Great under top to wear for the gym with extra support

As part of my resolution to look more glam for the gym, I discovered the JD Sports Pure Simple range of clothes. I have previously reviewed the Pure Simple Sport Essential Vest which I love. I am now reviewing the Pure Simple Sport Pulse Vest. The vest comes in 2 colours, black and aquatic blue. It is 94% polymide and 6% elastane making it nice and stretchy. It has a racing back and a an inner supportive top. It has the small brand logo on the hem, and a very faint small diamond pattern strip in the same colour from the neckline to the hem - I hadn't noticed it until I started examining the top more closely for this review. The top is a very snug fit which I quite like as it holds my lumps and bumps in. I wear this under the Essential Vest as added bust support, and a splash of colour against the grey top. I have a fairly large bust (34DD) so continue to wear a sports bra underneath as I would not find it supportive enough on its own. I once read that people with large busts should wear two sports bras which I always do now, and this takes the place of the second one and looks good too. I like to go running, and have worn this top several times. I really like it due to the support given, but find that it does ride up and I have to keep pulling it down to cover my stomach (hence the vest on top) so if you are intending to wear it on its own, it may not be ideal. The sizing is also an issue. I am a larger size 12, and the tops come is 6-8, 10-12 or 14-16. The 14-16 was too big and gave no support, whereas the 10-12 fits snugly, but the small size could be the reason it rides up. Overall it is quite a snazzy looking sports top, offering invisible extra support. I must like it as I brought both colours, but it is not without its faults. It suits me as an under top to the wonderful vest, but may not be to everybody's taste as it is so tight. A sports bra can set you back £20 +, so at £15 I find this a great cheaper alternative to wearing two. The Pure Simple range is great, and hopefully they will add more to it soon, and increase the sizes available. Thank you for reading. Rachel
