I bought this hoover as a birthday gift for my friend's 3 year old little girl.
I can't give the exact measurements but please be aware that it is a lot smaller than it looks on the picture, therefore, although it is recommended for 3 years and above, I would recommend it for 2-4 year olds due to the length of the hose.
The vacuum is plastic and it is different shades of pink with flower stickers and a picture of Barbie's face on the base.
The vacuum comes with polystyrene balls which can be scattered on the carpet and sucked up with the vacuum, they can then be seen through a cover in the base. The balls swirl around.
It also has vacuum cleaner sound effects and a light on the top which lights up when switched on.
My friends little girl loves the Hoover, it is lightweight so easy for her to play with and carry, and she loves to pretend to hoover with her mummy.
Mummy is not too impressed with the polystyrene balls though and they ended up in the bin after a week!
The vacuum requires 3 x C batteries which came included with the one I bought.
Grab a argain as it is on offer in Argos for just £9.99
I think my daughter must have got the idea from looking through the Argos catolague, but for 6months all I heard was... 'mum for my birthday I want a pink hoover' she was due to turn 4 her next birthday.
so nearing the time, my sister asked me what to get her, and I told her about the obsession with the pink hoover - so thats what she decided to get!
She said it took her a while but she eventually found a 'pink hoover' in Argos they sold a pink Lexibook barbie vacuum cleaner at £16.99.
Mt daughter was over the moon and immediatly started 'hoovering the house!'
The hoover is pink, has some flowery stickers on, a hose and a proper tube with hoover peice at the end - you can remove this and just use the hose too though.
Included, was small white polystyrine balls - this is the only thing the hoover really picks up as they are so small and light. However not very safe with my then 8month old baby crawling around so unfortunatly after 2 weeks of shouting ' take them upstairs please' and a babys nappy full of them - they got binned, but she still uses the hoover loads and hoovers regulary!
A great toy to get your child 'helping' and 'joining in' the house work!!
Fun but be wary of the small balls if younger siblings...
Barbie vacuum cleaner with trendy colours! Thanks to its nice wheels, it is easy to vacuum everywhere, even in narrow places. Light effects illuminate the vacuum cleaner when activated and the angle of the handle can be adjusted according to the girl's height and how she wants to vacuum.
