I received a boxed gift set containing both this little Paladone Happy Man Bottle Stopper, and his matching twin the little Paladone Happy Man Corkscrew as one of a number of gifts on my hen weekend. The Happy Man Bottle Stopper is basically a wine bottle stopper, designed to insert into your bottle of wine to keep any leftover wine fresh until the next day. I can safely say that we didn't have any leftover wine to need to keep fresh on my hen weekend, in fact we had the opposite problem we kept running out! But this little bottle stopper was definitely a talking point, and he created lots of laughs. And he's certainly had lots of use since I brought him home from Dublin. He stands about 8cm tall, and he's made from a hard red plastic. He's standing legs and arms akimbo, and he has a huge grin on his little red plastic face. He does actually stand upright on his two little feet, and he doesn't wobble or fall over, despite his rather large protrusion! His rather large protrusion, his manhood, is the actual bottle stopper part of him, and it is unfeasibly large! His manhood i.e. the bottle stopper part juts out proudly from his little body, well 'little body' in comparison to the size of the stopper! The bottle stopper part has a rounded end, oooh er, and has two rubber rings around its width. To use the bottle stopper just grip the little man and then push his manhood down into your wine bottle. The rubber rings around his manhood will then help keep the bottle of wine airtight. When he's sitting, or maybe I should say when he's lying face down on top of your bottle of wine then you get a full view of his fab rounded bum cheeks! When you're ready to remove the bottle stopper and drink the remainder of the wine I find it easier to twist and pull the little man, rather than just pull him. My husband says that he has has no issue just pulling him out, but I do need to twist him a little as well otherwise I find that I can't always pull him out. He isn't dishwasher safe, I normally just give him a quick rinse under the tap and then dry him off. I've had him for quite a few years now and he's still in perfect condition. He's definitely a quirky and fun, albeit slightly rude, novelty gift. He would made a perfect hen night gift, as my little man was, or maybe a Secret Santa gift or stocking filler for someone that you know would appreciate him. I believe that you can pick up the bottle stopper on his own for around £5 on Amazon, or in a twin pack with the corkscrew for around £9, so they aren't expensive. I'd definitely recommend him!
Around Christmas time we invited a few friends around for drinks as we usually orgainise a Christmas gathering over the holidays to catch up and have a good night. This year we decided to do a secret Santa, so we all were allocated someone to get presents for, with a gift price set at under £10. It was a bit of a laugh and everyone seemed to buy each other silly, novelty gifts. I received the Paladone Happy Man Corkscrew and also a match of this the Paladone Happy Man Bottle Stopper. The Paladone Happy Man Bottle Stopper is a plastic red man with a happy face, standing with his arms and legs wide open, a little red bum and a bottle stopper where his manly bits should be. He is a little cartoon like figure and does not really resemble a real man at all, so I do not find him one bit offensive, however it would all depend on your sense of humour and taste. I was really pleased with my Paladone Happy Man Bottle Stopper, and when I received it, it was a great laugh and probably one of the better novelty gifts that I have ever been given because it actually has a function. I have found that this bottle stopper has been very useful and it keeps wine sealed up well. It is definitely fit for its purpose. It looks quite ridiculous when the little man is hovering over your wine bottle and I still find it quite funny when I see it. I have found that this little bottle stopper has fitted on every wine bottle that I have tried it on, also it is plastic and very easily washed and reused. I was given this as a present along with the other Paladone Happy Man, with a gift limit of £10, so I am guessing that this is no more than £5 to buy. Also the Paladone Happy Man Corkscrew is £5 in HMV so I am guessing this one is priced similar. Though it may be cheaper online so it is best to shop around. Overall I think that this is a great novelty present and was really glad that I was given it as a gift. It works really well and it keeps wine fresher for longer. Overall I would give this 4 out of 5 stars. It loses a star as it is a little expensive and I am guessing that some people may not find it as funny as I do. *also on ciao under lorrainek90
Upon leaving my last job i was given a few unusual tasteless gifts, one being the Paladone happy man bottle stopper and the Paladone happy man bottle opener along with a bottle of red wine. I was shocked after opening the gifts that my work mates for the last ten years could chosen such a meaningless gift but started to see the funny side of things and what else to get a wine drinker than a funky bottle stopper and wine. Paladone happy man bottle stopper can be purchased the Gadget shop or online from Amazon uk for only £4.99. Paladone happy man bottle stopper comes packaged in clear plastic with a cardboard insert, you can see Mr happy man through the packaging and to open it requires a set of scissors. Once open you will have a little happy man bottle stopper, this doesn't have instructions or need them. Paladone happy man bottle stopper is red in colour and made from plastic and lightweight. He measures roughly 5 cm long. He has a smile on his face and a waving hand very happy looking indeed. The idea is is to use his private part that's also happy and sticking out as the bottle stopper. It has two small black rubber rings round it and this fits into all bottle tops and gives a seal and grip indie the bottle. Paladone happy man can be washed in hot soapy water or the dishwasher. I have used bottle stopper alot in the last two years to keep my wine sealed after opening and only having a glass or two, he looks funny on the bottle and sure does bring a smile to everyone else's faces. This would make an excellent gift for people with a scenes of humour. I highly recommend the Paladone happy man bottle stopper.
I'd seen this little guy on many novelty gift websites in the past but never thought of purchasing one even though i did find it an intriguing item. Then at christmas as I was opening my stocking presents, this little guy was laid out before me in his rather comical pose. It's a bright shiny red and looked of a good quality. Now i'm occasional to sharing a bottle of wine with good friends but this little fella has brought a new and funny side to the experience. It's just the same as using a cork if not easier and due to it's resistant material it can be easily wiped clean. Now to try and explain the size and also try to keep this bit clean, (naughty!). The cork part of the cork stopper is very disproportionate to the rest of the stopper however this is what gives this product such a comical feeling about it. It's easy to use and has received a good reaction from friends and family. I wouldn't use this if there was children present just to keep things clean for them, however when you have a couple of friends round this is a great little gadget to have in your kitchen and is a great conversation starter and start you're evening to a hilarious evening. Also this would make a great little stocking gift or even a secret santa gift due to it's relatively cheap price, from my research online found them usually under £5 and a lot of places stock them, so don't delay go get you a happy man!
This is the second novelty man of the set of 3 that our friends gave to us as a 'Welcome to Your New Home' present a few months back. As with the other 2, it is basically a novelty gadget with a purpose - in this case the purpose being to act as a wine bottle stopper. However, of the 3 novelty man gadgets in the series, this is probably the most phallic symbol orientated of the series. It is effectively a small figurine of a man that is spread eagled with his arms and legs outstretched. Size wise, it measures 8 cm high, by 5.5 cm wide by 5 cm deep. The actual wine stopper bit of the man is a long bulbous shaped protrusion coming out from his groin area (trying desperately to keep this review clean!!!) which is greatly exaggerated and grossly out of proportion to the rest of his body. If that isn't 'bad' enough, this protrusion also has 2 rubber rings around it, further drawing your attention to it - hence the mention of a phallic symbol earlier. The man is also designed and balanced so that it will stand on his own 2 feet on a table top, which makes it even funnier because the man also has a wide grin on his face, which coupled with his wide spread eagled stance and rather large protrusion almost seems like he is saying 'get a load of this!!'. It certainly brings a smile and a few smirks from our friends who have seen it. What's it like to use ............ as a bottle stopper I hasten to add? Well it is made from a sort of shiny red plastic which is easily wipe cleanable. It has been through the dishwasher a few time with no problems The whole ensemble is made as the one piece, so there are no real weak spots of concern that might easily break off in use. In addition, the finish of the product is quite good overall and feels quite solid in your hand and well made, which is perhaps what you would expect for something costing around the £5 mark to purchase. The rubber rings around the 'protrusion' also seem to be fairly thick and robust and not so thin that they would easily break. The idea is that you put the 'protrusion' into the open neck of the bottle and then push down, where the 2 rubber rings are forced in to provide an effective seal in the bottle neck. We've tried this on a few bottles of wine and the fit seems quite good - not too tight, and yet not too loose that will cause it to leak. Once fitted, you then end up with the man horizontally spread eagled over the top of the bottle with his 'protrusion' jammed into the open end of the bottle. Removal is simply a matter of grabbing hold of the body and pulling him out - a case of just pulling him off when you're thirsty!! In summary, whilst this may not be a gift to everyone's taste, if it is taken in the context of a fun gadget, it is certainly something that will become a conversation piece at any party, bring smiles to many faces and seems to also be a bit of an 'ice breaker' in conversations. It is well made and very functional and hence, I can highly recommend it. Review also on Ciao under Randal1.
As I often have friends round for a few drinks it is always fun to have a few quirky items to give them a giggle. The Paladone Happy Man Bottle Stopper is one of these, and aswell as putting a smile on the guests' faces it also serves a good purpose. The Happy Man is the perfect solution for keeping your beer or wine fresh. By simply inserting his 'third leg' into the top of your bottle it will create an airtight seal on a bottle of your choice. The 'third leg' has two rubber seals on it, and these make sure of a tight fit onto any bottle. The design of the Happy Man is such that he is easy to pull out of your drinks bottle and enjoy the drink. The one downside to the product is the unnecessary hard plastic packaging that is impossible to get into - even with a pair of scissors! Once you overcome this obstacle, however, you have a wonderful product that is compact and robust. The Happy Man is bright red and already stands out due to his bizarre shape! Paladone also have a matching bottle opener, but i don't have this product yet. Priced at £4.99 I think I got a bargain, and as it serves a useful purpose it won't just get left in the drawer after a few uses. When someone sees the product for the first time they always ask about it, and ask me where I got it from, so they do get a lot of interest and are certainly a talking point! Perhaps if your adult humour isn't as enthusiastic as mine you might not find this product fun or funny, but I certainly do. The Paladone Happy Man is one of those products you can but to give to someone who has everything. With his arms in the air, and (presumptuous) expression on his face, the Happy Man bottle stopper from Paladone is sure to bring a smile to any dinner table.
I was first introduced to the Paladone Happy Man bottle stopper here on Dooyoo around Christmas time, after a few people reviewed them after they had received them as Christmas presents. With my Wife's birthday on the horizon (late January), I decided to get her one, as I was sure she would see the funny side of it, and she does enjoy the odd bottle of wine from time to time. I purchased it from Amazon, and paid just under £6 for it, including posting and packaging. My wife's face really made me smile when she opened it up on her birthday, she was a little intrigued as to what the present was before unwrapping it, as it wasn't like the usual shape or feel of the clothes, or chocolates, perfume, Cd's etc that she usually receives from me. As she unwrapped the last of the paper a huge confused frown spread over her brow, as she glared at me, and said 'what the hell is this'? When I explained to her what it was she started laughing out loud, as she explained that she thought it was some sort of 'weird sex toy' at first!!! The Paladone Happy Man Bottle stopper, is basically a comically designed bottle stopper. It is composed from a bright shiney red plastic, which is shaped into the figure of a Happy Man. The Happy Man stands up on his own feet, and his legs reach up to his chubby little waist, and his arms are stretched out above his head in sheer delight. In the middle of his body, around the groin area, the is a large bulky red extension coming from his body, which is rounded off nicely, and has two rubber rings fixed to it - ideal to fit into the opening of a bottle. I have found that this bottle stopper works very well. It is very solid, and feels like it is built to last. It makes a very good seal on the the wine bottles I have used it in, with the rubber rings giving a nice tight fit, which will not leak. When it comes to both inserting and removing the bottle stopper, the grip around the Happy Man's body, legs and arms makes the process very easy, and there is no danger of the stopper getting stuck in the bottle. I have rinsed the Happy Man Bottle stopper off a few times in the sink, using a little bit of soapy water, and this always brings it up nice and clean, easily removing any staining from the wine that may have been left on the end of it. Overall it is a great bottle stopper, with a great comical design of a 'Happy Man', which seals my wine bottles very well. It is very easy to clean, and can be stored easily in a kitchen draw, or proudly on the work surface as it stands on its own two feet. For just over a fiver it makes a really nice gift for a friend or family member. The only downside to this is that some people may find it a little rude, as it apparently looks a bit like a man with a really large willy, but I had not noticed this at all until my wife pointed it out to me - Honest! Thanks for reading, © L500589 2011
** Paladone Happy Man Bottle Stopper ** After reading a few reviews here I just had to buy this little man! Not for myself but my husband who celebrated his birthday a week ago and I thought it was just a little fun extra present to give. Other people who wrote a review about this almost guaranteed that it would be a success and that people would laugh! Well I thought I couldn't go wrong with this one then! I bought this little man for around 5 pounds on Amazon and within two days it was delivered at our house. It was perfect timing because my husband was at work so he didn't notice a thing. It was what people said and the little man made me smile straight away. His measurements are 11cm x 10cm x 5cm and even though he's small he has quite a big impact. But like I said this little man wasn't for me so I had to wrap it up and wait to see the reaction of my husband. Now this present wasn't of course the main present but it was the present he showed off the must during the party that night! A bit annoying but yes every body thought it was dead funny to see the little red man in action. Although he's funny it's important that he's actually up for the job. The little man is a bottle stopper and there is not really much to it. He's made of plastic and you easily apply him on the bottle. The little man has waving arms and a big smile but is very easy to hold on to and to get him out of the bottle again. Around the cork bit there are two rubber rings which makes him fit in the bottle perfectly. I'm very glad I bought this little man and it's just a fun little thing to give and he looks very funny! Most important thing is that it actually works and it just cheers up the rooms! Great gift!
I had never heard or seen the Paladone happy man collection of bottle accessories until I read a review on dooyoo but as soon as I saw the accompanying picture I knew I had to have them as they were right up my street in their design. I bought the corkscrew and the bottle stopper as these were items that I would find use for but there is also a bottle opened but this I resisted buying as I knew it would just sit in a drawer hardly ever getting used. I bought mine from good old amazon and paid £4.63. There were cheaper one's available from different sellers but I had it as part of an order so wanted my free delivery and besides I always trust amazon more than the majority of the third party sellers. When it arrived I was immediately happy with it as I bought it more for it's design than how well it would finction as a bottle stopper. It is made from bright red plastic and as you can see from the picture dooyoo have of it the stopper part is positioned where the male penis would normally be. Now obviously no one will think this is particularly risque and most people will think it is just a bit of fun, well hopefully they will at any rate. I may be slightly immature but to me as soon as I saw it I thought it was hilarious. To use the stopper you just need to place the 'member' into the bottle and twist it in. There are rubber seals that help the stopper stay securely in the bottle and I find that it serves it purpose really well in that once it's in it aint coming back out again until you force it out so the drink inside stays where it is supposed to. Because of the novelty factor I was surprised by how well it actually did the job it is supposed to as I imagined it wouldn't be up to much. The stopper is definately more graphic looking than the corkscrew as with that one unless you looked at it properly you could miss the fact the screw is placed where it is. With the stopper you aren't going to miss the fact is is supposed to look like a somewhat modern fertility staute and he cetainly does look happy. The Paladone happy manis a great little novelty gift if you are looking for something a little bit fun and different. It's cheap and yes it may be considered tat by some but others will appreciate it's saucy but fun look.
In accompaniment to the rather risque corkscrew we've got at home, there's also this almost identical bottle stopper that goes with it. The funny little talking point about it is the positioning of the stopper, much as the talking point with the corkscrew was where the actual screw was. This is in the shape of a man, it's bright red and a hard plastic, and it's about 4 inches or so long. The man's arms and legs are spread stretched, which provides a decent area to grab hold of whenever you're using it, and it's in its application that the novelty factor comes into play. On his front, the stopper is there where what would usually be the man's 'you know what'! With the corkscrew, this was quite a funny and quirky position to have the functional element of the gadget, but with this, it makes it seem a bit more real and deliberate. The stopper is shaped more like a man's manhood than the corkscrew is (of course!) and the thin rubber seals placed strategically around the side make it look almost as if there's a condom being worn. No doubt this is deliberate and not just to make it look even more suggestive, as the rubber rings are there to create a seal and to aid the stopper staying in the bottle, making it a practical item and not just a novelty gadget. Quirky element aside and forgetting the inevitable talking points this raises with guests, it actually serves its purpose quite well. The stopper is quite easy to put in and take out of bottles, and after feeling 'wrong' the first couple of times you do it, it becomes second nature and you hardly notice it. Quite a few gadget styled bottle stoppers or different designs focus too much on the aesthetics of the product and not enough on whether it works or not. This, however, seems to skimp on the aesthetics, choosing to let the positioning do the talking, and actually makes sure the size is right to fit in the top of a wine bottle just right. It washes really easily as well, and the only small niggle I have is that the rubber rings can get a bit loose after it's been used a few times. This isn't a big issue though, and they go back to their position easily enough, and isn't that fiddly to do. At under £5 it's a great novelty item, and if you're looking for a fun gift idea for someone that isn't going to break the bank, then this could be just the thing. It's important to note, though, that there's no chance of mistaking what this is suggesting with its positioning of the stopper. It makes it an adult gadget and not one for kids or people who may be easily offended. Fun novelty gift idea, but just make sure you give it to the right person! Recommended.
I am not really a big drinker, so I was a little confused when a friend bought me this Happy Man Bottle Stopper as a gift one Christmas. Luckily, my partner likes a glass of wine every now and then, so he has not gone to waste in our house. The bottle stopper is red, and made from thick, toughened plastic. It is in the shape of a small man with a large manhood. His manhood is what you insert into the neck of a bottle, and this little guy will then keep your wine fresh. It is one of those items you probably wouldn't buy for your Nan, as it is a bit of a sexual thing, but it does work well for it's intended purpose. The part that goes into the bottle neck seems to be the perfect size for pretty much every bottle we have ever used him in. The wine has always been kept fresh when used, and I found that is is quite easy to get the little guy into the bottle. He is just as easy to get out again too. You just grab him by the waist and pull until he pops. There is two, small black rubber rings on the Bottle Stopper, which help the stopper to stay in place in the wine, and funnily enough they are on the same place you would expect there to be some sort of rubber ;) I thought these would make it difficult to get the stopper out of the bottle, but I have had no troubles with it at all. It is has been a talking point in my house, my friends find it hilarious, but after a while it did lose its novelty appeal and now he just sits in bottles and is hardly mentioned when he is pulled out. I have found that the colouring on the stopper has not faded or worn in anyway, and it is still as fresh and as red as the day I recieved him from a friend. He is easy to clean too, just pop him in with the washing up or in the dishwasher, simple as that. If you are ever looking for an odd gift for someone ( not your Nan or elderly neighbour!! ) then this is quite a good one to give I think. It is something different, but make sure the recipient will actually have use for it, or it seems a little bit of a waste. You can buy these on Amazon.co.uk for £3 at the moment, and I have once seen them elsewhere, but not too sure where that was to be honest. I think £3 is a brilliant price for this little guy, and seeing as he has no flaws, I give this guy a 5 out 5. *This review is also on Ciao under the user name of Hailee*
You may have seen from a previous review one of my Christmas presents included the novelty Paladone Happy Man Corkscrew, to match this I also received (from the same person) the Happy Man Bottle Stop. Needless to say this is along the same lines as the corkscrew, again causes some amusement when you get him out to put into the end of the bottle, however he may offend some people and not be to everyone's taste. Personally I think Happy Man does an excellent job of keeping my alcohol fresh. As with the Happy Man Corkscrew, my Happy Man Bottle Stop is made from the same bright red shiny plastic, he has the same smiley face consisting of 2 slightly raised eyes and a smiling mouth which is cut out of the plastic. He stands with his legs spread apart and his arms out stretched, as with the corkscrew other than his face there is no other actual detail (for example fingers or toes) Happy Man is of a decent size measuring at 8.5cm x 8cm x 6.5cm, but not too bulky that he is difficult to store, his shape also makes him easy to grip when removing him from a bottle. I wondered whether the shiny plastic he was made from would make him a bit slippery to grip when removing him from a bottle top, but this was not the case his outstretched arms and legs made him easy to keep hold of and easy to remove. Happy Mans stopper can only be described as a large plastic willy with 2 black rubber rings around it. The stopper is shaped so that it will fit into most bottle necks including wine bottles and spirits, it may not fit some smaller or larger than average bottle necks. I have used my Happy Man in both wine bottles when we have not finished a whole bottle of wine and even in spirit bottles when I have lost the lid, the 2 rubber rings are designed to help keep the stopper in place giving it a better grip as well as a more secure seal helping to prevent any gaps between the bottle neck and the stopper. My Happy Man Bottle Stop has had a lot of use and so far I have been very pleased with him, he has kept half drunk bottles of wine and beer extremely fresh, and by creating a tight seal preventing any drink from being spilt should the bottle be tipped up, I am not saying that he creates such a tight seal that the bottle will not leak at all, but speaking from experience it certainly does help to prevent spillages, the 2 rubber rings help to create a strong air tight seal. I have used Happy Man in bottles of wine when the lids have got lost, meaning he may have been there for a couple of weeks, but each time I came to drink it it still tasted just as good and as fresh as it would have with its regular lid. Maintaining Happy Man is very simple, once you have finished with him simply wash him in some warm soapy water, there are no difficult parts to clean, I find that wiping him down with warm soapy water is enough to keep him in excellent condition. This item is not dishwasher proof and must not be put in the microwave, although I'm not sure why you would put a bottle stop in the microwave. As I have mentioned my Happy Man has been used several time and is still in excellent condition and looks as good as new, he is showing no signs of wear and tear. Happy Man was a Christmas present for me but I have done a bit of research and he can be purchased from places such as Amazon or www.findmeagift.com, Find Me a Gift is the cheapest place, I have seen him being sold at just £3.49 currently on sale, he should be £4.99 full price, personally I feel this is a fair price, Happy Man is hard wearing so is likely to last a long time as well as being a bit of a talking point, I would be happy to pay this price for him. I have been extremely pleased with my Happy Man bottle stop and would recommend him to anyone (or anyone he wouldn't offend) he is hardwearing and does an excellent job of keeping you wine/ beer bottle air tight and keeping the drink inside fresh. He is easy to maintain without any fiddly bits to keep clean, it also raises a smile every time I bring him out to use, he is well worth the money.
I bought the Happy man bottle stopper for my brother this christmas and he loved it. Obviously this product will raise some eyebrows, but it is just a fun little party gadget that you can laugh at. Aside from the aesthetics, this item does the job its meant to, and for me has done it quite well. I have tested the product on a number of different wine bottles in my house and it has fit all with ease. The rings around the circumference of his manhood provides a good seal in the wine bottle so that it does not just slide out. When you want to remove the product from the bottle the shape provides easy holding positions to grip and with a pull the item can be removed pretty easily. I bought this from firebox for £5 including delivery which is expensive for the product. Elsewhere like Amazon and Ebay you can easily purchase the item for under £4 delivered which makes for a cheap party gift. I would recommend the product as a gift for anybody (who would appreciate this type of thing) as it is cheeky and practical at the same time whilst being cheap.
I bought my Paladone Happy Man Bottle Stopper at a car boot sale last week, along with the matching Happy Man Corkscrew. Both of the items were brand new and boxed so I imagine that this was an unwanted Christmas present bought for someone who didn't appreciate the cheeky humourous design. On Amazon these are currently selling for £2.99, with the corkscrew being £5.99. The bottle stopper isn't too expensive anyway, but I was lucky enough to find both of these items for 50p each, which I think is a complete bargain. The Happy Man bottle opener, much like the corkscrew, basically consists of a shiny red plastic man shape, similar to Morph the plasticine animated figure, with his arms and legs spread. No wonder the plastic man is happy, because he has a strategically placed large red bottle stopper appendage. What the bottle stopper part of this product is meant to represent I'll leave up to your imagination. This is obviously a silly, cheeky novelty item, but alongside the matching corkscrew, it has provided a talking point and has raised a few eyebrows and giggles since I've had it. Aside from his visual skills, the Happy Man Bottle Stopper is also very good at stopping bottles. On the stopper part of this little chap's anatomy, there are two rubber seals running full circle around it, which helps create a good seal when this part is inserted into a wine bottle top. For reviewing purposes (obviously!) I tested this out on several bottles of wine and found that he happily fit all the bottles I tested, with their normal, stardard sized necks. This happy plastic man's spread-eagled look makes him very easy to grip when you're pushing him in or pulling him out of your wine bottle, and he feels, sturdy and secure to hold. The actual red plastic bottle stopper part is moulded out of the same material as the body, so there is no risk of the bottle stopper appendage snapping off or getting stuck in your wine bottle. Overall, he's in very good condition and I can see him lasting a long time. Of course, as with the corkscrew, the design isn't going to be liked by everyone, it's very bold, quirky and a bit cheeky, but I like this novelty bottle stopper, so who cares. It's simple, effective at what it does and always gets a few laughs from guests who see it. Considering I paid just 50p for this brand new I think I got a bargain, and I'm happy with my cheeky, happy man purchase. At £2.99 brand new, this is also a more reasonable price than the £5.99 corkscrew.
Paladone Happy Man Bottle Stopper Isn't this the best and most fun looking bottle stopper you have seen? A friend of mine gave this to me and first I didn't even realise what it was because I was too surprised of what I saw. It's not something you see everyday... a happy smiling little man! Well it wasn't the only smiling man at the moment I unwrapped the little present because of course my friend was laughing his socks off. I have to say it goes into the category of best presents I have received. I know it's not an expensive gift but a gift doesn't always need to be expensive in order to be good. This little gift still puts a smile on my face and people who are around to see it and for me that makes it a perfect gift. Can you think of a gift that still makes you smile after a few months you got it? Anyway the Paladone Happy man is a bottle stopper and is a great replacement for a cork. As seen on the picture provided by Dooyoo, you can see it's a very happy looking man with a big smile and big waving hands. The hands really give me the impression that he's in a very happy state. In the middle of the little man is the 'cork' positioned that actually goes into the bottle. Around the 'cork' are two rubber rings making it a perfect fit in the bottle. The little man is made of plastic and as you can tell on the picture, it's bright red. The measurements are 11cm x 10cm x 5cm, giving it a somewhat smaller 'cork' then you normally see but size doesn't say everything and it is still perfect for the job. The little man proves to be very handy and he becomes my favourite little man after having that half of bottle of wine... We have all been there and luckily he is there to save the day and by rescuing the wine. I saw on the internet you can buy this little fellow for around 2,30 pounds!
