“ Manufacturer: Wilkinsons / Type: Cat Toy „
When we got our cat she had been well and truly spoilt and she came with many different toys and accessories, one thing she came with were some plastic balls with bells in and when our daughter stepped on the last one and broke it I decided to get Jet some more as she liked them. I found these when I was shopping in Wilkinson's, I never really think of Wilkinson's for pet things but I actually found all sorts of goodies in there. The balls costs £1 a packet and a packet contains 3 balls which is pretty good value in my opinion. The balls are made of plastic and all the balls are made up of two colours one colour on each half. The balls are about the size of a ping pong ball which is a good size for the cat however not for my feet as I keep standing on them. I thought balls like this were for kittens however my cat is four and she really loves them but then she is a very playful cat. Jet likes to play with the balls on her own and chase them up and down the room but she also likes it when we roll them along the floor from side to side and she tries to catch them between our hands. These toys are cheap and cheerful, they are durable enough as long as you don't stand on them and loads of fun for cats to play with although I have to watch my youngest daughter as she likes the bell in them and likes to play with them too.
My two little kittens Poppy and Rosie are around 5 weeks old now. To help them settle into their new home, I decided to buy them a load of 'cat toys'; one of them being a set of 3 balls which I bought from Wilkos for just £1 for 3 balls which I thought was good value for money. The balls are different coloures; each ball consists of 2 colours. For example one is pink and orange; this is good as it means that the balls 'stand out' and are easy to see. Each ball is around the size of a ....let me think....new potato (that was the only think I could think of...lol). They are a good size - big enough to allow the kittens to have a good old play with, yet not so big that they cannot move them around. The balls have a 'bell' inside them which means that they make a noise if you move/shake them. This is good as it catches the kittens' attention. Poppy and Rosie love playing with these toys; sometimes they will start playing with them themselves, whereas other times I may have to role them around before they take notice of them. Once they start moving them themselves and running after them; they start to get really hyper. They sometimes like just 'holding' them in their paws too. I think that these are a great toy for kittens as well as cats, and at a good price too. I would definitely recommend these balls to all cats and kittens. Thanks for reading!
