“ Brand: Clairol / Type: Leave-in / Subcategory: Conditioner „
Swimming daily and dying my long hair was starting to take its toll so I decided to test out some products which would get it into tip top condition again.I decided to choose a light leave in conditioner which I could use daily to condition and add shine. Herbal Essences is a spray in conditioner with "Leightweight Formula for All Hair Types". COST: I bought my Conditioner spray from Boots for £2.80 for a 200ml sized bottle, although I feel if I had shopped around I probably could have found it a few pence cheaper. PRODUCT: The product is presented in a green pump spray bottle(made from recycled plastic) and smells divine! It contains Primrose,Angelica and Marigold Flower which help to condition the hair without weighing it down. The Conditioner also contains Mountain Spring Water which I felt just seemed like a bit of a con, after all water is water. The product seems to be aimed at women as it has a flower on the front and has a feminine fragrance. USAGE: I felt I had to use quite a bit of the product to get coverage so it probably isn't that economical. However it makes the hair really silky, smooth and soft to touch. The fragrance lasts fairly well but is subtle and not over powering. When used with the other products in the range it has a nice floral effect. The product doesn't make your hair greasy and detangles well. I would warn that because it makes your hair so silky it'd be difficult to make into a up do without it all slithering out. OVERALL: I'd definetly rate this conditoner very highly as it's effective and smells oh so good! The bottle is fairly attractive so it'd look good in the bathroom though it might be a bit big for carting around. The price is reasonable as the product is high quality. The only real disadvantage is application although I have very long hair and it may be better on shorter styles.
