Carolina Herrera aftershave is superb. Smell - Its a very fresh smell, quite dissimilar from 212 Sexy Men which I also love, its unique and the closest comparison i could give is with Clinique for men that used to come in the orange bottle. Its airy and also sharp. Price - I paid £30 for my bottle at duty free, its worth it as paying any less you do run the risk of getting a fragrance that is of lower quality and doesn't last as long. Carolina Herrera fragrances are really good value for money, nicely in between the 'top end' fragrances e.g Davidoff, Calvin Klien etc and the non branded stuff Suitability - The good thing about this fragrance is that you can wear it for work, on a night out or even on holiday. Its a really light but sharp smell that has a good lasting smell that you wont need to re-spray half way through the day The bottle is really sharp aswell and looks modern and fresh. Overall its a really good fragrance, i tend to use it more for nights out than work but would be suitable for all. Definitely value for money
I first stumbled upon this fragrance when a friend at work had it on. I spent the rest of the evening sniffing this scent in the air and wanting to get my hands on a bottle! I struggled to find it in the UK, that was until last summer, when Debenhams had some in stock. I was taken aback and immediately bought myself a bottle. I think I paid about thirty pounds for my 212 Blue. First off, be careful because there are a few 212 fragrances on the market, including a green one and they do have different smells. The On Ice Blue is the best of the bunch in my oinion though. The bottle came presented in a see through glass casing, I have since used the casing to store toothbrushes in, ingenious and practical! The spray has a pump on the top and you simply remove the lid and choose where to spray. I should mention that this is a very potent scent so one or two sprays is more than enough for any man. The smell is unique and powerful. There is a succulent blend of nutmeg and ginger offering some wonderful spicey flavours for the man who likes that deep resonating allure about him. But there are dashes of mint and cardamom too which give it a zesty and smouldering edge. The smell really does grab you then knock you for six when you first smell it. One of the most original scents that I have stumbled across and one of the most eyebrow raising. I wear mine for nights out as I feel for daytime it is too sensual and potent, but I guess a subtle trace could be worn in the daytime. My bottle has lasted me ages already and I would definitely buy this fragrance again. You buy it from shops and also online, at around thirty pounds for 100ml.
