      wouldn't buy another

This dishwasher was put in last year when we had the kitchen redone. We knew we wanted another inbuilt one as they look far neater and make the kitchen appear less cluttered. Our kitchen fitter recommended this one as he could get a good discount from the supplier £250. We were unsure of the product at 1st but went along with it hoping that if we had any issues we could take it up with the kitchen company.

Inside the dishwasher looks pretty similar to any other. There are 2 levels. The top one being mainly for cups and glasses. The bottom one being mainly for pans, cuttlery and plates etc. There is also a pot for salt and rinse aid. These are essential for this diswasher (my old dishwasher worked fine with very little salt and rinse aid - this one sucks it in like a fish!)

There are 5 programmes depending on what type of wash you want to do. I almost always have it on the intense wash, anything less doesn't seem to clean the pans and sometimes the plates. This means the dishwasher is on for close to 2 hours at a time. Annoying when you have more than 1 load to do.

The noise is minimal on this dishwasher but I do worry how economical it is being that I have to have it on the long cycle. The inside metal on the door is also pretty thin and it now has a few dints from banging up on the trays. I think this is a problem that could easily have been avoided with thicker metal.

Overall I think this is an OK dishwasher but I wouldn't rush out to buy it, or another indesit product again. Until it breaks it will stay but it certainly is an annoying piece of kit.
