“ Brand: George / Type: Womens Top „
This was another addition to my work wardrobe which I purchased during a shopping spree in Asda. It caught my attention because although it's black and white, it's quite eye catching and lively due to the pattern, and I usually wear boring colours for work so I thought it would brighten my wardrobe up a bit. The top cost £9 and is available in sizes 8 to 24. It is made from 96% viscose and 4% elastane, and although it clings a little bit around the belly area, the pattern deflects attention away from this so it's not unflattering and it doesn't show all your lumps and bumps. The neckline of this top is very flattering, due to the cowl neck. This basically means it has a bit of excess material which kind of dips, and reveals a little bit of flesh on your chest without going full-on cleavage. The top is sleeveless, so I only wear it on sunny days or when I have a cardigan I can take to work with me. It's quite long in length so it covers my belly and beyond, and just skims the top of my bottom. The pattern is quite eye catching, and is quite nice for wearing at work. It makes me feel smart without having to go to the effort of ironing a blouse. It's comfortable to wear and the elastane in the top makes the fabric really nice and stretchy so it covers your lumps and bumps. The top washes well at 40 degrees, although it's recommended to be washed at 30 degrees. If you hang it up to dry, the creases drop out, so personally I don't bother ironing this. Even if there are a few creases left, you can't really tell because of the pattern. Obviously, if you scrunch it up into a ball to dry, or leave it in the washing machine because you've forgotten about it, you'll probably need to run over it with the iron. The top has to be ironed on a low temperature due to the fabric. Overall, I am very happy with this addition to my work wardrobe, and would recommend this top as good value for money.
