“ Manufacturer: ELC / Type: Kitchenwares - Toaster „
My daughter had been bought a Little Tikes kitchen for Christmas, so asked for lots of kitchen pieces for her. I liked the look of the Early Learning Centre pieces, so asked for these. Why oh why did I bother? I had got her a few pieces of Early Learning Centre toys before, and hadn't been happy with them, so not quite sure why I asked for more!
The only good thing about this toaster is it is bright and colourful.
The toaster worked initially; you push down the sliding button then turn the time dial and it pops up by itself and the bread flies out. However, it worked for about two days. Each time the toaster was dropped it would stop working. Sometimes, my husband would fix it, then my daughter would just use it a few times and it would stop working. We exchanged the toaster a total of six times in the Early Learning Centre until I just could not be bothered any more.
I also think the Early Learning Centre need to look at safety of the products. My daughter easily trapped her little fingers in the toaster, and she also kept catching her fingers under the bit you pull down. The toaster is also very easy for children to 'post' other toys into, therefore renders the product useless. I know children should be discouraged from doing this, but children will be children!
All in all, another rubbish ELC product.
