      ==Boots No7 Lift and Luminate Eye Cream==

      The Boots No7 range is a favourite of mine mainly because there are often good special offers on the products but also because a get a 10% discount in Boots and the range of products do usually work well on my skin.

      This Lift and Luminate Eye Cream really caught my attention because of the fact the box claimed that the cream "visibly firm, lifts, and brightens skin around the eyes in four weeks!". Now I am always rather conscious of my dark circles and am forever trying to find a product which does actually reduce the appearance of these so armed with the No7 £5 money off voucher and my discount card I took the tall slim box to the counter.

      The box of the eye cream has a little leaflet with instructions of use and information about the range of products from the No7 brand. Both the outer box and the leaflet can be recycled but the tube inside cannot. The tube of the product is a little bit annoying because it cannot be stood up and has a pointy screw cap and a pinched bottom meaning that unless you keep the cardboard box (which I have done) you have to lay the cream down thus when coming to the end of the tube it is difficult to use every last drop.

      The directions for use are simply "Close your eyes, dot on and gently blend the cream around their contours" This is simple to do and not much of the cream is needed to cover the area of both eyes which meant that my tube has lasted me well over two months and I still have a few applications left!

      The cream inside the tube is very white in colour and the aroma of the product is only slightly there but does have rather feminine smell to it. The cream is light in consistency and sinks in well to the eye area and doesn't leave a build up on the skin unlike some of the other eye creams I have tried.

      It is gentle to use and even on this delicate area there is no irritation in the slightest. I wear contact lenses and some creams can interfere with the clarity of my sight but this eye cream is not one of those as it sinks into the skin quickly leaving a soft and nourished skin area.

      So on the whole as a moisturising eye cream the product is pretty good however on the claim that this should improve the look of dark circles, I personally have seen no amazing improvement. As with all the products I have tried that have this claim there never really does seem to be much improvement and to be honest I wasn't expecting too much anyway.

      Overall I have to say that I liked this cream but at the full retail price of £17.50 pence I can't say that I would be rushing out to buy it again as although it was pleasant to use there was nothing impressive about it and for that reason a feel a 3 out of 5 stars is in order and a very slight recommendation!

      I do hope that this has been of some help/interest to you.

      Many thanks for taking the time to read.
