      Disadvantages

Great as a treat but otherwise too pricey

I have to say that upon finding this website a couple of years ago I got very excited (sad I know). The website was called www.aquarteror.co.uk. It is a website that sells all the old fashioned sweets that us olders used to buy by the quarter.

The first thing I spotted were white chocolate fish and chips. Now these are basically solid white chocolate shaped as either a fish or a crinkly chip. Now what made me nearly fall off my chair was the price of these sweets, they charged me ......wait for it.......£1.83 for ONE QUARTER. I was outraged as I remember paying a hell of a ot less. Anyway, I decided that for the sake of nostalgia I would go mad and order many different varieties and these were top of the list.

They come on clear plastic pockets tied at the top (not like the old papery type little bags you used to get) and when you open up the bag the first thing that hits you is the smell. The chocolate is very strong and this particular white chocolate I can only describe as smooth but crumbly.

I have no idea who makes this chocolate, only that it was the first of many quarters that I chose from the website (beware ... the site is quite appealing). This is quite a strong white chocolate and just one 'fish or chip' is surprisingly quite filling. One quarter is plenty as they tend to get quite sickly. I also don't remember them tasting quite like that when I was younger but I get the feeling everything is different as I get older :-(

All in all it was a pleasant trip down memory lane, but won't be a long one due to price!
