I bought this ball around a six months ago now from Petplanet. I can't remember exactly how much I paid for it but it was under a tenner. The current retail price is around the £5.00 mark which for an interactive toy does seem like a reasonable price, but the fact that it doesn't actually make noises unless it is banged really hard on the floor makes it pretty useless as an interactive toy and I'd recommend just buying a squeaky tennis ball instead. It is easily available and a range of pet shops and online retailers sell it. The first thing that I noticed when I got this ball was the size of it. I ordered it online and had expected a small football sized ball but it is actually not that much bigger than a tennis ball - I was a little dissapointed to be honest. It is a good size for my dogs to easily carry in their mouths though and it isn't so small that it is a choking hazzard or anything. The ball is brightly coloured with a purple, orange and green colour scheme. It has green paw print detailing on it as well as some hole shaped indentments. I'm unsure what the point of these is to be honest but they do not effect how the ball rolls along the floor or anything. The ball has 'wiggly giggly' written on it and it is easy to spot amongst their other toys. The ball is made of a hard and durable plastic and it is not squeezable. The ball comes with the batteries already inside and there is no way of changing them, nor is it possible to turn the ball off to prevent it making noises. My dogs loved this ball at first as for the first few days it would make loud burping and giggling noises whenever it was carried or rolled around which made my dogs really excited and they loved chasing it around, barking at it and pouncing on it but after a few days of being played with for 30 minutes or so per day the noises completely stopped. I then noticed that the ball would make a brief noise if one of the dogs dropped it on the wooden floor or patio but it would not make a noise when rolled or shaken. In my opinion this is really rubbish longevity and I am not at all impressed. My dogs can still play fetch with it and the plastic is strong and good quality but I am very dissapointed by how quickly the noise function stopped working properly. Overall, I don't recommend this ball and I give it two out of five stars.
