Kenwood FP 196.
At Christmas I usually get money sent by relatives as they live far away and I always like to save it until the January sales so that I can get something nice for the kitchen , bathroom or bedroom. Its my little treat for myself and this year I bought a Kenwood FP 196.
I have wanted a liquidiser for quite a while now, so I was really happy to find this all in one food processor at Comet for half price in the sale, it was supposed to be £79. 99 but I got it for £45.00 in the sale.
It's a nice black and silver model which sits nicely on the kitchen top in kitchen and matches my silver tea coffe and sugar set, as well as my kettle and toaster.
Its easy to use and comes with 12 months guarantee and a booklet which tells you how to use it, which is easy to read and shows you step by step how to assemble it and which attachments are used for each tasks you want to perform.
The liquidiser sits on the left hand side and has a large button at the bottom to switch it on, when you want to use the mixer or blender you can remove it and put the cover on the top and use the mixing bowl on the right hand side.
It will blend, pulse, mix, liquidise, juice, crush ice, pulp, shred, whisk and chop vegetables or fruit. I think its and amazing bargain for the kitchen and am so happy with it.
It has a 1 litre liquidising capacity so you can make lovely smoothies and the mixing bowl is 1.4 litres so you can mix ingredients for cakes, biscuits and grate cheese and other vegetables.
It is also dishwasher safe so you can put the plastic bowls or liquidiser and attachments in the dishwasher after use, but be careful of the blades as they are sharp.
I have made smoothies and cakes with my new machine and I am very happy with it, it mixes better than I can by hand with a wooden spoon and the smoothies come out nice and smooth without lumps, I especially like banana milkshakes made with this and it has helped me to get back on track with my cooking and dieting, as a smoothie for lunch instead of a sandwich, bag of crisps and chocolate fills me up and is tasty.
If you have the money then I'd recommend buying one, as its guaranteed for a year you can't really go wrong.
It is very versatile and soups are another one of its many tempting delicious things you can make with it, I'm happy with it and sure you would be too.
