Quick and simple coffee with style!

This is a stylish and classy looking coffee maker. Let's face it, a coffee maker makes coffee, but this one does it whilst looking like you nicked it from the Space Station! A very simple and easy to use machine, put the water in, measure your coffee and press your selection, half pot (3 cups) or full pot (6 cups). Don't worry if you make a mistake, you can always cancel using the stop button. The water jug and coffee pot come off the machine for easy filling/pouring and the filter system also conveniently deconstructs for easy cleaning. My one gripe is that the finished coffee doesn't stay warm long enough. A mechanism for this would make this the ultimate coffee maker! As it performs it's task with minimal noise and does it in the time it takes for the adverts to play through in the middle of Coronation Street.

A great coffee maker for those with a few bob to spare!

When my Dad bought one of these coffee makers at great cost, I thought he was fairly crazy. I have now bought one myself as not only is this coffee maker beautiful it is easy and convenient to use. The machine itself is made of brushed chrome and looks very snazzy, it is quite large so if space in your kitchen is at a premium, then this is not the machine for you! The water jug and coffee flask are separate- the flask keeping the coffee warm for a fairly long time (to pour out the coffee you have to remove the screw lid). There are two settings for a half full pot and a full pot of coffee- with a stop button - handy for if you press the wrong setting. The best feature of this coffee maker (behind it's looks!) is the speed at which it makes the coffee, having previously had filter coffee machines that always take a long time for the water to filter through, I am constantly surprised at how quickly a full pot of coffee is ready. If you have had a traditional filter coffee machine before you will probably, like me, have forgotten to turn it off and had rush home for fear of the pot exploding over the course of the day, the Siemens machine is great as once the water has filtered through the machine turns itself off. If you are interested in beautiful looking things, then this coffee maker is definitely recommended, it is expensive but is very practical and is likely to be a design classic.
