“ Brand: Vivid Imaginations / Type: Doll Accessories „
This was first written on ciao and as I have just had a lot of points expire I am posting it as I originally wrote it. One day not long after Christmas I was in my local Woolworths store with my then 6 year old daughter. There in the middle of the store was this huge box with a big sign saying reduced................. Oh no my daughter had spotted it. It was 'The Bratz Pad' reduced from £199.99 to £99.99. She said "I am going to save up and buy that" "Ok" I say thinking yeah right ok. Anyway The Bratz Pad is now taking up space in my front room. The tallest point of the Bratz Pad stands at 3ft 11" (1m 19cm). It has 3 floors and a working lift. It has 2 sides on the house the rest is open. Each room is about 1ft 4" x 1ft 2 " (40cm x 30cm). Everything is made of plastic. ------------------ The Ground Floor ------------------- The ground floor is a beauty parlour. There is 15 shelves on one side which can accommodate some of the many accessories that came with the house. (brushes hairdryer make up make up brushes perfumes suitcase). The adjacent wall has the doors to the house. These are double doors with little windows in. Outside the doors are 2 big steps. At the side of the doors are big long windows. Attached to the beauty parlour is a round cafe bar (about 1ft 1" (32cm) in diameter) with working lights. It has an opening so a Bratz doll can serve and inside it has 2 shelves which go all the way round. These can accommodate accessories. (cups saucers coffee perculator different drinks the telephone) The dolls can stand around the bar (there are no seats). There are 6 hanging lights above the bar and the switch is in the middle of them. ------------------- The First Floor ----------------- Sitting on top of the cafe bar is a non working jacuzzi, which is just like a bowl. This room has a settee attached which can sit 2 Bratz and it can move in a circle. Above the settee is a working light. The switch is next to it. Behind the settee there is long clear strips which are like blinds that can be open or closed. On the other wall there is a curved window which opens out into a bed. Although a full size Bratz cannot lie down on it. ----------------- The top Floor --------------------- This is all open and has no walls or roof. There is just a little fence all the way round. ---------------- The Lift ----------------- The lift is attached at one corner and passes through all floors. The lift shaft is cylinder shaped and the lift goes inside this.(It is suitable to hold 2 Bratz). It has string attached to the top of the lift and to the top of the shaft. On top of this is a dial which you turn to make the lift work. This is the tallest point of the house. ------------ Miscellaneous ----------------- The Bratz Pad comes in lots of boxes inside a big box. It has to be put together but the instructions are fairly simple so it is not difficult to do. It uses 4AA batteries which are not included. The house is red grey and blue. The accessories are very tiny. I think £100 is over priced for this plastic thing and £200 would be taking the 'mick'. Having said that my daughter has hours of fun playing with this both on her own and with her friends. Although I wouln't recommend buying it at this price and don't rate it very high my daughter thinks it is great. So you would have to make you own minds up!! My daughter says "I am glad I saved up for it and I have fun playing with my Bratz in it. They now have a real house."
3 storey ultimate Bratz apartment with 5 themed rooms, working lights, hot tub and lift, plus tons of accessories. 4 x AA batteries required. Bratz sold separately. Colours and styles may vary.
