      Coke is Best!

I grew up in a Pepsi household in a time when the cola wars were all over the television and radio. Everywhere you looked it was Coke or Pepsi. The lines were clearly divided. It was not until my uncle introduced me to Coca Cola that I knew what I was missing. I have loved the stuff since the first drink. The best drink on a cold day is a coke in a bottle straight out of the freezer. Nothing beats an ice cold coke. I remember my next door neighbor would sneak me Coca Cola in through my bedroom window. My parents were avid diet pepsi drinkers. I feel like such a rebel telling this story. Nothing tastes better than and ice cold Coke! I have to drink it from a can because it tastes better. When I went to Peru, I drank Coke everyday. The Coke was safe but the water was not. It was a taste of home. This is more than a Soda, it is a movement. I drink Coke to help settle my stomach when I get an upset stomach. I drink Coke when I have a good day or a bad day. It is true, for all the times of life, you cannot beat the real thing. The sweet taste of Coke is 2nd to none!

        Nice treat now and then

I am a coca cola addict! Love the stuff! So there are a variety of options, the can, the 500ml bottle and the 1L bottle. All bottles are clear with the red and white coca cola logo that is so well known. Be careful when you first open these bottles as they are very fizzy and if you don't get a mountain of fizz everywhere you most certainly will get an audible pop upon opening. The coca cola itself is a syrupy brown colour. As I'm sure most people are aware the sugar content is pretty high but I don't think diet versions taste the same. I don't like my Coke straight from the fridge as I find the coldness combined with fizz makes for an uncomfortable feeling on swallowing. I much prefer room temperature and allowing the fizz to disperse slightly before drinking to avoid the "fizz burn" Coke is a very sweet taste, not surprising with its high sugar content and is very unique. I couldn't get through the day without my coke fix which is quite worrying considering it is also high in caffeine, so be careful. I would recommend coca cola but only on a moderate basis.

        Always coca cola.

My all time favourite drink. Coca-cola is a timeless classic that's been around as long as the dinosaurs. I generally drink out of the cans so this review relates to that. As you all probably know It comes in its signature red 330ml can with coca-cola written down the one side and a list of ingredients, nutrition information, contact details and storage details on the other. To me coke has a very unique flavour and is a flavour that no one else seems to be able to match. I've tried every other brand of coke in the world to Tesco value, to Pepsi, to market stall made coke and non come even close to being as good as coca-cola. Coke has a rather fruity flavour with maybe a hint of a natural taste and its brown in colour. Coke is also a fizzy drink and is very high in caffeine and calories with 139kcal in a single can which is 7% of a women's daily intake of calories. Its also high in sugar having 35g which is again a very high 39% of the recommended daily amount. That still doesn't stop it being my most preferred drink as well as many others people too as 1.7 billion servings of Coke products are consumed every day (that's a lot of coke). Coke has always been a favourite of mine but the fact it is so high in sugar and calories really lets it down so it sadly looses one star for this but there is nothing better than an ice cold coke on a hot summer day, yummy.

          Hits the spot

Coca Cola Somebody needs to invent a healthy coca cola! I am currently trying to wean myself of this drink because I am so addicted to it. Introduced in 1886 Coca Cola is one of the most popular, iconic, well known drinks companies in the world. You will struggle not to find it in any shop, bar, restaurant, vending machine....it is just everywhere! Its available in cans, 500ml bottles, one and two litre bottles and 1.5 litre sharing size bottles. You can also buy it in the retro glass bottles which every one seems to love but I find them difficult to drink out of without a straw. I usually buy coke from one of my local supermarkets when they have an offer such as 2 for £2, my local shop has them on offer at 2 for £3 which is still a pretty good deal for four litres of the good stuff. The taste of coca cola is just fantastic. Sugary, sweet, fizzy....I love to drink it on its own, mixed with a spirit or with a meal it just goes with every thing. My favourite time is in warm weather when you pour it in a glass over ice and drink with a straw, it really hits the spot. I also enjoy coca cola when its gone a bit flat which most people find really weird. The obvious downside is the sugar content of the drink, bad for the teeth and health in general. A standard can of 330ml has 140 calories in it so since starting a diet I am really trying to avoid it.

Hate the taste but love its cleaning power!

I hate to drink CocaCola. . .I love a good cuppa. However I do love to have a bottle of coke in the house sometimes for guests but mainly to help with cleaning. I always look for when Coca Cola is on offer such as two for £2 which often happens in many of the supermarkets. Here are some of the few ways that I use coke Cleaning burnt pans Last week I was using a saucepan to steam some veg as I was distracted I did not realise that it had run dry until the smoke alarm alerted me. I was upset at the thought of throwing away my very burnt pan so I filled it with CocaCola and left it over night. The next day with a bit of a scrub the pan came up like new. Cleaning clothes My son is always dropping food down his front and it can sometimes leave greasy marks. If you pour a little coke on the mark then pop it in the washing machine with your normal powder/cycle you will find that the mark has either gone or faded a great deal. Cooking I have only cooked one recipe with CocaCola and was gammon. Place the gammon in CocaCola& then coat it with mustard & brown sugar & studded it with cloves. It gives it a lovely sweet sticky coating. Cleaning windows and windscreen In the winter the car winscreen gets really mucky. Pour coke ovr it and it helps to clean off all the stubborn marks. Make sure you wipe it afterwards with a damp cloth because you do not want a stick windscreen. It is also great for wiping over your windows but again wipe it over with a damp cloth. Cleaning the toilet If you pour coke down the toilet then leave for a few hours then flush it will come up lovely and clean. Toothfairy The toothfairy soaks her coins over night before leaving them under pillows so that they are very shiny special coins. Upset tummy Flat CocaCola helps if you have an upset tummy. Fun explosive game If you take a mento wrap it in a piece of tissue and drop into coke bottle. Move out the way quickly. The tissue will dissolve and as the coke reacts with the mento a huge fountain/explosion of coke will happen! Great for showing kiddies on a spare day in the holidays.

            Disadvantages

A very nice drink that is consumed in most households and considered by many as the best.

coca cola is with out a doubt the most known and most drunk soft drink in the world as this famous brand has rocketed to fame though out the years by offering a great tasting drink at a reasonable price. And here is a fun fact, believe it or not coca cola was patented in the 19th century as a medicine as it contained caffeine which is good for head aches!!!! I personally buy coca cola as my main soft drink quite regularly especially nowadays as my local asda are doing a 2 for £2 special offer in the 2L version. I do enjoy the very moreish taste of coca cola that is made from the supposedly top secret recipe that has shot coca cola into huge success however I am aware of the danger of tooth decay so I try to keep the consumption at a low. Another thing with coca cola is that it can cause a delay on the time you fall asleep as it does contain caffiene which is well known for being a stimulant that is sure to keep you awake for a few more hours than usual, but I have known people who are not affected by this what so ever.

              Advantages

              Disadvantages

              A nice drink in moderation.

Last night was takeaway night in the H household, to keep costs down I popped around the local shop to pick up a couple of bottles of pop rather than order them from the takeaway menu. I managed to pick up two 1.75 litre bottles of Coca Cola for £2, this was a bottle label offer and they would have been £1.75 individually so to me it made sense to buy two. Coca Cola is one of those drinks that seems to have been around forever in one form or another, and there are many varieties available. I personally believe the original Coca Cola is the best; it is followed in at a close second by Cherry Coke. As I don't allow fizzy drinks in the house, other than for takeaway night, I don't feel the need to opt for the Diet Coke option, especially as I don't like the artificial tang it has. Coca Cola is best served well chilled or poured over ice, not masses of ice just a few cubes, with or with out a chunk of lemon or lime. I find Coca Cola to be nice and refreshing and unfortunately very more-ish, especially with a dash of Dark Rum or Malibu. The taste of Coca Cola is very hard to describe, I find it to be very sweet with a slight hint of caramel and berry fruits, it is fizzy sharp and refreshing. Coca Cola is a carbonated beverage but I don't find it to be gassy, although my youngest daughter claims it gives her flatulence. Coca Cola does get some bad press at is supposed to be great for cleaning filthy toilets, metals and can dissolve a tooth if left in a glass of Cola. As with all junk foods and drinks moderation is recommended as there are 139 calories in a 330ml serving of Coca Cola and 39 grams of sugar. In conclusion Coca Cola is a great drink to have with a naughty takeaway or with a splash of your favourite tipple, but as with all nice things moderation is the key. Thank you for reading.

                Advantages

                Disadvantages

A tasty drink which is steeped in history

Coka cola is a soft drink which has been around for a long time, infact the original version was launched in 1886,and it was inventor John Pemberton who invented it,Coka Cola has dominated the soft drink market throughout the 20th century. There has been a lot of different versions made since it first started all those years ago, such as Cherry Coke,Diet Coke,Coka Cola Vanilla,Coka Cola Zero and many many others. It is produced by the Coka Cola company of Atlanta,Georgia and when it first came to be it was supposed to be made as a patent medicine until Coka Cola was bought out by business man Asa Griggs Andler, who had a whole different direction and agenda for this product. Coka Cola is now sold in every country around the world but not in Cuba and North Korea and is without a doubt up there competing as one of the most valuable brands around,it is in fact a 67 billion dollar, global empire which goes back over a hundred years and is steeped in history. The reason why Coka Cola is so popular and has dominated its rivals for so long is not just down to the taste,it is down to marketing and it is a fact that the Coka Cola company has its own lab for study and research on shopping Psychology, where they study the shopping habits of the general public in order to stay ahead in the market. One of there tactics is to get the consumer to associate good and happy times with the Coka Cola label as to get this brand stuck deeply into the consumers memory, they do this by spending lots of money on publicity and have catchy labels, different shaped bottles and have certainly had some catchy adverts over the years, even father Christmas on telly is always drinking a Cola and Coka Cola has even sponsored the world cup in 2010. In 1983 Coke Cola's sale's were down and this was due to a new rival,Pepsi which at the time was hitting coke's profits by selling it for cheaper, for the same price you would get twice as much Pepsi and this lead to the Coka Cola company changing the formula and trying to make it better but this back fired and there was a publc out cry of unhappy customers,so much so they gave in and changed the formula back, although Coka Cola refuse to change there bottle size, just the shape. It is true that in recent years Coke's demand has slid quite a lot, especially in America which is its biggest market, this is due to a new wave in people buying energy drinks and other new popular products available and it has been scrutinized and under pressure for being a unhealthy drink and is being blamed in the aid of America's obesity problems, but the Coka Cola company stands firmly by that this is not a unhealthy drink and if people drink it in moderation is perfectly healthy. This drink is really refreshing and great tasting,I think it tastes much better ice cold but can also be enjoyed at other temperatures, this is a drink that really goes down fantastic with a meal and I always buy a can of Coke to go with a meal when out eating, but I will admit the high level's of sugar do stop me personally drinking this drink from day to day but I did drink it most days as a youngster. Another reason why Coke is so popular is that it is a fantastic mixer for alcohol, many people for a long long time have mixed this carbonated drink with there alcohol, weather it be Vodka,Brandy or Whisky,a couple of ice cubes and some Coke and you have yourself a lovely alcoholic drink. Coka Cola has been with us for a long time and people love it,I am sure everybody has tried this drink by now but if you haven't I certainly recommend it.

                  Disadvantages

To sum it up, Coke is the best soft drink ever!

How can I put in words how tasty Coca Cola is? Well actions speak louder than words but I'll do my best. I've been drinking Coke since the tender age of 4, and I probably have atleast 1 can a day. Coke can be bought in many different ways, ranging from cans, small and large plastic bottles and even glass bottles. For the ultimate 'coke experience' I would recommend to try it from the glass bottle. The reason for this is that the coke stays the fizziest and freshest. There is no drink in the world that can claim to taste like coke. Many have tried and most have failed. It is a unique drink that will never get old. Believe it or not, Coca Cola actually only contains 0.000008 g of caffeine for every 100g. So don't let the thought of caffeine presence put you off. What I find very interesting about coke is that every country changes the ingredients slightly, from adding more sugar or less sweeteners. I'm from the UK and a can of coke now retails on average for around 55p, but obviously you can get better deals when buying in bulk. The only advise I would give on levels of consumption is try to limit the amount of coke you drink, as the fizzy aspect of the drink can be bad for your teeth, but like anything on this planet, moderation is key!!

                  coca cola- the 'real thing'

what is it about those glass bottles that improves the taste of coke so much, is it the rarity? the novelty? the fact they're disappointingly small? they're more expensive? or do they really just savour the best to put in those bottles. Even out of a can, a 500ml bottle, a 1.25L, 2l or 3l bottle it still tastes great though, sickly sweet caramel and a perfect level of bubbliness. The can's look great, so do the slightly larger bottles which emulate the classic shape of the glasses, the 2L bottles aren't so aesthetically pleasing, opting for the same flat sided shape as every other 2L bottle, I like the 3L bottles though for their sheer size and epic unwieldiness- try drinking straight out the bottle without pouring it all over your face. Coke takes a while to go flat- so buy the biggest bottle you can and you won't need to worry for a few days. You've no doubt tasted coke, so you already either like it or you don't- for me, pepsi is no comparison, and pepsi don't make me think of chrismas either, in fact pepsi just makes me think of being terrified on that big rollercoaster in Blackpool

                    Great drink for all

Coca Cola is one of those brands that no matter where you live in the world, not only is it widely available, but also an extremely popular soft drink. In addition to this, it is also one of the oldest soft drink brands around, first appearing on the market way back in the 1860s. Aside from the actual drink, the logo's and overall appearance of the can are famous worldwide, and you can walk into any local shop and instantly recognise a can or bottle of Coca Cola. As I have just mentioned, you can buy two variations of Coca Cole, firstly in the smaller can, and then in the larger sized bottles, which themselves comes in a number of different sizes. The taste of Cola is instantly recognisable, highly sweet tasting and fizzy, and in my opinion, it is best to enjoy Coca Cola straight from the fridge of poured over a glass of ice, as drinking it cold really is the best way. For years people have said that this drink contains too much sugar, but I personally think that it is the sugar content that makes this drink so enjoyable and is an amazing way to get a boost to your energy levels throughout the day. But saying that, like everything these days, drink it in moderation, as too much sugar can be harmful. When I was a kid, I would always go into the corner shop and buy a can on my way to school. These days though, I much prefer to get the larger bottle, as you get more of course, and it lasts that little bit longer. Plus with a bottle you can screw the cap back on and save it for later. There are three size's in the bottle that I have seen anyway. Firstly you can get the ever popular 500ml bottles, and then there are the share size 1.5L and 2L bottles which you can pick up from your local supermarket for roughly £2 depending on where you shop and if they are on offer. The cans are considerably cheaper costing about 50p. Although I am reviewing the original Coca Cola drink, I think that I should also mention here that there are although varieties on the market, each with their own flavours. There is the Diet, with a lower sugar content, and of course Cherry, which is quickly becoming a favourite of mine. Others out there also include, Zero and Vanilla which I cant stand. I have to admit that I am addicted to this drink, and normally you can see me with a can or bottle in my hand when out and about. I do buy the larger bottles when at home, and when served cold is one of the most refreshing drinks you can buy. Coca Cola definitely gets my recommendation. Thanks.

                    Disadvantages

94% of the worlds population can't be wrong with this product!

Coca-Cola is the worlds most popular and famous soft drink. With it's famous red and white logo being recognized by 94% of the worlds population, it really is hard not to know about this sugar filled beverage. Bottles of Coca-Cola can currently come in a variety of different sizes to fulfill the consumers needs. In handy 330ml bottles, as well as 500ml, 1.5l and 2 litre bottles they all have the same style of label with the red and white logo and ingredients list. I like the taste of coca-cola as it can be very refreshing served chilled on a warm summers day to quench your thirst. However i do feel that sometimes the drink can be a bit to sweet and it can make my teeth ache. Many would say that diet coke would be a suitable substitution to this although i would also like to complain that this can taste a bit like medicine after drink large amounts of it. pricing is very reasonable on these drinks as they can found with Buy One Get One Free offers in most supermarkets however without these offer some bottles of the 1.5 litre pop can be a bit pricey so a cheaper, store brand product may be a suitable replacement. If you've never tried Coca-Cola before, i would recommend picking up a bottle when you can, as im sure that 94% of the world population with 3.4% of all beverages being drank a day being Coca-Cola can't be wrong!

Tastes Good but not for everyday consumption

I shouldn't love it but I do!!! Coca Cola is a dark black carbonated soft drink. The Cola Cola brand is extremely famous and Coca Cola have a presence across the globe. The Coca Cola company own numerous drink brands including Fanta, 7 Up and Innocent to name a few. This review is for the Cola only The Taste The best thing about this is the taste, its delicious!!! The cola itself is very fizzy, very sweet and refreshing with that unmistakable "Cola" taste. This tastes like Cola should, rich and sweet and out classes the cheaper versions which I find to be a bit chemically, I am a self confessed sugar addict and this satisfies my sugar cravings instantly. This is best served cold or on ice. Coca Cola also makes an excellent mixer for vodka, whiskey and rum! Ingredients Varbonated water, sugar, colour (caramel E150d), phosphoric acid, natural flavourings (including caffeine). Nutritional information According to Coca Cola for each serving of 250ml there are 105 calories, 26.5g of sugar, 0g salt, 0g fat. In essence its just all sugar! Price This is a premium cola and is the most expensive on the market. The price depends on which size you buy but this would be c£1.30 for 500ml. In a pub you can pay up to £2 for 200ml, expensive! Anything Else Whilst this tastes good, the high sugar content means that it should be consumed as a treat only. I have also heard accounts that over consumption can lead to stained teeth due to the dark colour.

One of two cola drinks I would consider

I thought this might be a good time to write about this product as it's coming up to Christmas and I never officially think it's Christmas until I see a Coca Cola Christmas advert on the TV. I don't consider myself as someone who drinks a lot of fizzy juice. However, if I'm going to consider drinking a cola flavoured drink then it has to be Coca Cola (or another popular brand name which I will review) otherwise the taste just never seems right. It is the crème de la crème of Cola drinks, one which every drink company aspires to replicate. It is known throughout the entire world and more recently was heavily involved in London Olympics and Paralympics 2012 as a sponsor. FLAVOUR I find that compared to another name cola brand that Coca Cola has a bit more of a kick to it; it seems to taste a bit sharper than its main rival. So there are some occasions I would prefer to drink it over Coca Cola. But if authentic cola taste is what you're looking for then you can't get much better than this. DISTRIBUTION As with most soft drinks they are Coca Cola drinks come distributed in various types of packaging for your convenience. These usually range from small 250ml cans or bottles all the way up to large 2 litre bottles, perfect for events. VARIETIES Coca Cola have also experimented with their original product adding numerous additional flavours to the range such as vanilla coke and cherry coke. All these give the original coke taste with a twist. It is also available in Diet options for those who are more health conscious. OVERALL I have grown up with this for years and would be surprised if you have never heard or tasted it as it's so well known, which makes writing a review on it all the more difficult. If I wanted a great coke taste this is only one of two brands I would consider.
