For Christmas, not the one that has just passed but the one before, I was given an Arsenal Bar Scarf as a present by more boyfriend. As I am an avid fan, I was really chuffed with this gift and wear it every time that I go to the Arsenal games as it always seems to be freezing and chucking it down with rain when I go.
*About the Product*
Arsenal Bar Scarf is a traditional scarf sold by the club that has two colours (usually red and white) although others are now available that alternate in colour.
*Price and Availability*
Arsenal Bar Scarf retails at £7. Quite a reasonable price I think you'll agree. It is a similar price to those that you buy in Primark and H&M and twice as nice. And a good price, especially as when you live in the UK you get quite a lot of use out of scarves as it is always so cold!
You can purchase this scarf from any of the official Arsenal stores although if you prefer to shop online then you can visit www.onlinestore.arsenal.com. Alternatively, I have recently seen this scarf and the other variations pop up for sale on amazon recently so you can even buy it via their website.
The packaging: It annoys me when products like scarves have a box and masses of packaging to go with it. This is not the case with this product. When you buy the Arsenal Bar Scarf you will find that the only packaging it has is a small piece of cardboard which the scarf is attached to via a piece of plastic.
The Arsenal Bar Scarf: There are a number of different designs for this scarf including different colours (red, pink and even blue I think) and different badges sewn into the end. The scarf that I was given is pink and white stripes. It is not plain though. On the last bar of each end of the scarf is an embroidered Arsenal badge. I think this adds to the quality of the scarf and it is what makes it different from being just like any other scarf that you can buy. Also, at each end of the scarf, there are thin pink and white tassels along the edges.
The scarf is slightly shorter than the other scarves that I own but that isn't necessarily a bad thing as they tend to be a little too long. It wraps nicely around you neck once with enough of the scarf to hang and tuck into your jumper or coat.
Does it keep you warm? Yes it does indeed. In fact it is one of the warmest scarves that I have worn. It has to be to keep me from being cold whilst watching the football at the Emirates.
Longevity of the product: Like I said, I was given this scarf as a present by more boyfriend over a year ago and other than being a tad dirtier as I haven't washed it recently it is in perfect condition still. I think it could still have another year or two in it before it starts to look a tad tatty which is pretty good in my eyes.
*Would I Recommend This Product?*
Arsenal Bar Scarf is a product that I highly recommend. There are a number of great colours and different badges that you can buy, all of which are extremely high quality and I think look great.
If you are looking for a nice looking scarf that is girly and has a link to Arsenal then I recommend the Arsenal Bar Scarf in pink. As with all Arsenal products, I would only recommend this to Arsenal or neutral football fans.
I love my pink Arsenal Bar Scarf and I have since bought a matching woolly hat to go with this scarf. I am very disappointed with Arsenal merchandise as they don't have a pair of gloves to complete my set so I make do with my plain pink gloves from Primark but this is something that I recommend that look into doing as they are missing out! Purchase this scarf for £7 and you won't be sorry as you'll get plenty of wear out of it whilst looking good too. A win win situation.
