From the makers of PowerDVD, comes a professional multimedia suite that includes ten powerful application in one convenient package.
Cyberlink DVD Suite 7 Pro features PowerDVD 8, PowerDirector 7 HE, PowerProducer 5 Ultra, MediaShow 4 DE, Power2Go 6 Deluxe, PowerBackup 2.5, InstantBurn 5, PowerDVD Copy, LabelPrint 2.5, and PowerStarter 7.
The result of such an armada of applications is the ability to create professional looking films, edit high-definition videos, burn to all media types, back-up personal data, organize photos and videos, create covers and labels, slide show creation, enhance videos and pictures, and that's only scratching the surface. New features of this version most noticeably include Blu-ray support, as well as support for AVCREC, AVCHD and other video files, improved slide show design tools, new design effects and templates on DirectorZone.
All of the applications included seem very easy to use. Whether you want to do something simple like burn a DVD, or something more complex such as edit video, then it's all pretty much straightforward and painless with a narrow learning curve. This is thanks in part to the streamlined and well designed lay out of the software. The range of features on offer and their ability is vast and slightly mind boggling. This multimedia suite offers everything that a either a home or professional user could ever need.
Installation of the software was easy and straightforward. Not the quickest program to install but it is very large so make sure that you have plenty of free hard drive space. This seems to be another program then gives you no option for a custom installation, so rather than install the components you want or need, you have to do a complete installation and then (if you wish) remove what you do not want - which was very time consuming.
But, the main problem that I came across is that while you can create Blu-Ray videos and discs, you can't play them back. Included is PowerDVD 8 which doesn't support Blu-Ray playback (you'll need the Ultra version to do this), it seems like a very odd thing to miss out considering that pretty much everything else is here at your disposal.
Overall a very comprehensive software package for a very reasonable price. There are a few minor complaints but otherwise I can't find a great deal to fault.
You can but this software on Amazon.co.uk for £54.79
