Caudalie Cleansing Water (30ml)
I received this product as part of a starter set from Caudalie which contained five minis and the set was priced at just under £10 I think and this product was included. I have been using this product as a toner and like all of the other caudalie products I have tried - it is great!
- Product description (from salonskincare.co.uk)
"Cleansing Water cleanses and removes makeup perfectly. Its non-irritating formula filled with active ingredients leaves the skin soothed and moisturized with a perfect clean feeling. For all skin types: even the most sensitive. Ideal for those wanting an effective cleansing and moisturizing lotion in one."
- About the product
I received this product as part of a starter/mini set and it is the 30ml bottle, which would be great for travelling. The cleansing water is suitable for all skin types and sensitive eyes. The product is made in France, it is soap free, it doesn't contain parabens and it is ophthalmologically and dermatologically tested.
- Using the product and results
I have been using this product as a toner after my cleanser and before my moisturiser. The product itself does look just like water, it is very runny and it is clear - but it smells like cucumbers, which I like but others may not. To use as a toner I have been dispensing some of the water onto a cotton pad and sweeping it over my face, eyes and neck before I apply my moisturiser. The first couple of times I used this product I did experience very slight irritation but it really wasn't anything major and it definitely didn't stop me from using this product and after those first couple of times I then didn't experience any irritation. This product works well as a toner I find as it just clears and refreshes the skin and makes sure that all of my cleanser or face mask has been removed before I apply my moisturiser.
The toner feels really light, fresh and refreshing on the skin which makes it nice to use and it is a quick and easy process. The scent of the product is evident when using but when the cleansing water has dried off the skin the scent isn't noticeable. I have tried using this product as a makeup remover too and it does remove some of my makeup really well but it doesn't get rid of all of it and it is best used as a toner, in my opinion. I have now used this product up and I think I would buy it again although I am happy with my Lush Eau Roma Water Toner instead but I would recommend this product for use as a toner.
