Avoid HI(Anglia)ltd of Shortthorn road Norwich at all costs. Sub standard and inadequate foundations only 200mm deep when 1mtr is good practice. Failed to use engineering bricks up to damp course resulting in crumbling and damaged brickwork. Wall had to be rebuilt after movement and despite numerous requests, window sills and trim never refitted. Poor roof design meant restricted opening of existing window. Door handle and locks failed. Gaps between brickwork and windows. Additional ongoing problems too numerous to list. HI(Anglia)Ltd have failed in nearly every respect in the "building" of my conservatory. I have no choice other to completely demolish and rebuild using a company who know what they're doing. Don't waste your money.
Avoid buildmain for your new conservatorySubcontracted groundworks are substandard with corners cut using excuse its exempt from buiding regulations. Poor floor slab finish caused floor tile installers problems. new drains intalled block frequently electrics dont work and will not supply electrical safety certificate. Promised after sale service does not materialise.
I also had it. The whole process was swift and professional. We received a quote on Tuesday, accepted the quote on Thursday and the installation was completed by 7.30pm on Friday. The installers were very helpful, pleasant and took a pride in their work. The completed roof is a delight and we are exceptionally pleased with the finished product
The two men Terry and Scott were very pleasant, they carried out the insulation to a very high standard. My wife and I have not been in our conservatory since October, but we were back in it the next day. It is quiet when it is raining and nice and warm when the central heating is on in the cold weather. THANK YOU, Insulated Conservatories.
2013 Worst decision we have ever made. If you are thinking of using them then walk away now. Do not sign anything, do not listen to the salesman.
We had the insulated ceiling, because as many, our conservatory was freezing cold in winter and boiling hot in summer. After a long search for solution, we found a company called Insulated Conservatories, who would install some kind of insulation on our conservatory roof, and then finish it with white cladding. I had my doubts, but must say this stuff works perfectly. It transferred our conservatory into a usable room. You could not have asked for anything better. Staff and workmanship first class, clean and tidy. I would definitely recommend them to anyone, who owns a conservatory. An insulated ceiling is a must have.
I also noticed that it is also cost effective, because we used to heat the conservatory using a heater, and we were literally burning money in there. Now the bills dramatically dropped.
I also had great experience with the office staff, The survey people and the installers. All very nice and friendly.
From initially reading the literature relative to an insulated conservatory ceiling, we were sufficiently interested to request a quotation. We were visited by a company's representative, who explained in detail what the work entailed, the probable time it would take and finally the cost. This seemed very acceptable relative to the work required. At no time was an instant decision requested and no pressure was put upon us to make a purchase. We placed our order within a day, having considered thoroughly and then waited for the work to begin. This was carried out on time, with no mess and with great care and skill by very courteous fitters. The whole experience was one of great satisfaction with both the politeness of the staff and the quality of the workmanship. Highly recommended.
Please do not waste your money on a conservatory from Leekes. 5 years on after having ours built and we are still having problems. One wall had to be re-built as it was letting in damp, and the problem is still there. I do not think they use qualified trades people. They have never used a Surveyor to diagnose the problems, it is just all below standard and not fit for purpose.
Banbury doors and windows took 13 weeks to complete the job. The job was initially done to a very poor standard walls were not built square. Cills were incorrectly cut not fitted square on not aligned meaning that the door was not fitted square. A roof truss was cut to short but still fitted flashing was not chased in but stuck with silicone the gutter leaked into the conservatory and the down pipe was incorrectly positioned, all was eventually put right after considerable stress time and worry. All of the above was brought to their attention by myself they had no quality control in place. Don't go there.
Just wanted to say we were really impressed with this company. They fitted our whole house with windows and doors last year and we have returned as the service was so professional for a new conservatory. Couldn't be happier.
Just had my rear windows fitted by South Coast Windows, great job, 3.5 weeks from order to completion. Fitters were clean & tidy, even borrowed my Dyson for a final vacuum, the place is tidier than before they started! Well down South Coast, you've got my vote. Will definitely use you for the front when I have the money.
Absolutely Brilliant - Our conservatory was planned, built & erected quickly & efficiently, & the extra space has transformed our home. The care & attention to detail from start to finish was excellent. Would recommend to everyone & have already done so to our neighbour!
Our decision to employee Leekes to erect a conservatory was the worse mistake we ever made. It took them 6 months to put up a bog standard small conservatory. The sub contract builder who put up the base and the wall was hopeless and we had to get part of the wall rebuilt. The tile floor was a complete mess and had to be cut up with a disc cutter and relaid. The mess was incredible!!!! These are just two of the may problems we had. DO NOT USE YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
We ordered a conservatory and had a horrible experience dealing with Windor. The project management was pathetic with us doing the constant follow up and the organisation responding with blunt 'take it or leave it' messages. It took more than 5 months to finish the work which was promised to be finished in 6 weeks from the sign off date! Even now the electrical certificate has not been provided. The quality of work leaves much to be desired, the fitter for lamination refused to work as the finish of the ground was terribly bad. The wooden skirting warped and popped out within an hour of fitment and we were forced to go with MDF. We dread that we may have to deal with them again for after sales service and some of the other messages on the reviewcentre makes us feel all the more so.
Terrible organisation, please please stay away and it is worth paying a couple of thousand more rather than endure this pathetic organisation and its management.
It was a big mistake choosing this company, we now have the expense of having to get another company to put their work right. It has been an experience that I would not want to go through again, I would not wish this company on to my worst enemy
