Paisley, the largest town in Scotland, home to Glasgow Airport and to the mighty, St. Mirren. Paisey, often shadowed to neighbours Glasgow a mere 7 miles away, is a town with a very historical background. The paisley pattern, was a swril shape that was produced in the Cotton Mills, last Century and put pailsye not only on a National Map but Internationally. Paisley, was one of many Runners for Millenium City, but was unsucceful, Invernedd taking the honours. Paisley, is quite a calm town compared to Glasgow and is very pictrescic. If you visit paisley, make sure you visit St. Mirren FC, Paisley Pirates, Paisley Abbey and Town hall and the Sma Shott Cottages or take in a little drame at the Arts centre. It pays to be in paisley!!!!!!
