“ Wood Street , Liverpool. „
the krazy house is a 3 floor club located on the popular wood street in central liverpool. Its open thursday friday and saturday nights ht etop floor (k3) is the most popular getting really full on saturday nights and at these times it could take an hour to get served at the bar, so its recommended you go down to k2 or k1 to buy your drinks the k3 play a mix of popular chart music, popular indie, cheesy pop and some dance music. k2 plays mostly indie music the likes of red hot chilli peppers and limb bizkit etc. k1 play mostly metal and rock and 'mosher' music like slipknot and Nine ince nails drinks are fairly cheap and on offer nights (which i tink is all nights now) they have an ALL DRINKS 241 promo, which actually isnt all drinks its just most bottles and beers, for example sambuca is £1.50 for one Door prices can be expencive ranging from £3.50 a massive £10+ on event nights but if you get there before 11pm or you sign up to their facebook page you have a chance of getting in for much cheaper. the bouncers can be strict but they're on and off, sometimes underage people do slip through the net but there is always bouncers walking around the club to make sure there no trouble. the toilets are horrible - alright for lads but girls you might want to hold it in. Whats annoying though is that they play the same music week in week out and they also sometimes play the same song numerous times in one night and even the same song on different floors! alot of people are intimidated by 'the kray' but its fun and nobody is gunna judge you there. the dress code is most of the time - where whatever you want, you see some people on the k1 dressed in full gothic gear but you can turn up in fancy dress, or just casual clothes and there shouldnt be a problem, unless of course it an event night e.g. halloween when fancy dress is required to get in. age group is mostly young 18-20s but you do see people in theree 30's and 40s in there and theres no problem there once a month they do an all nighter until 6am most nights they close at about 4am
I spend a lot of time here when I was living in Liverpool. Its great - they used to have 241 drinks offers but that stopped, the drinks are still not too badly priced though. It has three floors with different music on each floor, the music changes depending on the night you go, but generally, heavy rock on the bottom, indie on the middle and cheesy rubbish on the top. Its good to go with if your with mates who are into different things, because you can just change floors to let everyone have a piece of what they want. They have a burger 'van' type part in the club which is great if your hungry! It is a bit expensive though. They also have pool tables so you can have a game if you fancy. It doesnt get very busy until later on, so if your going in earlier to get in cheaper, be warned, you might be lonely for a while!

The Krazzy House is the best (if not the only) real rock/metal club in Liverpool. Every Thursday Friday and Saturday the entire Rock/Metal loving population of Merseyside and beyond descend upon this club for some booze fueled moshing and general hard-core partying. The club itself is on three seperate floors with a seperate DJ for each floor. The ground floor or K1 is the heavy rock/metal floor... expect plentry of SOAD, RATM, Metallica anything loud and worth moshing too. The second floor K2 is more commericial stuff and older stuff lotmore Nirvana, Bon Jovi etc here. The third floor plays lots of nu-metal and more modern punk blink182 and sum41. Expect to get absolutly wasted while your at the K, £3.50 in and drinks are two for one all night. expect to pay £3 for two bottles of beer. The place is open til 3am so the party continues way into the night. This is the place to be in Liverpool if your into metal/rock there really is nothing like it, and i've yet to find a better rock club in the North-West maybe even the whole of the UK. The K even has its own following on the Kerrangg website. Well you've heard what I've had to say now get out there and experience it for yourself!!!
If you are into Rock, Metal or Indie music and live in Liverpool then the Krazy house is the place for you. Situated in the town centre on Duke street next to revolution and open three nights a week it offers good music and great value and the odd live band. Thursday night is indie night with music such as the stone roses, Prodigy, Reef, Pulp etc. Friday gets a bit heavier with bands like Korn, The Deftones added to the mix. Saturday is metal night with the main floor dominated by Korn, Slipknot, Cradle of filth etc. It costs only £3.50 to get in and drinks are two for one so its also a cheep night.
