In my opinion its a great family car with good performance.

I have owned a 2.6 vectra gsi for over 3 years now and I highly recommend it. Altogether I have had 2 of them and dont regret buying them and will be keeping my current one until it dies. The car is a little more torquey than the 2.5gsi but the top speed is slightly lower but this doesnt bother me as i very rarely like to do over 100mph. The Vectra Gsi is nice looking family saloon which in my opinion is well worth the money. The engine pulls very well even when fully loaded but does like to drink the fuel abit. I average 32mpg and thats just going to and from work and the odd day to town all on b roads. The interior is spot on and the gsi's have recaro seats. For those that dont know, 2.5 and 2.6 gsi's were origionally sri's but were sent to MSD (Motor Sports Developments) in Milton Keynes where they were transformed into the GSI. The only downside to these cars is the engine management light. It likes to come on every now and then and costs £30 at the vauxhall dealers to get it diagnosed.
