hold the lid down, so can't close it! The conditioner itself is thick and white, and smells a bit like hair wax, although it isn't overly scented. It is quite a floral smell, and does linger a bit on your hair, so I'm not sure if blokes would like to use it! Applying it is easy, but it can be quite hard to rinse it all out, especially if like me you haven't got a shower so have to wash your hair in the bath! On the plus side, this conditioner really does work. Since I started using it, my hair is a lot less frizzy and more glossy than it used to be. It isn't the cheapest of conditioners, around the average of 2 quid for a 'designer' product, but I think it is definitely worth the money as it does exactly what it claims to do, unlike so many I have used in the past! I haven't seen this product available in many shops (I got it from Sainsburys), but I expect that Boots and bigger places will be stocking it soo
n if they aren't already! If you have dry, curly or damaged hair, this product is really fantastic at improving the condition and looks of it, well worth giving a try, although it probably wouldn't be suitable for fine hair as its a bit rich and might make it look greasy!!
