I bought this doll for my mate as a joke. She's 27 and a secret JLS fan. I bought the doll from a popular auction site but he was the real thing and he came boxed in a box like the one above. Aston is just under 30cms tall and he comes fully clothes in a shirt, jeans and shoes. You can "strip" Aston if you like, all of his clothes can be removed. I found this a little disturbing as the doll is aimed at young girls. Oh well. He doesn't come across as offensive or anything and the doll itself actually LOOKS like Aston. I remember buying a few of the Spice Girls dolls and they didn't look anything like them. At least Aston resembles the real Aston and he even comes with a bonus blue wristband for little girls to wear. I pinched the bracelet as I have VERY tiny wrists and it actually fits me! The doll is strong, sturdy and durable. I played around with him for a couple of days before giving him to my friend. I ended up falling in love with the doll and resented giving him away. His face is adorable and he has a really cheeky grin on his face. You just smile looking at him. Of course you can play with the doll or you can keep him boxed as he may be a collectors item in the future. The box is also quite strong and it holds the doll inside, like the Compare the Meekat boxes. I would recommend this doll. It'd make a lovely gift for a young JLS/ Aston fan.

A good toy for little JLS fans!

My five year old daughter is obsessed with JLS; Aston and Marvin in particular! They sell the whole range of JLS dolls in Tesco, so I simply had to buy her the Aston one. For £14.97, it isn't exactly expensive when you consider that Barbie's can be £30 or £40 a time. The JLS dolls are aimed at 5-8 year olds, but who knows? Maybe one day they will become collector's items if you keep them boxed and sealed! Aston's height is 29cm and he comes fully clothed with a shirt, jeans and shoes which are fully removable; my daughter likes to dress hers up in Barbie clothes! His limbs move and his head turns 360 degrees. He also comes complete with a blue wristband for your little girl to wear. JLS fans will appreciate this as blue is Aston's trademark colour! I actually do think the doll looks like the real person himself! He has a big, cheesy grin, a slanted tight afro haircut and is quite petite; just like the real man himself! This doll has not broken or split. I feel it is quite sturdy and solid. The clothes aren't annoyingly cheap and are easy to take of and put on again. So, if you have a JLS fan in your household, Take A Chance on a JLS doll!
