As a 19 year old living in Northwich i can hardly say that it is a thrilling place to live, with only one club that has just opened with an entrance fee of £5 and a mandatory membership fee of £5 i haven't actually been able to afford to go yet, but there are quite a lot of pubs in the area, but these are hardly exciting either. There is Wetherspoons which is relatively new in Northwich plus other pubs in the surrounding area, most noticably the White barn in cuddington or the abbey arms, which is where most people go. The social life is not exactly lively, but chester and manchester are quite near so it isn't too bad. Living in Northwich is alright, the town centre is getting better, there is now a music shop again after the other one was closed down, but the centre does seem to be a mecca for charity shops, there is an argos, a woolies, a wh smith a boots a new look and an M&S so it does have what every town centre should have, oh and a macdonalds. I am trying to think of a good thing to say about Northwich and to be honest i am stuck for something to say, its just a normal town with nothing extra special about it, the social life is rubbish to be honest and the town is collaposing because of the salt mines underneath...so really my advice after living here for 19 years and finally being able to get away because of university is don't come to Northwich...and if you are a parent thinking of moving to northwich don't do it! the area seems to be going down a lot and to be honest there really isn't a lot to bring you here in the first place, go somewhere better that isn't collapsing.
