      A great home spa experience

I received two sets of puffy the eye bag slayer wake up under eye patches in my January glossy box. I have had other items from beauty boxes by the brand anatomicals and had mixed results.

      In use
I inspected the packaging for these carefully. For starters it took me a few minutes to claw my way in to the well sealed envelope, which was glued and had a sellotape sticker on it. The box contained two applications of the under eye patches which I thought was good.

      The claim
These will reduct dark circles, eliminate puffiness, enriched with moisturising agents, will prevent signs of under eye agin.

      In use
These patches were sealed in a container and are soggy with liquid. What is really funny is how they feel like rubbery egg whites! They are shaped to fit under your eye and are designed to stick to your face for the duration. You have to wear them for 30 minutes ensuring that your skin is clean, dry and cleansed before use.

      Packaging
Anatomicals products are always packaged in a fun way. These promise oe make you look less undead, and whilst they are fun, the directions are straightforward and clear with diagrams demonstrating the use of these under eye patches.

      Price
A three pack of these is £6.00 and you can buy them from asos.com.

      My thoughts
I had quite low expectations of these under eye tratments but actually I was pleasantly surprised by this home spa experience. The patches were easy to apply, and very moist without making liquid run down my cheeks. The liquid felt cooling on my skin and made my eyes feel relaxedd and treated. The patches did evaporate a little during use and the packet strictly advises against reuse which is good for delicate eye areas I think.

      Final word
I really enjoyed using this treatment and look forward to using the second set. The only bit I found hard to get used to was the consistency of the material they are made from, really not sure about that! Results wise, they definitely did improve the look of my skin around the eye area which is constantly challenged by a full time job and two children under the age of three! Would I rebuy? Yes, I probably would although it'd be a treat rather than something I'd use on a weekly basis. Highly recommended and fun to use.

        Hmm I Dont Really Recommend.

Since I was out of work for quite a while before getting my current job I could sleep whenever for as long as I wanted. So you can imagine my looks started to go mad when I was waking up very early in the morning and not getting to bed until late at night again - that took some getting used it. But all those early mornings and late nights did start to take their toll on my face - bags, puffy eyes and dry skin were just a few things I started getting that I hadnt had before so I started buying products that would hopefully make me look a bit more awake for work and thats when I cam accross this 'Puffy The Eye Bag Slayer Mask' on amazon and it sounded like just the thing I was after so I bought it straight away hoping that it would get rid of the puffy eyed look that Id had lately! I still cant make my mind up on this product now - it does work but I dont think the results are THAT astonishing!

        Useful Information:
Price: Around £4.50 - shop around though!
Stockists: Amazon, eBay, New Look & I think most chemists stock this 'Anatomicals' brand.
Other Info: This product promises to reduce redness and puffiness around your eyes that can be caused by tiredness and also helps your eye area to appear more refreshed & cool - it something Ill be using during the summer as well when the hayfever hits me!

This looks in real life just how it appears on the image with this review - so if your buying online like I was what you see is what you get. This product is designed the same way as a sleep eye mask - straps round the bak of your head and covers the eyes and the area around them. I think this only comes in one size but I think that will be good for most people as the string is really stretchy on the bak of your head. The mask is made from a red, plastic material with the name of the product written on the front in contrasting white lettering. Inside the mask is the gel - it makes the texture of the mask remind me of a water bed or a gel bra and it does feel kind of strange against your skin and eyes at first BUT you do get used to the feeling very quickly. Now because this product is gel filled it means you will have to be careful - I wouldnt recommend sleeping in this OR being too rough with it because if the gel explodes its going to get in your eyes. So be careful when using this would be my advice.

To use this mask you simply pop it into the fridge and leave it there for 30 minutes before wearing it for as long as you like - I usually leave this on my eyes until it goes to room temperature again as its a great way to calm down and relax after work. You can wear this whenever you feel the need - I do this probably every other day but theres no limit on how many times to use this - as many times as you feel you need to. To be fair when this comes right out the fridge and you put it on it does instantly cool down my eyes - you know when your so tired your eyes start to burn, well this does stop that straight away which is one good thing but really the other results arent THAT amazing.

To a point this does stop your eyes from burning and my eyes do feel more refreshed after wearing this for about 20 minutes but all the other claims dont really happen for me when I wear this. I think it does reduce bags and puffiness a very small amount - it takes the edge off - but the puffiness is still noticable when Ive taken this off - I didnt expect this mask to get rid of them totally but I expected the results to be better and last a little bit longer. As thats another issue I have with this mask - the minor results dont even last that long. Id say the effects last about 2-3 hours on my face which for me just isnt long enough - I was hoping the results would last all day! If your looking for a miricle cure for puffy eyes then really dont bother with this as I think you'll be disappointed. Its a nice addition to me relaxing routine though and my eyes do feel more refreshed after using it - 3 stars from me.

        Thanks For Reading.
