I have been using Aussie 3 minute treatment as the only way to deep condition my hair and that's been working perfectly fine for my hair. I use Moroccan oil on my hair at least twice a week ,so when a friend suggest that I try out the avon advanced techniques which helps hair feel stronger and more nourished ,I more than happy to purchase any hair product that could potentially improve my colour damaged curly hair. I have used avon hair masks before and they have all worked well on my hair. I use this product once a week, I apply this to my hair dry and leave this in overnight and wash this out in the morning. After the first use of this mask my hair felt transformed. It makes my hair feel smooth and manageable as my hair can look damaged due to half my hair constantly being dyed.
After trying the Avon Argan oil shampoo and conditioner and being very impressed I ordered this with the last Avon brochure as it was reduced from it's normal £5.50 to £3.85. I am not sure of the price this time around but I find Avon always has offers on this product. The hair mask comes in a blue tube which contains 150ml of the product. This product is designed to be used weekly to strengthen, nourish and protect your hair. The mask contains argan oil which is good for hair as it helps to smooth and protect hair from damage. For best results you need to use the argan shampoo available separately before use. Once you have washed your hair you can then massage this through your hair before leaving for 5 minutes and rinsing. The conditioner is white in colour and very thick and creamy it has the same fruity smell the other products in the range have. I love the smell it is nice and totally unexpected for this product as other argan oils I have tried don't smell of much. The conditioner rinses out well which for me is a good sign as some deep conditioning masks I have tried leave an oily layer on my hair which weighs it down. After using this my hair felt really soft and looked super shiny it has been dry the last week or two as I wash it everyday whereas previously I only washed it every other. I have been using this for 2 weeks now and my hair looks better particularly at the ends which can sometimes look a bit scraggy. I would recommend this mask as a weekly treat for your hair it is such a good product for the money.
Avon advance techniques Moroccan Arran oil mask I have recently been trying out some of the Arran oil products mainly because I have heard so often about he good things they apparently do for hair. This one is from avon and can be bought either from the Avon lady or online at www.avo shop.co.uk. I can't remember how much it cost but I find that the avon products are usually good value compared to similar products so it won't have been too steep. This promises to be an intensive mask which will leave hair feeling revitalised, stronger and nourished from root to tip. Hair will apparently look lustrous, and feel smoother and silkier. It is formulated with Argan oil,provitaminB5 and Vitamin E which will moisturise hair from root to tip. All of this knowledge from a consumer review of 83 people. However fit he claims are true then I can't wait to try it out! The product comes in a 150ml plastic squeeze tube type bottle with all of the information and instructions on the back of the bottle. There is a flip up to open and flip and press down lid to close. To dispense the product the bottle should be squeezed and out comes the hair mask. It is white in colour and as expected quite thick so some pressure is needed on the bottle/ tube to get the stuff out. It has quite a fruity smell which is very pleasant and one which I hope will linger a bit when the product is rinsed out. The instructions tell me that I should apply the product to wet hair so I assume that for best results it should be applied to clean freshly washed wet hair. I have medium length hair and have experimented using different amounts of the product because I find that if I use too much of a conditioner then my hair can feel lank and too little leaves no obvious results. The best amount of this stuff is I think the size of a couple of ten pence pieces which gives enough to cover and condition my hair but not so much that there is a surplus of product. Once it is on all over the hair then it can be left on for up to five minutes and rinsed off thoroughly. Sit does work into a bit of a lather but not too much which is a good thing because it's not there to clean my hair; all I want is for it to sit nicely and condition. Because it isn't a watery product I find that when it is on my hair I am not subjected to the product dripping down my back as some wetter products do which can be irritating and quite unpleasant. I do tend to leave it on for the full five minutes and then rinse it out of my hair, this is ok because it isn't too difficult to get all of the product out although care should be taken to remove it all otherwise hair does look lank, because it is heavy. Once out of hair, then hair can be styled as usual. VERDICT... I Like this product. It really does leave my hair feeling and looking conditioned and the pleasant smell does longer for a couple of hours. On the down side, because hair is really soft, if I want some kind of "up do" then it isn't the right product to use because my hair is a bit too fly away and soft. A small price to pay, because all I do in is situation is make sure I wash my hair the day before it is going to get styled. It's not something I would necessarily use every time I wash my hair but for a once a week conditioner it really does leave my hair conditioned and healthy looking. Recommended product. Thanks for reading Daniela xx
WHAT IS IT? A hair mask from Avon that comes in a tube. THE PACKAGING The tube is very attractive and is a bright blue colour. The lid flips open and you squeeze the hair mask out as you need it, it is thick in texture but it squeezes out easy and the tube is soft so that you can get it out just as easy when the mask has nearly all gone. HOW DO YOU USE IT? You wash your hair with shampoo and rinse it all out then apply this mask and leave it on your hair for 5 minutes. When that time is up you rinse it off. WHAT I THINK I think this is a very good hair mask that makes a lot of difference to how my hair looks and feels. It is very easy to use and even though it feels a little bit oily in my fingers it does not turn my hair oily and I think it spreads through my hair very well so that I only have to use a little bit every time I want to use a hair mask. It does not smell of anything much but it has got a very pleasing creamy smell. I like how soft my hair feels after I have used this Moroccan Argan Oil mask and I did not know it was made by Avon at first because it was gifted to me and I had not read the tube very clearly. It is the most effective Avon hair product I have used and I am happy because even though my hair is soft after I have used it I can still style it as I usually do because it is manageable. This hair mask stops my hair being frizzy also and if I use it before I straighten my hair I like the glossy shine I get. My hair is blond and this mask does not make it look dirty or limp like a lot of oil products do when you have got fair hair. It rinses out very easy and does not leave my hair with any sticky feelings. ANYTHING ELSE A 150ml tube costs £5.50 and that is very cheap for a good quality product like this. I like it because it makes my hair feel strong and healthy. 5 Dooyoo Stars.
AVON ARGAN OIL HAIR MASK If you have read my previous reviews on the argan oil shampoo and conditioner you will know that a friend recommended them to me, so I decided to buy this as well and the leave in treatment which i will also be reviewing. ***THE PRODUCT*** This hair mask comes in a blue plastic tube with a flip lid and contains 150ml of hair mask, The packaging for this looks nice and stands out well. For a tube of this though it will cost at full price £5.50 from your local avon rep or avon online, but it can often be found on offer for around £3.00. The consistency of this is quite thick and the scent is fruity and the mask itself is white in colour. Like the shampoo and conditioner as well as containing argan oil it also contains vitamin e. The instructions for use are printed on the back of the tube although the writing is very small, but i still found it ok to read. Avon advise you to leave this hair mask on for 5 minutes before rinsing off. ***MY OPINION*** Again i love this product as it makes my hair tangle and frizz free, easy to manage and helps tame it and keep if looking and feeling soft and silky smooth. I love the scent and how it stays on my hair until the next wash. As mentioned above avon advise you to leave on for 5 minutes although with mine I like to leave it on for 10 minutes using just once a week. It is easy to apply, I like to comb it through my hair using a wide tooth comb to make sure it reaches all my hair, and don't have any problems getting the comb through at all. I have now used this 4 times and have more than half a tube left so it is well worth the price even when paying the full price and when I finish what I have left I will be buying some more.
My hair was feeling very dry and the ends were quite split due to regular colouring and not having it trimmed as often as I should. I needed a real miracle cure. A friend told me that she had used Moroccan argon oil on her hair and that it was brilliant but that it was also quite expensive. I didn't really think any more of it until I was browsing through the Avon catalogue and saw the advanced techniques 360 Moroccan argon oil mask. I looked at the price and it was £3.50 marked down from £5.50 so I thought I would give it a go. When it came it was in a bright blue, fairly attractive 150ml bottle. The first thing I did was turn it over to read how to use it and it very clearly told me what to do and how often to do it. The next time I washed my hair I shampooed it as usual then I thought I would try out the mask. The lid is on the bottom of the bottle so it made it easy to squeeze out without having to shake or squeeze too hard, but it was quite stiff to open. The mask itself is quite thick so does not leak out of the lid when you stand it up right. It had quite a soft smell that, once my hair was dried, was over powered by the smell of my shampoo. I put quite a large blob in my hand and smoothed it all over my hair. I then combed it through and left it on for the full amount of time recommended (2-5mins), rinsing it off with warm water when the time was up. I rubbed my hair with a towel, which always makes it matted and very difficult to brush. I couldn't believe my eyes when I pulled the brush through it and it just sailed through without pulling or catching and my hair was knot free within seconds. At that point I knew it had done some good so I was already pleased and couldn't wait to dry it off and see just how much of a difference it had made. When I was drying it off I quickly realised that I had used too much as my hair became very static and fly away. By the next day it had calmed down and felt great. It says to use on a weekly basis, which I have been doing, and it has given my hair a new lease of life.
Having used many hair conditioners, masks, and serums over the years, I cannot recommend this product highly enough. Basically, this conditioning mask does what it says on the tube - it tames my frizzy, coarse, dry hair and leaves it in beautiful condition. The mask, applied and left on for 5 minutes after shampooing, leaves my hair stronger-feeling, more manageable, and without the weighted-down feeling that some products can cause. Also, there is no residue or stickiness once hair is dry and styled - just lovely, shiny, smooth hair. This mask is best used in conjunction with Avon's Moroccan Argan Oil shampoo and should be used once a week in place of conditioner. If hair is extremely dry, the mask can also be used AFTER conditioning (again, Avon do a matching Argan Oil conditioner) but I find that using the mask alone, after shampooing, is sufficient for my hair and the results last for 4 or 5 days before I need to re-shampoo. A 50p-sized amount is all that is needed to condition my long hair and as this product comes in a handy, 150ml tube, it is ideal for taking on holiday as a substitute for heavier bottles of conditioner. The mask is suitable for all hair types and retails in the Avon brochure at £5.50, but is often on special offer for £2.50-3.00. Since I switched to this product, my hair has been less static/fly-away and I have noticed a marked improvement in the condition of my scalp, which is far less dry. The mask has a fresh, light, fragrance and a creamy consistency, and is comparable with the more pricey products sold in high-street hair salons. Endorsed by Avon's 90-day, money-back guarantee, you really cannot go wrong if you give this a try. Argan Oil is currently taking the hair and beauty world by storm and I have noticed similar products on the market retailing at £15-20 each, so this really is a superb product for little outlay.
A few months ago after continuously hearing my work colleagues and hair stylist raving about the highly positive effects of Moroccan oil in hair products I was intrigued to witness a number of products in the Avon brochure catalogue containing the ingredient. As a result, I made a purchase of the matching shampoo, conditioner and hair mask, which are all part of the Advanced Techniques 360 Nourishment range with this review discussing the mask, which is suitable for all hair types. ~~ What are the benefits of Moroccan oil in hair products? ~~ I discovered that the oil is extracted from the kernels obtained from the fruit of Morocco's argan trees and that it is included in many hair products to reduce frizz and deliver moisturise where it is of particular benefit to those people with curly, colour treated or thick hair. In addition, it is extremely beneficial for using during the styling process in order to reduce damage to the hair, which is caused by heated appliances. Furthermore, its use in a spray after styling is intended to add further moisture, which subsequently, offers a healthy shine. I was also interested to learn of the vitamins and nutrients contained within the oil, such as Vitamin E, Vitamin F and phenols; which are known for keeping the hair strong and healthy. In addition, I was surprised to discover that it also offers UV protection. ~~ My reasons for purchase ~~ My thick, curly hair reaches just below my shoulders and can generally be described as normal with the exception of the tips, which are frequently dry and as a result, will often split and become prone to frizz. Whilst I wash my hair on alternate days with matching shampoos and conditioners specifically designed for my hair type, I favour using a more intensive product on a weekly basis to provide my hair with an additional moisture boost. In addition to argan oil, the mask also contains pro-vitamin B5 and vitamin E; both of which are known for their positive effects on the hair. ~~ Using the Mask ~~ We are presented with 150 ml of mask, which is contained within an eye-catching turquoise coloured sturdy plastic tube with a flip tod lid, which is easily opened and secured closed. As a result, I am effortlessly able to dispense the product using one hand whilst receiving it in the other and then place the tube on its lid where it neatly stands whilst I continue with my hair. Despite the fact that my tube has been repeatedly opened, the lid stays perfectly intact due to its robust hinged section. The white coloured mask is dispensed with great ease where only a slight squeeze of the tube is necessary as otherwise an excessive amount is dispersed. The conditioner is similar to all of the intensive products I've used where it is fairly thick when compared with normal every day conditioning products. A delicate clean, fresh and slightly floral aroma is evident although in order to witness the scent it is necessary for me to place my hand directly beneath my nose and I'm sure that I am also able to detect a hint of coconut. This slightly disappointed me particularly as its presence wasn't included in the shampoo and conditioner from the same range and I cannot admit to coconut being a favourable aroma of mine due to an over indulgence in Malibu many years ago! The information contained on the reverse of the tube is provided in the smallest of text and despite the fact that I do not need glasses I found it extremely difficult to read. However, after a little effort I followed the directions for use, which are to apply the mask to damp hair, which I presume to have been freshly washed although Avon have omitted to include this information. I found it easy to apply and spread over my hair where I gently massaged a little into the roots, the lengths of my hair whilst paying more attention to the tips. Due to the coconut content I favoured the fact that the aroma did not intensify, which is often the case during the application process. I waited the allotted five minutes before effortlessly rinsing away with warm water and it was at this point that I was able to assess its benefits as I was able to comb my fingers through my hair with great ease, which is not something I'm able to do with poor quality conditioning products. I would point out that prior to each use I had washed my hair with the shampoo from the same range, particularly as I wished to obtain maximum benefits from the argan oil. Despite being wet, my hair offered a silky smooth texture and was knot and tangle free. I will always allow my hair to dry naturally for approximately half an hour before blow drying, which is when the ends will often offer a frizzy and fluffy appearance. However, this is not an issue that I experienced when using this product, but I would advise that I have been regularly using the Advanced Techniques Argan Oil normal conditioner, which in itself is an excellent product and one that I have previously reviewed. I would also advise that I regularly use intensive hair conditioning products on a weekly basis and as a result, my hair was in an excellent condition prior to starting this tube. However, had this product been inferior I would have immediately noticed a different texture to my hair. ~~ What did I think? ~~ After blow drying my hair, I was able to witness a healthy shine in addition to the fact that my hair appeared smoother in texture as well as being soft and silky smooth. There was no greasy or sticky residue remaining and my hair felt weightless with no flyaway areas. As far as I am concerned, this is a fantastic product and more so when used in combination with the matching shampoo and conditioner from the range as it has helped me maintain the condition of my hair. However, I would advise that this isn't a fix it solution for split ends, as regular visits to the hair salon are necessary. Due to the hint of coconut I was pleased that I was unable to recognise its scent after rinsing the product away, but I would liked to have been able to witness the clean and freshness combined with the delicate flora aroma. However, this is still a fantastic product, which I can highly recommend and due to the reasons discussed above it receives a full five stars from me. ~~ Other Information ~~ Whilst some hair masks are suitable for more regular use, this product should only be used on a weekly basis due to its intensive ingredients. The mask should be used within 12 months of opening with the tube being recyclable once empty. ~~ Price and Availability ~~ Avon Advanced Techniques 360 Nourishment Moroccan Oil Hair Mask is available from Avon online or from your representative where a 150 ml tube normally retails at £5.50. However, at the time of writing it can be purchased for £3.30. I hope you found my review useful and thanks for reading.
