      lovley tasty mini chocolates

      My mum brought me a box of the toblerone tinys for Christmas this year and it was the first time I had tried them. I have always really liked the original toblerone and remember buying one of the largest ones at the airport every time I went on holiday as a child. So when I realised that the toblerone tinys come in 3 different varieties in the same box I was really looking forward to trying them.

      The boxes of toblerone tinys are available at most larger supermarkets and currently cost £3.99 in Tesco for a 330g box.

      The toblerone tinys come in a pyramid shaped box which has a perforated pull off strip which allows you to pull back the top of the box but leaving it attached at one side so that you can put the top back on. The box is a yellow and red colour and has a mountain logo on which as far as I cam remember has always been the standard packaging design for toblerone. On the back of the box you can find a pictiure and description of each of the three different varieties of toblerone that are in the box, storage instructions, ingredients listings and nutritional information. Inside you will find each tiny toblerone wrapped in an individual plastic wrapper:
      - White - White Chocolate
      - Yellow - Milk Chocolate
      - Black - Dark Chocolate

      On the box it states that a serving is 24g which is equivalent to 4 tiny toblerone's. Personally I find that I eat more than this in one sitting as they are rather moorish. But if you are good enough just to eat 4 then the nutritional information for this is:
      Calories - 125 kcal
      Protein - 1.4g
      Carbohydrate - 14.0g
      Fat - 7.1g
      Fibre - 0.8g

      As I stated earlier the toblerone tiny's come in three different varieties, milk, dark and white chocolate. Each one all have small pieces of honey and almond nougat scattered inside the chocolate. Each toblerone is made up of three little triangles of chocolate joined together at the bottom and have the word 'TOBLERONE' imprinted across the bottom.

      The toblerones are made of Swiss chocolate and you can certainly tell that it is nice quaility chocolate from the nice rich, smooth taste. Although I am a huge fan of the original milk chocolate I also really like the white chocolate as they are really creamy and sweet. The dark chocolate ones are much richer and although very nice I find they are better if you just want a small amount of chocolate as they are very rich. The honey and almond nougat pieces also work perfectly well in all three chocolate varieties and add a lovely crunchy but slightly chewy texture to the chocolate. You do need to be careful with your teeth as the small nougat pieces can get stuck in them which is a little annoying but I find this is better with the tiny ones as the nougat pieces are not as big so tend not to be as noticeable but are still very tasty.

      Overall these are a great box of chocolates to eat yourself or to give as a present!

        Delicious bites of heaven - enjoy

        Mmmmm swiss-type triangular chocolate, how lovely.

        I am usually given a load of chocolate each Christmas. From my parents and grandparents my husband and I usually get at least four varieties (perhaps we need fattening up) - this year I got a box of these and a box of chocolate orange segments. My husband got two tins (greedy) of miniature heroes and roses. We mixed them all up in the two tins to make life a little more exciting.

        These were my favourite though, and hubby's I think. We were both often to be seen shuffling through the tins looking for something yummy. These were the jackpot - and the black ones - the ultimate reward!

        There are 3 flavours - white (sweet), milk (old school) and dark (heaven). They are each made of 3 tiny triangles, that fit nicely in the mouth in one go, although they are a bit of an odd shape.

        If you like nuts and honey and chocolate, you should like toblerone, and these are the best type as you don't get the faffy foil mess like you do in a big bar, and don't have the urge to eat a whole bar just to prevent it from melting - perfect.

        Beware though - hubby brought me back a small toblerone (bigger than these, but wrapped in plastic not foil) from Turkey - it was horrible, far too sweet and bitty. I'm not sure where they were made, but it wasn't the same at all (I choked it down, but gave the other ones away!).

          Advantages

          Disadvantages

          NOT FOR ME AND WOULD NOT HAVE THEM AGAIN

          I got a box of these sweets as a Christmas present and here is my review.

          The Toblerone Tinys are in a triangular shaped box that is a pale brown beige colour the same as the colour of a Toblerone bar wrapper. The box is made of card and I think the packaging is eye catching and it stands out on the supermarket shelf because of the shape of the box.

          When I opened the box I could see that there were three types of mini Toblerone in the box. The three types have a different coloured wrapper. There is a black one which is the dark chocolate Toblerone, a white wrapper which is the white chocolate Toblerone and a beige coloured wrapper which is the Swiss Toblerone which is the milk chocolate type.

          The dark chocolate kind is the kind that I do not like at all and I tried one to see if I could eat it but it was to rich for me and so I did not eat any more of them.

          The milk chocolate ones are my favourite and these are nice and creamy and the chocolate is a good quality. There are small pieces of nougat in all of the types of Toblerone tinys but in the milk chocolate type I think the taste of the sweet nougat goes best. The white chocolate ones are nice enough but I think they are a bit sickly after eating one or two and so I was not to impressed with this box of chocolates as I really only enjoyed the milk chocolate type and the other two types got a bit ignored.

          Each Toblerone tiny is like a small bar of Toblerone when I take it out of the wrapper as it is a little bar shaped with three triangles of chocolate in the same way that a bigger bar of Toblerone is shaped. I think it can be a bit sore to eat this shape of chocolate if you are not careful you will hurt the roof of your mouth as I have done. This is because the top of the chocolate bar is shaped into a point and this can be sore to bite down on!

          I would not buy this box of chocolates again as they were not really for my tastes. If you like a variety of different types of chocolate then you might like them more than I did but I am not a fan of dark chocolate anyway and I thought the white chocolate got a bit sickly after a while so the next time I would just buy a bar of milk chocolate Toblerone as these varieties are not for me.

          great product!

          Toblerone is one of my favourite chocolates, and for it to be in a multipack with lots of mini bars mean I do not need to indulge in one big bar!!! This is a great product.

          ~~~PACKAGING~~~
          The box is a large triangular prism, which is great as it is original packaging... However, they are all individually wrapped, so a lot of plastic is used... This makes it good for sharing and giving away to friends.
          ~~~VARIETY~~~
          The box contains three varieties: Milk, Dark and White. I have never really liked milk chocolate, but with this being Toblerone, it is much more dynamic and interesting, and I have grown to like it.

          ~~~APPEARANCE TASTE AND TEXTURE~~~
          Each mini Toblerone has three segments and tastes absolutely fantastic. I love the texture of the chocolate mixed with the honeycomb, it is a perfect combination. The taste is also very addictive, not too sweet and definitely makes you want more!!!
          I have always loved Toblerone for their originality in design, you can break the pieces off to share as well. I love that there are three varieties, you will never be lost for choice.
          It is great to eat this as a treat for yourself or just as a snack after lunch or dinner. It is so yummy and indulgent!
          ~~~PRICE~~~
          It usually costs around £3-4, but on special offer, you can get this for under £2! I recently bought a box from Tesco for only £1.99!

          ~~~OVERALL~~~
          I would definitely recommend this box as it extremely good value. You get three varieties in this multipack, each individually wrapped, and is perfect for sharing. Upon opening the box, it is filled right to the top, unlike those other scammy brands that only fill their products half way.
          It is perfect for Christmas, and perfect for sharing. This is definitely one for everyone!
            Advantages
            Disadvantages
            Just sit back and enjoy.
            You come across an offer you can't possibly resist. Today I spotted a heap of boxes which were filled with miniature Toblerone chocolate bars. The Toblerone Tinys were nicely boxed and they were priced at £3 for 330g .
            The whole world has gone mini mad, but in one respect it is a good idea, maybe the trend for all things chocolate to come in miniature is meant to prevent us from over-indulging.
            What a treat those boxes of Cadbury's Hero's are, I have my special favourites and I am ashamed to say that I pick them all out before anyone else gets a look in ( the mini-Maltesers!)
            The mini Toblerones are described as being a `twist` on the conventional larger bars. In the box there are lots of baby Toblerones, some in white chocolate, some in dark chocolate and some in milk chocolate. Each miniature Toblerone consists of three triangles of the sweet Swiss chocolate and is individually wrapped.
            I must have lead a sheltered life because up until today I had never sampled a dark chocolate Toblerone. I have tried the white chocolate version and although they are reasonably good these will be passed on to the Other Half who just adores white chocolate.
            I think that most of us are familiar with the milk chocolate Toblerone, the sweet creamy Swiss milk chocolate is fabulous. The Toblerone is reminiscent of the homemade christmas pudding that has been stuffed with sixpences only those small silver coins come in the form of nuggets of nougat and chunks of nut. I have to say that I am like a child when I come across a nugget of nougat, I like the sweet sticky nougat to adhere to the edge of a molar so that it can be enjoyed over a longer period of time !
            These miniature Toblerone bars are neatly wrapped and each type of chocolate is wrapped differently so that they are instantly recognisable.
            The white miniature bars are already in the Other Half's in-tray for him to enjoy at his leisure. I plod along and partake of a dark chocolate Toblerone tiny which is good but I have to admit that the traditional milk chocolate Toblerone win hands down for me.
            I have now sidelined the dark chocolate ( to be eaten when there is nothing else in the cupboard ) and move swiftly on to the miniature milk chocolate Toblerone.
            This is more like it, the rich creamy milk chocolate is amazing and it is riddled with nougat and chopped nuts, before I know it I am sitting beside a heap of empty wrappers.
            Though I cannot put my finger on it there is still something missing...
            Then it dawns on me, when I am about to enjoy a few squares of Toblerone I usually have a few obstacles to overcome first.
            The triangular box needs to be prised open, a larger bar of Toblerone is incredibly difficult to break apart and I have often resorted to putting the carving knife in between the triangles and hitting it with the rolling pin. You try sticking your fingers in between those chocolate triangles and breaking it, it takes a better man than me.
            Then the larger bar of Toblerone is encased in a thin silver paper, of which every scrap must be removed before you can start to eat ( in case a sliver of the silver paper should get trapped in your filling ).
            Having the box of Toblerone tinys made life far less complicated but it took some of the fun away. The miniature Toblerones tasted every bit as good as the larger bars but it was all too easy !
            Each toblerone Tiny contains around 55 calories and unless you want to look like Wallace and Gromit don't be tempted to put them into your mouth side ways.
              Advantages
              Disadvantages
              You may as well buy 3 normal sized Toblerones for half the price.
              == Introduction ==
              I got these one year for Christmas. I have never really been a HUGE fan of Toblerone, it isn't really anything I would pick up in a shop and buy for myself, but when I am bought it, I enjoy it. So when I got these I was intriqued as to what they were.
              I thought they were going to be something really exciting, I expected them to be Toblerones with different things inside them etc. So I was quite disappointed to find that they were just mini toblerones in milk chocolate, white chocolate and dark chocolate, nothing else was different about them.
              This I was quite disappointed about, especially as I am not a dark chocolate fan, so there was a third of the box useless to me anyway. What I also found was that the majority of the box was full of normal milk chocolate toblerone anyway, which was just annoying.
              == Where can I get them? ==
              Toblerone Tiny's are sold mainly around Christmas time for gifts, I haven't seen them much around the stores and I don't think they are very popular in the shops!
              == How much are they? ==
              When I have seen them in the stores, they have cost around £3 a box depending on where you get them from, if you find them in the likes of Home Bargains, BnM's or Quality Save, you will find they are much cheaper, at around £1.50, whereas buying them from the likes of Waitrose, they may be a little more expensive at around £3.50.
              This is an average price for a box of chocolates of this size, which is about the size of a Quality Street box, and contain about 30-50 chocolates, which are perfect for the bowl at Christmas or at a party!
              == Taste test ==
              Well almost everyone has had a Toblerone, and knows what they taste like. For those who don't, they are very sweet, and the chocolate is quite low quality, theree's none of your Cadbury or Galaxy here! But still has a pleasant taste to it. When it starts to melt in your mouth there are small pieces of nuts and little pieces of Nougat which are my favourite part of the Toblerone!
              All of the mini's are the same, but with white and dark chocolate. My favourite in the pack was the white chocolate one, which was really tasty, as I love white chocolate! My least favourite was definitely the dark chocolate, but that is because I have never liked any dark chocolate!
              == All in all ==
              The chocolates are nice enough, but a little boring really. You would think that Toblerone would use their imaginations a little more and came up with something a little more exciting and different rather than just a mini versions of their bigger chocolate bars.
              I wouldn't buy them for myself, even though they were nice, I would rather spend my own money on chocolates which I enjoy more, that's not to say if I received these as a present I wouldn't be happy with them (all chocolate presents to me are more than appreciated!!!!!! lol).
              In conclusion, if you want a Toblerone, just buy a Toblerone, I wouldn't bother with the £3.50 price tag these hold when you could buy 3 big Toblerones for just over £1.
              Advantages
              Disadvantages
              Yummy!
              These are currently on offer in my local Sainsburys, so we decided to buy a box instead of the usual chocolate bars. At the reduced price, they were £1.
              ***What they are***
              The box contains little 'packets' of Toblerone pieces, which are all individually wrapped. Each 'packet' has three of the Toblerone pieces to it, as you can see in the product image above if you look closely. There are three different varieties of Toblerone in the box: white, dark and milk. Each have the usual honey and nougat.
              ***My thoughts***
              I prefer these to the usual bar of Toblerone, which I often find difficult to break triangles off and often come a cropper with the silver foil. As these are individually wrapped, it's just a matter of tearing off the packaging and snapping the triangles off. I like not having to mess around with the foil, and as each 'packet' only contains three small triangles, you could probably fit them into your mouth as they are if you so wish!
              Although there are three different varieties of Toblerone in the box, my particular box contains mostly the milk variety. The milk variety weren't very evident, which is a shame as I quite liked those ones. There are quite a lot of the dark variety but I'm so keen on those as they tend to be a bit sickly if you eat more than one at a time. As these are incredibly moreish, that's not difficult to do and you can easily find yourself continuously reaching for the box.
              Taste-wise, these are rather delicious. The white chocolate in particular is very creamy and can be a bit sickly after a while. Likewise with the dark chocolate, although it isn't particularly creamy and is on the rich side. The milk chocolate tastes wonderfully smooth. All in all, they are extremely edible. I defy you to stop at one!
              ***Nutrition Information***
              According to the packaging, there is 13.5g of sugar and 7.1g of fat (4.2g of which is saturated fat) in each 24g serving. The packaging suggests that this is roughly equivalent to four pieces, so it's not a very healthy way to eat chocolate. Having eaten more than a handful of these this evening during Strictly and X Factor, I dread to think what I've consumed. I'm assuming that a 4 pieces serving refers to four separate packets of three triangles, as there is a note underneath indicating that there are approximately 13 servings per pack.
                Advantages
                Disadvantages
                Your Dad will love them. Or your Mum, Sis, Bro, 2nd cousin twice removed etc. etc.
                Just sat on the sofa feeling soothingly satisfied but also acutely guilty after snaffling half a 330g box of Toblerone Tinys (that spelling looks weird to me, surely it should be Tinies? Please someone enlighten me?!)
                I bought them in Tesco last week, half price for the princely sum of £2.00. I had planned to put them away for an Xmas pressie but after coming home from work ill today, only chocolate could soothe my heavy headedness so out they came.
                There are three varieties contained within in the chunky, toblerone box - milk, white an dark. There did seem to be an overwhelming proportion of the milk variety which didn't bother me as they are my favourite!
                The box is vastly filled with the mini Toblerones, they certainly haven't skimped on the quantity. Each flavour is generously dotted with the expected honey and nougat crystals Toblerone is famed for. They are sized at about a 2.5cm x 1cm, perfect to pop straight in your mouth.
                I will definitely buy some more of these little beauties but will leave it closer to Christmas otherwise they run the risk of being demolished once again. Dads love Toblerone don't they? Along with the obligatory 5 pack of socks from Next and an accompanying bottle of Glenfiddich, sorted!
                  Advantages
                  Disadvantages
                  Little triangles of yummy Toblerone goodness!
                  In recent years, a startling trend has begun which aims to make everything smaller; cars, Ipods, Home Entertainment Systems ~ all have been stream-lined to a much finer, less large image and even chocolate has failed to be exempt. Those big huge bars you used to buy that were allegedly twice the size of a normal bar are now two bars in one package marked with the tag-line, "One for you and one to share". A ridiculous concept because honestly who wants to share a bar of chocolate?
                  This trend has expanded to other chocolate favourites now too such as the family selection box; now we have Minature Heroes and Mars Celebrations which take our normal size favourite bars and shrinks them down to bite-size. This is a novel idea and one that has proved moderately successful and which has recently seen chocolate giants Toblerone following in the suit of their competitors.
                  Enter Toblerone Tinys (nice alliteration guys!) which combines all three flavours of Toblerone (dark, milk and white chocolate varieties) in one box in little bite-size chunks. At first, this seems like just another company following suit and nothing to write home about paticulary but, having been bought a box of these very recently for my birthday, I have to say that I have rapidly been bowled over and am now a fan! These even taste better than the big Toblerones for some unfathomable reason and the chance to chop and change between all three varities is a real winner. You can keep your Celebrations and your Miniature Heroes, this is a box of chocolates to die for!! My favourite trick is to eat a milk chocolate Toblerone Tiny first followed by a scrummy dark chocolate number then finishing with the white chocolate one so you get a unique hit of bitter dark chocolate quickly chased by the smoothness of the yummy white! The taste sensation of this experience is close to orgasmic and puts a beaming smile on my face that actually quite worries my wife. Its true, this is ONLY chocolate but that dark chocolate hit followed by a mini triangle of white chocolate is a real winning combination that really can't be beaten.
                  My only complaint ~ there seem to be more milk chocolate varieties than the other two (or at least in my box) and that is a travesty as the dark and white versions are easily my favourites. Still this is a chocolate box that, not only has lasted me several weeks which is unusual for a selection box that normally lasts only a few days, but has also left me much more satisfied than the usual fare that includes Cadburys Roses or old-school favourites, Quality Street!
                  At just under a fiver from most retailers, these are not the cheapest chocolates around but I would rather have a box of these again any day rather than any of the rest of the competition! Lets just hope I have been good enough for Santa this year.....
                  Advantages
                  Disadvantages
                  Perfect for indecisive Toblerone lovers
                  I have many pet peeves in life and boxes of chocolates are one of them. They're so totally and utterly pointless. If I want chocolate I want a 200g bar of it not a huge box costing three times as much with half the amount of chocolate and revoltingly squishy liquid centres which make you really wish you hadn't bothered in the first place.
                  Then along came Celebrations (mini chocolate bars) and hanging on their coat tails Toblerone Tinys. At last the manufacturers are thinking along the right lines. Toblerone Tinys are individually wrapped which makes them acceptable for sharing, not that my collegues have any concerns about breaking chunks off someone elses giant bar. Most importantly they taste just like their big brother the original Toblerone in all its 400g glory.
                  The biggest advantage to Toblerone Tinys is a single 330g box conatins thre three most popular Toblerone falvours namely milk, dark and white chcolate saving you trying to decide which individual bar to get or more importantly from buying all three and then suffering from stomach ache. I have no will power where chocolate is concerned.
                  Price is still an issue at £3.99 a box (£1.21 per 100g) but compared to £1.00 per 100g bar thats not an enormous price hike. Its still much cheaper than a traditonal box of chocolates (400g Milk Tray £4.98 Asda).
                  Toblerone Tinys are housed within a triangular box with a hinged lid opened by removing an easy tear strip. Within the box are approximately 65 minature Toblerone bars each weighing 5 grams. The bars are segmented into four allowing you to break off even smaller chunks to make the bars last even longer. Quite possible the best thing about Toblerone Tinys is the size they're perfect for putting into your mouth whole without getting chocolate under your fingernails which seems to happen whenever I break chunks off a giant 400g bar.
                  Clearly you're wondering about the taste. They're scrummy. The beige wrapped cholate are full of the unique honey and nougat flavourings that make Toblerone stand out from the crowd, the black ones are dark chocolate although its not as bitter as other dark chocolates and the white one is simply devine, not a cloying as Milky Bar white chocolate but still incredibly creamy.
                    Disadvantages
                    Great chocolate.
                    Toblerone Tinys are perfect, giving you a bite sized chocolate mouthful of your favourite swiss treat. This is really great, as whenever I purchase the big bar I end up eating a lot more than I should!
                    There are 125 small three pieced triangles of happiness! They come in a great big golden bag, which has a triangular shaped window showing off all the tiny Toblerone treats. The words "tiny Toblerone" are written across the front of the packet, tiny in gold, Toblerone in its classic red. There are many toblerone treats are scattered all over the pack.
                    Once your eager hands tear open the golden wrapping, you will find many (but never too many) tiny Toblerones. Each Tiny Toblerone treat is individually wrapped and coloured like the standard bars. Black is for the dark variety, white for white chocolate and the golden for the regular milk chocolate.
                    The three tasty varieties of chocolate are as follows, my personal favourite, the white chocolate, this can often be a bit too sweet for me but the
                    Toblerone is just right, the milk chocolate, this one is smooth and creamy, and the dark chocolate, which is very rich and provides an authentic chocolatey experience. All of them are full of crunchy chewy honey and almond nougat, that really brings this chocolate to life as the pieces compliment the smooth chocolate really well melting slowly in your mouth as you savour the delectable mini bites, of which each bar has 3 mini triangles for you to enjoy.
                    They are a little pricey at £14.99 for a 750g bag but you can find them on offer and I got mine for £11.99 which I felt was a pretty good saving considering there are 125 mini bars in a bag!
                    Every 4 of these bars (24g) of Tiny Toblerone contain
                    Calories: 125Kcal
                    Protien: 1.4g
                    Carbohydrates: 14g
                    Of which sugars: 13.5g
                    Fat: 7.1grams
                    Of which saturates: 4.2g
                    Mini version of a classic
                    The Toblerone has been around for years - since 1908 in fact, and it hasn't changed much since that date. Its familiar gold coloured container with red writing has remained intact over the decades, and the chocolate itself (shaped like a triangle to represent the Swiss Alps) is still as difficult to eat as ever! Recently however, a new style of Toblerone was launched... 'Toblerone Tiny's' - individually wrapped pieces of what is described as "The tiniest Toblerone in the world" - but never mind all of this micro nonsense... are they any good?
                    Manufactured by Kraft, each Toblerone Tiny measures three and a half centimetres in length, and is shaped like a mini version of it's larger chocolaty brother. The Tiny is divided into three sections, and comes with three varieties in each pack; Milk, White, and Dark Chocolate.
                    Costing around £3.40 for the 198g box, the product would probably fit into the 'gift chocolate' section of the market, as the price is fairly high for a quick snack for yourself.
                    Ingredients
                    - - - - - - - -
                    In terms of its content, the product contains;
                    Sugar, Cocoa Mass, Whole Milk Powder, Cocao Butter, Honey (3%), Milk Fat, Almonds (1.6%), Emulsifier (Soya Lecithin), Egg White, and Flavouring (Vanillin).
                    Flavour
                    - - - - -
                    The taste of these Tiny Toblerone's are actually exactly the same as the larger versions. The milk chocolate one is probably my favourite, and like the original version, 3% of the chocolates content is honey. The intermittent lumps of nougat are also prevalent, although because they are much smaller, they don't get stuck in your teeth as much as the bits in the larger versions do.
                    The dark chocolate Toblerone Tiny is pleasant enough, but considering the fact that i'm not really a dark chocolate fan, it doesn't really do it for me - besides, dark chocolate always makes me sneeze - which gets really annoying after a while, so I generally don't bother with it.
                    I found the white chocolate variety to be a bit of a let down, as the taste doesn't seem to be quite as nice as a Milky Bar - although that said, it's hard to really assess the flavour, as each tiny is so... well... tiny!
                    In summary, Toblerone Tiny's are fairly tasty chocolates - however, due to the fact that i'm not really a fan of dark chocolate, and the white chocolate ones aren't that great, I would always opt to buy a regular sized milk chocolate Toblerone in future.
                      Advantages
                      Disadvantages
                      small toblerones in a box
                      History
                      The toblerone as we all know it, has been around for quite some time as it was first created by Theodor Tobler and Emil Baumann in Switzerland in 1908. For a chocolate bar that?s been around for over 100 years its good to see that a lot hasn?t really changed about the bar itself.
                      When it was first created, they came up with a unique blend of nougat, almonds and honey and mixed this into milk chocolate to create something totally unique at this time.
                      After doing some research into the shape of the toblerone, I also found out that it was based on the Matterhorrne of the Swiss Alps and this is why it was given its triangular shape it is so renowned for today.
                      The new variation.
                      These toblerone tinys are basically miniture versions of the original toblerone pieces. Unlike other variations which have been individual pieces wrapped up, these contain a bar of three little pieces on each block you get and these are all wrapped individually. They contain a mixture of the three toblerone flavours, milk chocolate, dark chocolate and my personal favourite white chocolate.
                      A waste of packaging or a good idea?
                      Personally I wasn?t too sure about these at first, although the box these come in is fairly big, it feels very light and like there isn?t that much inside. Whereas when you buy a full bar of toblerone, you know what your getting straight away, you can feel the weight of the bar and know you have a fair bit of chocolate for your money.
                      I suppose that you don?t get anywhere near the amount of chocolate that you would in a full bar of toblerone, however the point of these is that you have a choice of what chocolate to eat.
                      A full bar of toblerone is usually quite big, obviously depending of what size you get, however you may get bored and sick of just the one type of chocolate. This is where the toblerone tinys come in, as they give you the choice of three. Toblerone say this gives you the choice of sharing your chocolates, and they are quite good for this as your couldn?t really share the big toblerones as easily as you can with these new tiny toblerones.
                      A bad point to the three different flavours though, is that not everyone like all three. I like milk chocolate and I love white chocolate toblerones, however I?m not really that keen on dark chocolate, and not many people I know are either. So that means that I?m spending money on a third of the chocolate that I?m basically not going to eat, or if I do eat, I?m not really going to enjoy. However perhaps I?m just a fussy eater and most people like dark chocolate?
                      In terms of is the packaging a bit excessive, probably so. They come in a cardboard box which is cleverly designed so that once opened, the top acts as a kind of lid for the box so that all you little toblerones can be kept inside. However you do end up with a lot of wrappers at the end, after they have all been eaten. I?m not really too sure if this is something that they could have cut down on though, as I wouldn?t just want my chocolate not wrapped in anything, so perhaps it is essential however a lot of packaging is used here.
                      What do they taste like?
                      The taste of a toblerone is unique and quite hard to explain but I?ll do my best, I?m sure you have all tasted a toblerone at least once in your lifetime anyway.
                      These tiny toblerones are also no different to the full sized versions at all, as expected as well. I?m glad they havnt gone changing the flavour as to be honest the were perfectly fine before, and I think the flavour of these never should be changed either.
                      The white chocolate toblerone as I mentioned earlier is my favourite by a clear mile, I think this is where the taste of the almond and honey really comes through. I think this is because white chocolate is a sweater taste than dark and milk chocolate and it also isn?t as strong. This makes the taste of the white chocolate seem a bit stronger than most and also means that the honey and almond taste is a lot more prominent. As you would probably expect, these come in the white wrapper and are easily identified as white chocolate. I really could eat these all day.
                      The milk chocolate is my second favourite edition. it?s the first toblerone I ever ate, and probably is for most people as it?s the most common one, and most peoples favourite too. Its not quite as sweet as the white chocolate edition however the taste of honey and almond really comes through again and gives a real nice flavour to the chocolate itself. Unlike some other milk chocolates, its not too strong and tastes really creamy and light, and that?s what I like about it. These come in the cream/ yellow coloured wrapper which is the recognisable colour of the tobelrones you will probably all know well.
                      The dark chocolate one is really the only one I?m not that bothered about. These come in the black wrapper and I tend to give most of these to anyone else that will eat them. I just really don?t like dark chocolate as I find the taste a bit over powering. The honey and almond doesn?t come through very well and this ruins the whole taste of toblerone I think. I do have to be honest though, I don?t mind these as much as most dark chocolate as its probably more sugary than a lot as it still tasted quite sweet, but the dark chocolate are still my least favourite out of the three.
                      So?. Just how bad are they for you?
                      Alright, well it had to come some day, this is the bad part of my review where I find out just how bad for me all those chocolates I just ate actually are.
                      Okay iv done this based on 2 actual blocks, so essentially 6 pieces of toblerone.
                      Serving size- 6 pieces, 35g.
                      Calories- 180
                      Total Fat- 10g 15% of GDA.
                      Saturated fat- 6g 30% of GDA.
                      Trans Fat- 0.1g
                      Cholesterol- 10mg 3% of GDA.
                      Sodium- 20mg 1% of GDA.
                      Total Carbohydrate- 21g 7% of GDA.
                      Dietary Fiber- 1g 4% of GDA.
                      Sugars- 20g
                      Protein- 2g
                      As you can see, for only two small blocks of chocolate, a hundred and eighty calories is quite a lot when you can have a healthier option chocolate bar or biscuit which isn?t quite as bad for you. The saturate fat is also quite high as well, and it would be very easy to eat over your GDA in saturated fats alone. My advice is to just east a couple of these a day and make them last instead of eating them all in one go, which I?ll admit, is what I did.
                      How much are they going to set you back?
                      Well I actually received these as a gifts for Christmas, and since then haven?t bought any more.
                      I haven?t seen these for sale in asda however I did see them on special offer in Sainsbury?s 2 for £5 a couple of weeks ago. I?m sure there?s other shops you can get them for cheaper as well but you may just have to look around a bit.
                      What are they good for?
                      If I were advising these toblerone tinys for anything, it would be a great gift idea. For any one who loves toblerones, or just for any one who likes chocolate, and lets face it, that?s pretty much anyone. They are nicely presented and don?t look really cheap, and I received these as a gift and I certainly wasn?t disappointed.
                      Do I advise them?
                      Yes and no, as mentioned above they are a good gift idea however I think if I were going to buy a chocolate bar for myself then I would just get a big toblerone bar. You get more for your money with a big bar and they also last you longer than these do.
                      And with these toblerone tinys, its not as easy to see when someone?s pinched one either.
                        Yummy for your tummy - Bad for your hips
                        INTRODUCTION
                        Toblerone Tinys are small blocks of chocolate available in 3 flavours of chocolate; dark, milk and white. Now produced by Kraft Food the Toblerone has a rather auspicious history. In 1867 Jean Tobler opened his first store and the first factory in 1899. 10 years later he patented the recipe of honey and almond nougat mixed into milk chocolate. 1969 saw the introduction of a dark chocolate version, followed by the white chocolate version in 1973, but it wasn't until 1995 that someone thought up the genius idea of making the mini versions.
                        NUTRITIONAL INFORMATION
                        According to the pack the nutritional information as below ?
                        Per 100g;
                        522 Calories
                        5.8g Protein
                        58g carbohydrates (56.5g of which are sugars)
                        29.5g fat (17.5g of which are saturated)
                        0.05g sodium (equivalent to 0.13g salt)
                        100g is equivalent to about 16 Tinys, so the news isn?t good, but then what were you expecting?
                        THE LOOK
                        The chocolates themselves are a miniature version of the triangles (apparently modelled on the Swiss Alps) that make up a normal bar of Toblerone that are individually wrapped in either black (for dark chocolate), cream (for milk chocolate) and white (for white chocolate) wrapper that make them look appealing. A small box is prism shaped and made from recyclable cardboard (good news for the environmentally conscious amongst us).
                        PRICE
                        Coming in at around £3 - £3.50 they are fairly good value for a mid-range box of chocolates, along the same lines as Heros or Celebrations.
                        AND MOST IMPORTANTLY THE TASTE
                        Made with honey and almond nougat the Toblerone taste is distinctive from other chocolate. They have a slightly marzipan tang which I?m guessing come from the almonds. With the bitter taste of the dark chocolate infused with the honey the dark ones are my favourite. The white ones are a little too sweet for me, while the milk ones are somewhere in the middle.
                        CONCLUSION
                        Toblerone Tinys are yummy little triangles of unusual chocolates for when you need a treat. The only downside is the calorie count. None the less they are great for sharing and provide something a little different from the rest.
                          Advantages
                          Disadvantages
                          Fantastic for a bit of a treat!
                          I'm a sucker for chocolate. If a genie gave me three wishes I would use one of them to create a calorie free chocolate (of course after solving world peace etc) Tolberone is one of my favourite brands and are really only seen in our house at Christmas, Valentines Day (?) and Birthdays. The big blocks are the best but one section can leave you feeling quite sickly and can be a little too much. Sometimes you just want a little bit of yummyiness, which I think is what inspired Toblerone to make '"TINYS"'
                          What Is It?
                          Toblerone 'Tinys' are baby versions of the blocks of toblerone, you usually can buy. However in this you get a box of mixed chocolate (ranging from White, Milk and Dark) so allowing you to share with everyone (even though I thought that was a silly idea!)
                          Why Get Little Ones, When You Can Get Big Ones???
                          I have to answer this, as I'm sure when reading this you will wonder why someone doesn't just buy the big blocks. Three main reasons:
                          - Sometimes all you want is a bit of the Toblerone, sweet yummy goodness, to satisfy that craving. Everyone gets it, especially because there is nothing like Toblerone sold anywhere else. So its great to have a little box of mini's whenever the time arises.
                          - They come in a variety so you don't have to stick to one choc (If you fancy a bit of white chocolate, then you can go for it) Selection is key, and also if you do what I do and stick your hand in the box and get a 'surprise' (Yes that is sad, but we all have done it...)
                          - If like me you have a big family then can be passed around much easier, instead of your dad eating a huge chunk, leaving a tiny amount between the kids. So practical, as well as yummy, to avoid wee family arguements.
                          Presentation Box
                          Once you have opened it, it acts as a lid so you can open and close the cardboard top to keep your 'Tinys' fresher (and safer) for longer. The fantastic thing about this is it can be easily given as a present, used as a treat and of course if you want it to be, be part of your food shopping. We got a box for this for Christmas, and it had a little santa hat on the side, in which I have noticed in Tescos, is now geared up for Valentines day. These are designed to be cute, in which the packaging is small, the writing is adorable and it wins on the cuteness level. You can get a similar one which is the 'Cubes' which aren't quite the 'Tinys' as these are actually little blocks of Toblerone. Of course I don't think you would mind!
                          If you are struggling for a Valentines gift lads, the way to a girls heart is through her chocy's!
                          Taste
                          This is vital... Now to be honest they taste EXACTLY the same as regular Toblerone, with no variation at all. This is a great thing, as you are just getting the miniature versions, which has not been tampered with.
                          The chocolate has boasted to be so good because of the honey and almond added to the chocolate. This makes it pretty unique taste wise and more unusual as you have the chewiness of the honey and almond mixed, but almost a crunch from the almost as well. The chocolate is top notch, exceptionally creamy with a melt in the mouth feel. It is just sweet enough, however can make you feel a bit sickly after about three. Heres a bit of analysis on each one, to get your tastebuds racing.
                          The Milk (Original) One - Everyone knows this one. It has the distinct cream coloured wrapper, and is considered to be the original. This is my personal favourite and will appeal to everyone who enjoys a bit of milk chocolate. It has an exceptionally creamy taste and is quite rich and sweet, but with out being too over powering. The kick from the almond gives it an outstanding taste (I'm getting hungry writing about it!) 10/10
                          The Dark One - I have to admit my least favourite, and the one that is usually left at the bottom of the box. This one has the jet black wrapper, and is one of the newer releases from Toblerone. Now, I'm not actually a fan of Dark Chocolate however this one is not at all what I expected as it is still sweet, compared to the bitter taste I was expecting. This is quite a light Dark chocolate, but it is I think sweeter because of the honey, which I really quite like with this. Not my favourite but deserves 8/10
                          The White One - If you don't like sweet things, stay away from this one. This reminded me a lot of "MilkyBar" chocolate, except more sugary and sweeter. You definately could not eat to many of these in a hurry and is one as a treat. This is really creamy and pretty heavy in sweetness, not to mention quite milky. I could only really eat 2 "Tinys" and get away with it, but super scrummy if you are having it as a treat. If you haven't tried this one yet, then I would completely recommend you give it a try. 8.5/10
                          Price/Where To Get It
                          I got my box from Tescos £3.50. These are on sale all over the country and can be bought from so many supermarkets, gift shops, sweet shops etc. Now that is quite a lot of money, however remember how much you pay for the regular one? We got this as a treat and thats how this product should be treated, like a box of celebrations. This would be a great present, and that is it should be bought, if it is for you or for someone else. Have a look out for these, I saw these on offer in WHSmith only a few days a go so watch out for them.
                          Extras
                          The annoying thing about this chocolate is that a lot of people can't eat it as it contains a lot of milk. You should not eat this if you are allergic to egg whites, milk, lactose, almonds and soya so watch out.
                          Another bit of extra information you should know, these are actually really quite small. They are about the length of your thumb (sorry we've eaten them all so cannot measure them!) and really are miniture versions of the famous blocks. You do get a lot in the box though, and it is genourously filled to the top. So you can eat them quickly and cover up the trail of shiny wrappers!
                          It's Great Because...
                          Where do I start? These are my favourite chocolates, and beat other brands such as cadburys and galaxy by miles when it comes to quality. There is not quite another chocolate like it, it tastes like Toblerone. I really enjoy eating these, as not only are they cute little versions of the well known brand, but also are in bitesize chunks, so when you just fancy a bit you can just go and get a wee bar.
                          These are also very cute and appealing as they can be easily shared. Families will love this (until you only get left with the dark chocolate ones) as it can be shared around easily and be stored away conviently. The smell is so super, and sweet as well and just makes your taste buds water like mad. This is a truly great treat sweet and fantastic for all sorts of reasons.
                          It's Downsides
                          It is calorific. If you eat them in moderation they are fine but there is quite a lot in a box and it can be tempting to have around 6 at a time. So they work out to be around 30/40 calories (The white chocolate one has the most fat) per miniture bar. If you were to only have one, it would be fine but the sweet yumminess of them, just makes you want to have more. For the size of them, I wouldn't have expected it to be as high as that.
                          Overall
                          You know when you just want a sugar kick? Or want a bit of chocolate after a hard days work/school/outdoor pursuit? Then this is for you. If you are stuck for a present for someone then why not this? It is comical if they like Toblerone already as the size is a little bit shocking when you first have a look (seriously they are pretty small!) and act as really good shares. Of course if buying for yourself then take out your favourite ones as they will get eaten really quickly. You will notice as soon as you buy this, a majority of your favourites will mysteriously disappear...
                          One of my favourite treats, and I would recommend to everyone who loves Toblerone.
