      Yummy But Expensive!

I got this Lindt Nocciolatte chocolate bar from the BP garage, I LOVE Lindt but am trying to cut back on my junk food so their massive slabs of chocolate are out. This is more like a normal sized bar of chocolate...... even though there's nothing normal about this price and it cost me 79p!!! It's made up of 3 squares of chocolate and they're quite big but I still don't think the chocolate bar is as filling or even as big as a Cadburys Whole Nut. I didn't think to check the weight of the chocolate bar because I was too busy scoffing my face but I think you can look at the grams all by yourselves! lol It's milk chocolate and is absolutely gorgeous, the chocolate has the same creamy and smooth flavour that ALL Lindt milk chocolate has. It's sweet and mega delish, when you put some chocolate in your mouth it will start melting pretty quick. Each of the 3 segments of chocolate has got a whole hazelnut in it and there is a hazelnut filling as well. This gives the chocolate a delish praline flavour and also makes it feel very luxurious to eat, it's weird though because even though the bar is made up of quite a lot of nuts it doesn't taste all that nutty. That's probably because of how rich and strong tasting the chocolate is but it's a bit of a disappointment because I LOVE nuts and was looking forward to a big time nutty bar here! It's still delish though and I'll probably buy Nicciolatte bars again, the problem for me is that it's majorly expensive for what it is. Each segment of chocolate works out at over 25p and that's stupid, yeah it's a wickedly tasty bar of chocolate but mega overpriced. A Whole Nut is 65p in the shop by me and that's got 5 segments plus LOADS more nuts than this one and also TASTES nuttier. Recommended..... but very expensive and probably not one you'll be buying all that often.

        A luxury individual chocolate bar

During a recent lunchtime, and needing a chocolate hit, I was in my local Superdrug and looking for something new to try. I came across this 40g bar by Lindt chocolatiers called Nocciolatte. I LOVE Lindt chocolate, and the little bar looked and sounded very appealing, so he was popped into my handbag (after paying of course) and gorged on as soon as I got the chance. The bar is wrapped in plastic wrapping with a luxurious dark blue and gold design, and shows a picture of the bar on the front, along with some milk being poured from a jug. The bar contains 3 whole hazelnuts and a creamy hazelnut filling, and has the lovely rich chocolate taste that you would expect from a prestigious brand such as Lindt. The 3 nuts are encased in chocolate and sit along the flat chocolate bar with equal space between them. The chocolate itself is easy to bite into and the creamy filling is subtle but creates a good base for the whole hazelnuts inside. It's probably not as filling as hefty chocolate bars such as Snickers, but it is satisfying enough I would say. Be aware, this bar is not good for sharing, as it is only divided into 3 sections (as per the 3 whole hazelnuts), so unless you only want to be left with 2/3rds of the bar or less, then don't share!!! (I didn't). I'm not overly keen on the fact it only has 3 portions, as it seems like you are not getting much out of it, but I guess putting lots more nuts in it would make it more expensive. At 69p, it is quite pricey for a chocolate bar, although it is worth the money as Lindt chocolate is of another league to the Nestles and Cadburys of the world and has a really yummy taste. Lindt are normally quite famous for bunny rabbits, big chocolate bars and eggs, so to see their chocolate in a nice individual format was quite appealing. As sometimes you might be like me and just want a small amount of chocolate rather than opening a box or a big bar, and then having to finish it! I don't think I would buy this regularly due to the price (plus I think the novelty of it would go if I had it too often), but it is really lovely as a treat.
