My rating of the view differs as to my varying state in the club. At first I hate the view, its a bit shit to be fair, although it has had a quite recent refurbishment it is still pretty shit. However the more drunk you get the more you love it. The music at first is really dancey which is fine if you like that kind of thing, but I prefer cheese when I am plastered and they play plenty of that later in the night when everyone is wasted. Basically there are two rooms, there is the main room which is where I usually go, which is why I can't really remember the second room, it might be called the "porn room", infact I think it is called the porn room, scarily. The drinks aren't all that cheap BUT they do have offers on, so when you go you'll find there is one cheap drink you can stick to all night that will get you sufficiently plastered enough to enjoy the place. The dress code is "no effort no entry" so lads with trainers aren't allowed, and its not just an empty promise as loads of my lad mates have been sent home because they were wearing trainers, the bouncers are quite strict, and with good reason as it does get a bit rough sometimes, there have been quite a few fights when I've been there. The cost to get in is around a fiver I think, it may be a little less, but its cheaper before half ten, so I'd advise you to do that, its dead before half ten, but this does mean that you don't have to queue for drinks, and you can get a seat. All in all I have had some amazing nights out at The view but this is basically because of the state that i have been in, its a must for girly nights, and transport home is taxis and there are plenty of taxis outside so you needn't worry about getting home, which means that it is safe for girls to get home. Its the only club near me, apart from a new club in Northwich called the "laughing cookaburra" but it costs £11 at t
he moment to get in there so it looks like The View will be getting more of our custom for the near future anyway...and to be honest i don't mind that, it is a good laugh, especially, and I can't stress this enough, when you are plastered.
